Absolutely! I had the good fortune to live in a small town in China and my apartment overlooked a mountain with a pagoda on top. My kitchen had a great view to the temple. I used to cook, late at nights, with cold breeze and watching the gleaming lights in the distance. One of my favorite memories.
I don't remember the percentage of people living in cites, but they are awesome structure. I often wonder, I'm living in Paris very very dense city, as well as Bangkok, we are so close to thousands of people every day, we don't even know them, how often do we see the same unknown person twice like in a year. When we see all of these people, accessing the same goods and services, doing similar activities as yours, we can easily be disturbed and ask, am I so different from a person with the same age, same school, same city. A city have like an overall identity, but hopefully individuals are very different. You're videos on death, were really impactful for me, I saw them several times, and it helps me to restart with new beliefs, and finding meaning in mathematics. I feel now more happy, in my culture, death is a taboo, smth we don't really talk about, and having such an intimate perspective on it was really cool.
I am very happy to hear this. And your musings on cities are spot on. This line of thinking is actually was what inspired me to do a video on cities and their psychological implications.
The universe kind of says, whenever you put enouugh cohesive and organized energy and matter together for any period of time, it starts to kind of think for itself. Self preseveration, as the beginning of the self-awareness gig in the future. Stay tuned, indeed.

(had the same happen for not posting 3 months) I'm already surprised I got the notification to be honest, but maybe that's because I pressed the bell icon like sadly almost no one does..
