2 moments: 1. Him vs. Then terrorists in iron man 1 2. That damn nano suit up in avengers infinity war. Such a goosebump moment. It got me in the teaser already and yet. And yet... I felt like fangirling like crazy when he did it in the film. Man o man.
Not Thor, not Scarlet, or even Hulk himself. Tony saved New York from a nuclear bomb, and for being a single small mortal human being, went up against Thanos himself. Respect for the man that started it all.
I honestly hope Tony retires after Endgame. Not in a bad way, like I want him to leave, but he just deserves so rest after so many years of trauma and crap being thrown his way. Maybe he’d have a kid with Pepper, and they’d just live out the rest of their lives in peace.
Omg the homecoming scene where he tells peter "and if you die thats on me" brought the water works on again. I will say they did an amzing job building the ironman and spidey mentorship and love they have for one anither incredibly well. Peter had nothing but love and respect for tony, and tony had nothing but love and hope for peter. hope that one day peter will be a greater hero then he was ever capable of being.
I know im kinda late but i read somewhere.. but iron man 2 had a deleted scene where tony visits a doctor who says its almost impossible to remove the arc reactor and that he is amazed how he even survived the first surgery and that your doctor must have been amazing.. to which tony reponds.. he had steady hands
You guys said that the divide in the avengers was because of tony in civil war but I personally think Cap shares just the same amount of responsibility as tony did, the avengers are supposed to be the first line of defense to a global problem but Steve dragged them into a personal issue
What you guys were saying about Yinsen never being mentioned, I have a scenario/theory that in Endgame, when Tony and Nebula are on their last moments of oxygen and are about to die, Tony is gonna remember his situation in the cave with Yinsen and what he told him "Is this the last act of defiance of the great Tony Stark!" and Tony will decide 'No, I'm not gonna end like this!' which will lead to what we see him and Nebula doing in the Super Bowl spot.
I feel like tony and captain America are both gonna die in end game ...and tbh I was team tony in civil war captain America blew up the Avengers over a dude who said hey to him once 90 years ago I mean come on Bucky isn't worth the trouble he's caused in these movies lol .
Bucky isn't just some guy, he was THE guy. He was his closest and dearest friend. The only connection to his past, the only person left that knew and accepted him as the skinny asthmatic guy. Also let's not forget that Bucky was drugged and brainwashed to do those things so he is innocent of these crimes. And both of these things are enough to force someone with Steve's principles to act. Personally I disagreed somewhat with both. There should be some oversight but not at the level that it would have been with Ross's plans. And the split happened because of both sides, not just Steve. If you remember Steve left a means of contacting him, it was Tony that didn't want to use it in infinity war... And I suddenly just realized that I've written more than a person with a life should about this subject... :/ peace.
