Fun fact: those blueberries tony had weren't in the script, RDJ just kept hiding blueberries around the set for snacks and they couldn't find them hidden around so they left them
Fun fact: Tony in every movie makes a new suit each time and makes it better then it was before, that’s why the thors thunder didn’t overcharged his suit and instead the suit absorbed it so the suit wouldn’t break down like it did in iron man 2.
@@kishiberohan4038 vision no Wanda is a hard maybe and doctor strange has little to no defense against him so it’s almost 1 shot for him. Stormbreaker Thor is a lot stronger then you’re giving him credit for
Yes, that and perhaps he had a mini character arc. The man started out on the run from the government, completely pessimistic about his life and mistrusting of others, but by the end he is part of a team that values both his intelligence as Bruce Banner and his power as the "other guy," when normally this was the object of people's fear. After he fell out of the air fortress thing, instead of running away, he willingly drives to NY to help his friends, and willingly transforms to save them. I think he became more accepting of his other side and the fact that Hulk deliberately spares them is the movie's way of showing that he has grown
@@marvelsandals4228 maybe, but when the team was arguing in the lab, Bruce had picked up the scepter and didn't even know it. In any case, their minds were affected. Tony would have ended up mind-controlled like Hawkeye if the script hadn't told Loki to tap him exactly on his arc reactor with the scepter.
So the last scene of the Edward Norton Incredible Hulk film shows Banner meditating with a "Days Since Last Incident" counter. He opens his eyes, which are glowing vibrant green, and the counter drops to zero as he smiles. The implication is that he has been training to activate the transformation at will, and the movie itself showed that he has some ability to aim the Hulk's intentions. It also seems like the Hulk responds to the emotional state of Banner - the more panicked, scared, or generally out of control Banner feels, the more out control the Hulk will be. So Banner willingly activating the transformation will give you the most calm and in-control Hulk possible.
I saw this in theaters three times, and when it hit Blu-Ray I watched it with my sons every night for nearly a year. One of the best films I've ever seen and the fact that it started a ten-year story arc that will never be duplicated in cinema.
@@jupiteruniverse8683 Oh, I mean literally. I can quote the dialog at any point. Kinda like how I've seen The Princess Bride a pile, too, and am in the same boat there. Ask my kids, they were nine and eleven, we really made popcorn each night. If I started it at the right time, they'd be getting sleepy right at the end and were ready to crash by their bedtime. Why do you think I kept doing it? 😁
What really makes this work so well is the fact that, having seen these characters in their own films previously, we can be taken to just action and leave character development mostly to the side. It makes for a total roller-coaster of a show!
It makes me so happy the way you reacted to Cap giving Fury the $10. Because somehow people don't pay attention and miss this then ask "why did he give him money?".
19:34 *SPOILERS* I love how cap and tony switch "roles" in civil war. cap followed order and rules, tony did what he thought was right with or without anyone. and in civil war, they switched that completely. super cool character development.
The verble fight on the helacarrer and Hulk going all blind rage was Loki manipulating them with the septer. Loki was able to us the spters powers to mess with people even if he isn't holding it. Though the amount he can do at distance is limited. Remeber how Banner looked a little dazed when Loki smiled at him? That was Loki doing a low key spell.
That is what I will always enjoy about the scene between Black Widow and Loki. Loki is a trickster and can easily tell if someone is lying to him. For Natasha to not only pull one over on him, but to also openly lie to him is a feat that even Loki cannot acknowledge because it would mean that someone could pull one over on him.
Words cannot express just how insane it was seeing this movie come out in 2012. Before Avengers, the idea of taking the sprawling, inter-connected comic book storytelling to the big screen was considered insane. So many characters, so many moving parts. You'd have to convince the audience that all these films deserved to be watched and needed to fit together just right. And they pulled it off. By all rights, the Avengers should have been a disjointed mess. But it's instead one of the most beloved movies in recent memory. I was 19 when this movie came out. I watched it three times in theaters all on opening day. It was magical to me.
That scene is so damn funny to me. They're just sitting there, munching schwarma, looking hella awkward and out of place. It's gold. Nobody says a word, they're all avoiding eye contact omg that should be a painting
Jeremy Renner did have an accident a year ago but he is almost fully recovered and he actually just started filming Season 3 of his hit show Mayor Of Kingstown.
for Hulk theres a difference between mission based transformations and stress overload transformations. Mission based has more control and awareness of ally and enemy(this can be lost depending on how angry he gets). Stress overload transformations is pure hysteria and aggression.
a) renner was using his snowcat plow to plow a driveway to help his BIL get free from the snow, the plow was moving, he ran to stop it and slid underneath it. it crushed his legs and part of his chest, he had 2 surgeries. but hes not paralyzed lmao WTF? he'll need several months of PT but our Hawkeye/Clinton Francis Barton/Jeremy Renner is going to fully recover.
