Acorn Catapult, Aether Flash, Arc Spitter, Bullwhip, Caltrops, Circle of Flames, Close Quarters, Electropotence, Grapeshot Catapult, Heart-Piercer Bow, Kusari-Gama, Lightmine FIeld, Lothlórien Blade, Mangara's Equity, Nahiri's Machinations, Outpost Siege, Pathway Arrows, Powerstone Minefield, Purging Scythe, Pyrohemia, Raka Sanctuary, Relic Amulet, Sarkhan's Unsealing, Snow Fortress, Sword of Fire and Ice, Thornbite Staff, Torture Chamber, Unerring Sling, Viridian Longbow, Warstorm Surge, Where Ancients Tread, and Wolfhunter Quiver are all looking an awful lot like free-draw artifacts/enchantments that stick around. Some are obviously better than others. Magmatic Core, Outlaws' Merriment, Whirling Catapult, various pingers, and quite a smattering of Auras and/or "sac creatures to deal damage" cards can kinda work too. Dragon Cultist and Fall of Cair Andros are free token gen. Dingus Staff, FIendlash (with effects like Pyrohemia), and Repercussion are just hilarious.
When you brought up Goblins, it clicked with me that the first ability works on your own creatures. You can Earthquake your own board for 1 and draw a bajillion cards. It’s like Boros Aristocrats but if you cast Boros Charm first the creatures don’t even die.

My guy, you undersold how good Taii Wakeen's ability to amplify damage is. Don't even need to draw cards. Hellrider, Inferno Titan, End the Festivities, Purphoros, God of the Forge, Balefire Liege, Goblin Sharpshooter.... even fucking Desert becomes god tier.
@@sethb3090 Exactly, all of them will deal more damage, the card does not specify only once per turn so all the copy of grapeshot will deal additional damage
@@sethb3090The way the second ability is phrased, I don't believe you have to choose a single source. You activate it once and it just applies to anything and everything you control for the rest of the turn. Otherwise it would read something like "choose a spell or permanent you control."
I built this deck and my first game with it, my buddy was at 36, I had a triskelion with 3 counters, paid 11 into taii and dealt exactly 36. It's my favorite deck pretty much ever

Hey, I'm a Kyle, and I'm absolutely going to abuse this! Brash Taunter + Guilty Conscience + Rile (or insert your favorite 1 mana spell that pings Brash Taunter for 1) = draw your deck, kill everyone else
This card is insane. My friend built it and it draws so many cards. I also play it in my Kelsien pingers deck and it's the best role player in the deck for sure.
Ways I see to get unfair: - any set of 1/1 tokens + Pyrohemia - more life than your opponent + Pyrohemia and mana - any damage doubler, obviously - Electrickery to one sided boardwipe - Toralf, God of Thunder (boost his damage with Taii and the excess damage snowballs every time he hits something with less than X toughness) - Flame Spill
I saw this card and immediately wanted to make a ping deck. Red is known for their constant 1 damage pings for merely glancing your direction, imagine if it was say 5 damage instead? You’d be shocked to find that goblin barrage suddenly throws serrated goblins made of demon cores and mountain dew while the “strategy” is twice as hazardous to your health bar.
Hey now; she maybe spawn camping but any kill counts toward the board. Also, hidden in the 99 she's the treat no one knew they'd fear at the beginning of a match (myself included based on experiences thus far).
This is the first time I'm hearing of this commander, and seeing that the first line of text is symmetrical (On the Whose Creature part at least), and knowing that Boros is 1/1 city, I think I might just have a new favorite commander. Who knew that after Boros Tax Fraud (Quintorius, Loremaster) we'd get Boros Aristocrats?
Saw this deck in action a couple nights ago. We were finally getting used to the fact that mana dorks were just easy card draw for the wakeen player when they supercharged a Fiery Confluence and nuked everyone. Whole table was like "well... shit".😂
@@Ninjamanhammer oh, it only nets you one card, but since you can make it target itself with the damage redirection, it will deal one extra damage to itself everytime you do it, making it an infinite single target damage combo.
It's very funny how I built a deck around Boone when the Fallout decks were released, and like a week later they revealed *another* Boros Sniper commander. Who is arguably much better than Boone.
Taii with Pyrohemia sounds like it'll go hard as fuck. Especially if you put a darksteel/mythril or a sword with pro-red on Taii. Especially since Taii DOESN'T CARE IF IT'S AN OPPONENT'S CREATURE YOU KILL OR NOT.
@@aaroneisenman6873 The pro red is just there to keep Tai from dying to pyrohemia, so ya know, the pyro stays on the board. You will still get crazy value out of it.

Okay well, turning every spell into a fireball is great, but especially any hit all creature spells like electrickery will draw crazy amounts and instant speed damage to players will carve off decent chunks of each player just before your turn starts.

tai is fucking /hillarious/ because suddenly a deckfull of 4 mana 1/1s with the measly text of "tap to deal 1 damage" becomes a fucking nightmare to deal with xD xD
hello again. once more i am asking for Jaxis, The Troublemaker. i'll see you in the next one. also, this is one of my main decks in MTGA Brawl, and i absolutely adore it. not the strongest deck out there, but oh my god is it fun to fire off buffed multi-pings, draw a dozen cards, and combo off the next turn with something like guttersnipe on the board.
So we have Immodane’s best friend here right? Single target burn amped up to the max with Taii. Add repercussions into the mix to spite their creature over your own tho. A well placed earthquake or molten disaster should do some good if you put some shield counters on your stuff tho
