bro how this guy acctually recorded this in the theatre, in our country if we get caught recording, there is a penalty. Devices should be switched off in cinemas, cuz there are cctv's but this guy um idk about his country lol i wish could rec
Crysta1Pisto1 oh yeah I forgot but still endgame is considered to be technically like the end of the entire phase 1 2 and 3 and far from home is just that one movie that’s after endgame but no one really considers it part of it
I guess the audience forgot Tony wasn't physically strong enough to withstand using the infinity stones. The moment Doctor Strange held up that finger to say "this is the ONE," I started tearing up, knowing Tony wasn't going to survive.
The crowd cheered too in our theater too. But out of all the cheering, there was this one guy who kept shouting "No, Tony!". Then I looked at RDJ's face and knew what was coming.
@@pizza6357 I expected it the moment him and Dr. Strange locked eyes even though I was watching for the first time. So, when Tony lifted his hand, ready to snap, I kept chanting “no” in my head. I was already tearing up even before he said “And I am Iron Man.” While everyone around me just cheered like crazy. I think most in the audience forgot that a normal human won’t be able to survive wielding the infinity stones and snapping. I didn’t forget that fact though…
I think the only people that didn’t understand he would die, are people that just tuned in because of the hype, or they were like 13 or younger and not really understanding what would happen.
Kolas in a way yeah cause in the first one no one was able to do it than maybe Thor and second one idk forgot and third he did cuz outta whatever 200,000 attempt that doctor strange saw this was only it
As soon as I saw Tony had the stones, I started to cry because I knew what that meant. Sure I was happy that they’d finally win but I also knew what it cost. R.I.P. to the hero, Iron Man
Robert Downey, Jr.'s acting is so good here. The struggle, emotion and mustering of courage in his face is really believable, you can see his character knows he's saying goodbye to his fam. Great actor
He actually shot this scene twice cos in the first time the dialog "I'm Ironman" wasn't there and in the second time he was actually denying to shoot again cos he didn't want to be in that emotional state again, he said it himself that this character meant a lot to him and gave him so much! It'd be so hard for him to shoot the scene again with the same dialog where it all started.
What if Thanos had come over and pulled it, and Tony farted loudly. Then they all had a good laugh, and then sang a song about farts and world destruction
They should have made that part of his character development as a dumb as all hell gag. Like imagine he had little bits in the iron man movies where he tries to snap and someone comments something like "Man tony you're the only motherfucker I know that can't snap his fingers" and then finally in this scene he snaps his fingers. Forget finding purpose in his life and going from a selfish playboy to a self-sacrificing hero, him finally learning how to snap is TRUE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Find an excuse to let one of these off the chain, and I personally guarantee you the bad guys won't even want to come out of their caves. For your consideration, the Jericho.
I really appreciate this audience. Cheer when something meaningful happens but quiet down when a character is talking. A lot of reaction videos to this scene have people cheering during his talking which utterly spoils the moment. And what a moment it is.
In like 2016 or 2017 when I went to Disneyworld I went to this event where they explained what would happen next in the MCU and the map for it was like infinity war in 2020 and endgame in 2021 but they haven’t named endgame endgame yet but then they decided to make the movies way earlier I guess
@@robertdeltoro5183 lol what xD no, he is talking about how every movie that was scheduled to release this year is getting heavily delayed, endgame was already without any delays one of the, if not THE most anticipated movies ever, especially after Infinity War basically left a huge gap for Endgame to fill. So if you had waited almost a year for endgame to finally release after you've seen Infinity War and then Covid game and delayed Endgame for at least another 6 months, and almost everyone else feeling the same way...
Lines like that remind me how back in the 90s one of the names kicked around for a albeit maybe non-blockbuster version of Iron Man was Bruce Campbell.
i love how the entire audience waited for iron man to say the entire line and the moment he finished everyone started cheering just to not make noise over the scene
i went the second day after it was released and there were these 5 guys behind me and my best friend clapping when they saw Andrew & Tobey and then when andrew was cracking tobey's back they were like "YO! woah! that's bit fruity" it was hilarious
People reacted in 2 different ways: 1. those who didn’t know Tony was going to die simply cheered. 2. those who do realized the implications were in shock, stood quiet, or cried.
I realized but still cried cause I've knew this was Tony last glorious moment, I knew this was the last time I was gonna cheer for his heroic act. I didn't wanna waste this opportunity
1st Snap - Thanos kills half of life 2nd Snap - Thanos destroys the stones 3rd Snap - Hulk resurrects half of life 4th Snap - Thanos snaps but has no stones - dud 5th Snap - Tony kills Thanos and his army. Performance issues. One out of five.