You should really watch Agents of Shield. It ties in with the events of the movies from here on, and it also is one of if not THE BEST superhero live action show ever put to TV. Also, you need to start checking for both mid-credit and after-credit scenes, you missed a very important one here. Maybe in your next movie reaction you can react to it?
Jeremy Renner was plowing streets in his neighborhood with his snowcat machine. He got out to help someone, and left the plow running. It started to move, and when he tried to get back in, he was thrown under it and run over. Most of the broken bones were in his chest and abdomen. Despite media reports of severe injuries to his leg, he was never in danger of leg amputation; but he is in bad shape.
I remember the hype of watching this in theaters. First time I experienced literally every seat in the theater being packed, you could feel the excitement.
If you look up the deleted scenes, the woman from Critical Role has several long ones that they cut. You are on point that Cap’s suit is really…not good in this movie 😆 It’s hinted in previous Iron Man movies (and in this one) that Tony’s dad did not show him a lot of affection growing up, but was always talking about how great Steve Rodgers was, so he has some serious resentment there.
In his movie he has the "classic" suit they used for the propaganda and then he switches to a mix of the helmet and shield with some standard army gear. It make sense story wise and works fine. In future films (like Winter Soldier) they really perfect his suit. It is very similar to the one from this movie, but just a bit sleeker, lots of dark blue, its still a damn "America" suit, but it seems functional, like actual combat gear. In this movie it just...looks off somehow lol
I think you put it well that the big difference is that the other suits look more functional and this looks more for show. It’s just so ‘bright’ and colorful haha
"But that's all you've ever done, tho, Captain; all you've ever done is follow orders..." The various recruiting offices around the tri-state with false names & IDs before Erskine gave Steve his big up, the entire given-up-for-dead 107th Infintry, & the poor USO showgirl who got her helmet stolen when Steve, Peggy & Howard snuck out behind enemy lines against dimiwitted Chester Phillips' direct orders to save hundreds of POWs -- might say otherwise. They might've put the Brooklyn boy into the Army uniform, but the Army uniform couldn't take the Brooklyn out of the boy. 😉
Bro I’m so excited for the rest of the series you have such a great personality and you’re watching my all time favorite series I can’t wait to see the rest much love man
25:56 norsk gods and goddess, like egyptian ones, aren’t immortal. they die a lot in battle and rarely from disease, but they will never die from old age (at least in mythology)
Not only the armor charge the energy after getting hit by thor's lightning, the core after it receive new element help a lot since it can be charged by a huge amount of energy Captain America shield is basically: oh, thanks for the beautiful gift, such a good shock, now take it back Of course if the force of the attack is too much, the shield can't handle
Hulk attacks what pisses him off the most. He can somewhat play nice with others but he has a temper tantrum like no other. As long as he's more pissed at someone else, you might be ok.
So you asked about how far the comics go: so most of the comics started in the sixties. Marvel has put out over 30,000 comics in all. The comics (up until around the mid-2000s) were each very episodic. There are not any movie that are one-to-one from the comics, and, unlike most manga to anime, the people behind the MCU have to search through the comics of the characters to find what might work for the movie. So, for instance, there are far over 400 issues of Avengers, and Loki is a villain that fights the Avengers pretty frequently and so he was picked as the antagonist for this movie. Sorry for the rant, its just that so many people are like "why read the comics it just spoils the movie" but it really doesn't. lol.
I love how the tesseracts light and glow throughout the mcu gets dimmer and dimmer and dimmer until AOU and it's just a video but in TFA it was so dramatically glowy that you couldn't even see it just the light from it😭🙏
Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) drove his snow plow out to help a stranded relative in a snow storm and was accidentally run over by his own enormous several ton vehicle. He broke 32 bones but is doing very well (considering)
Jeremy renner (Hawkeye) actually saved his nephew from being crushed by his snow plow because the breaks failed and in doing so jeremy got half his body crushed and the rescuers had no idea how he survived. They had to reconstruct his chest and arm.
The man Jeremy Renner that plays Hawkeye (Bow and Arrow man) you heard wrong. He was not skiing and had an injury. He got ran over by his own snow plow helping a neighbor leave from his driveway. Yes it did almost kill him. Ans broke his sternum and many other bones. Not sure how that gets to a story of being told of him skiing.
People often forget that while Loki is weaker than an Asgardian, he's still much more physically stronger than a human. He's a 'dwarf' Ice Giant, after all.