At least they were quiet like literally a nano second before he finished the "I am IronMan" part. "And i.. *WOHHH*.....am......Iron man"- *WOHHHASBAUHSYIHWU WOHH YAHAH SAHHUD HOOOOOOOO WWOWHAH*
When the part Tony says "And i am Iron Man". ......the people in theater we watched Endgame clapped their hands and cheered minutes later we shut up!Realizing Tony saved the world but he will die ......And literally i burst into tears because Iron Man was my fav Avenger since i was 3........We love you Nat and Tony 3000
"They say the best weapon is one you never have to fire. I respectfully disagree. I prefer the weapon you only need to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it, and it's worked out pretty well so far." - Tony Stark, 2008
Yea ik he’s black and died so it’s a huge deal Don’t see anyone making comments ab Stan Lee dying you know the man who invented all the superheroes and comics smh
correction it didn't end with iron man and it's still going if you remember when he dies they have the funeral and i am pretty sure the final person on screen was captain america correct me if i am wrong and in fact the mcu didn't start with iron man so your comment is false and wrong and most definitely incorrect
milk Lemme clear this mess up, He meant phase 3 when the mcu started with iron man movie one, etc and ended with iron man saving the entire universe basically ending phase 3. Still a beautiful moment tho!
I was actually so emotional and confused at the same time in this scene, I could see that it's obvious he won't survive if he snaps and at the same time it was a great moment, I just wanted him to survive somehow and my inside was screaming what have you done marvel!!🥺
When Tony said, “And I.....Am..........”, I leapt out of my chair, grabbed the empty one in front of me, whispering to myself “”Say it. Say “Iron Man””. And when he did, I closed my eyes and smiled, knowing I just watched one of the most satisfying and perfect endings to a story I’ll ever see. It began with him saying (non-scripted mind you) “I am Iron Man”, it was only fitting that the saga should end with it.
Exactly how I felt. And the Russo brothers did not think to put in the line at that moment either. It was suggested by someone else and they had to re-shoot the ending because it was too perfect to leave out.
I was in the chair ahead of you, you ass-face. I was just slouched way down eating the last bits of my popcorn. You kept shaking my chair and now I have CTE. Control your emotions next time!!!
I literally said the same thing wtf we all love the same lives except when he said “I am Iron Man” I yelled at the top of my lungs and then he snapped it was truly an incredible experience that I’ll never forget
i like to think Strange played it like a dark souls boss, always retrying until getting one right, but at the same time for each attempt he says "this is the one"
@{Cashew} But they talked earlier about how only Hulk and maybe Thor could snap and survive. Also when Doctor Strange gave him the sign for the one outcome, Tony's expression was like a realization/ acceptance that he would die. The music went dead silent as well.
I knew he would die the second I saw the stones in his hand, and yet I couldn't help but cheer. That's how brilliant this movie is; even when I was pumping my fists in the air though I knew what would come next.
only time my theater cheered was when Cap used Mjolnir and when he said "Avengers, Assemble". The Mjolnir moment I think was involuntary, reflexive cheering because it was just so awesome and everyone wanted it to happen, and it did. I didn't mean to make noise it just flew out of my mouth. The Avengers Assemble was the one spot where we just agreed as a whole to cheer for the franchise itself and what it's meant to us. This is the only movie I've ever cheered in. All the emotion for that long and the visual and audio stimulus had my Adrenalin spiked like it was in fight or flight.
Thetreebehindyou it’s not normally, some people get really excited with big movies like this though. a big marvel movie or big star wars movie will always have someone screaming something, which is pretty annoying
I saw Infinity Wars in a Scottish theater near Edinburgh. As me and my friends (all of us italian) saw the scene with vision and Scarlet Witch in Edimburg we started cheering in awe, but the rest of the Scots in the room were utterly silent... I mean, your damn city is on a blockbuster and you feel no emotions? I did, even though I don't belong there!
It's amazing and heartbreaking that just as Tony realizes he needs to sacrifice himself he looks at Doctor Strange so that he can confirm that's indeed the 1 scenario in which they win.
It doesn't matter if the audience cheer loudly or not. You only get to experience this amount of cheering in the theaters. Once the movie is no longer shown in theaters, this kind of reaction can no longer be replicated so it is a privilege to be able to experience the movie with this kind of crowd. And besides, if you want a viewing with any cheering and whatnot, you could always watch the movie later on digital.