Hulks an odd creature but basically how you put it is how it works at least initially If Bruce lets it happen/chooses for it to happen then Hulk is still mad but not so unreasonably mad that he turns into an unstoppable entity of destruction But if Bruce is pushed into it from extreme bouts of anger, almost dying, or some other way then Hulk starts out way angrier than normal and thus a beast Technically their other hulks in the comics that have other criteria but for that's how Green Hulk works
I think the reason hulk wasn’t attacking everyone was because hulk was attacked on the ship and he wasn’t in control and in the final battle he transformed willingly and was in control of
Same here I think people sleep on it a bit and act like all the movies following it are better when actually theres only like 4 or 5 out of like 20 movies that in the same league as this one
wow i didnt know that down townsend is starting his marvel journey! i was with him the whole jojos bizarre adventure journey, looks like there will be another one!
1. what happened to Nick Fury's eye will be revealed in a later film..you just have to wait for it.. 2. yes, you're right..when banner transformed into the hulk in the hel-carrier, attacking Black Widow, he doesn't want it..he's trying to stop transforming..the thing with the Hulk, as it was an entity inside Banner, it will try to protect Banner from anything..it doesnt want Banner to just die..so in times that there's danger, it will try protect Banner..thats why it wanted to get out during that scene..when Banner doesnt approved to be Hulk, he had less control over it..but when the final fight came, Banner is willing to be the Hulk for that..thats why he had somehow have control over it.. 3. when loki caught Hawkeye's arrow, he doesnt actually know that it was a trick arrow that was made to be explode..however, Hawkeye knew Loki will caught it..and yes, Hawkeye doesn't miss.. 4. did you miss the mid-credit scene? there's another one beside the shawarma scene.. entering Phase 2..next is Iron Man 3..
You see the first time hulk transformed was due to the blast cause uncontrollable rage but the second time switched he and banner places willing, hulk can understand speech but was too angry the first time
This is the point where you start getting 2 end scenes. A mid credit and end credit. The one you seen is this vid was an extra one I think you missed the real end credit scene for the setup for the rest of the movies
O.M.G. I have watched this movie a million times & I just now got the "reindeer games" quip. IT'S BECAUSE OF THE FREAKING HORNS ON HIS HELMET!!!!!!! 😅😅😅😂😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
27:07 he was helping his nephew free his vehicle from the snow and the snowplow they used started moving towards his nephew so he tried to jump into it to stop it from hitting his nephew and it pulled him under. Last I heard he’s ready to play Hawkeye again if they want him back. He wrote some songs while he was rehabbing. Definitely check out his music he’s pretty good.
Cap is absolutely NOT used to following orders. The entire middle part of his first movie is literally him disobeying orders, saving his fellow soldiers, and then commanding them in small scale guerrilla style attacks on hydra bases. Cap is a leader through and through, NOT a follower.
Yo you're a critter too. Hell yes. She's Rarely mentioned she was in this cuz it's such a minor role. Campaign 2 was my favorite. I started watching when that campaign started and I've been caught up ever since.
The one arrow that blew out the helacarrer. Hawkeye would know where the fuel tanks and capacitors on that machien are located. I think this is how it did so much damage.
When Loki says "I don't have it" to Thor asking him to come home, it means he's saying he has no home to go back to. He doesn't see Asgard as his home because of the events of Thor 1. Also Ashley Johnson is the girl from Critical Role. She was a child star before making a big name for herself in the voice acting world performing in roles like Terra in Teen Titans, Gwen Tennyson in Ben 10 Alien Force, various main characters in Critical Role, and probably most notably Ellie in The Last of Us. She was also a main character in the scifi series, Blindspot. She's been around the scene, so Avengers probably feels rather mundane to her especially considering her role was essentially left on the cutting room floor.
Hey Don i dont know if you would consider making a series of this since its pretty lengthy, but if you want to see more of Agent Colson there's a whole TV series on him called Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. i would highly recommend watching it :)
I remember in the Captain America video you were thinking about other things you could watch. Might I suggest Doctor Who? It's a completely different avenue to what you've been reacting to so far but I feel like it'll bring a wider audience to your channel (the Who fandom is MUCH less annoying than the JoJo fandom at the very least). Also... just sorta wanna see your reactions to a lot of the episodes. Genuinely think you'd love it. Just a suggestion though!
You missed the other end credits scene. Most of these movies have AT LEAST 2 after credit scenes. One mid credit and one after usually but they can have more!
when Avengers came out me and my family went to see it at a drive in here in Canada and we had the speakers in our car pretty loud and that part where the Hulk jump scares us got me so bad when he is going after black widow also amazing reaction man seriously im subbing
