It's like Lost Ark, all over again. I no-lifed LA (~8hrs daily) for 3 months without paying a penny, with 3-4 alts funneling mats to my main and I was still not remotely close to the whales (ofc). Stopped playing it, and never gonna touch such a game again.
About your gemstore comment at approximately 34min. Devs don't make gemstore skins. Outside contractors create those. That also explains why they don't really fit the games aesthetics like earnable ingame skins the devs make.
Don’t forget about the new hotness of scamming - early access. Don’t even need to pretend to make the game, you just make promises you know you can’t keep, but it SOUNDS great. See something like pax dei - $80 or so for a gathering/crafting sim. But it’ll be good later! Maybe. Ish

@@wiziek I'm brand new to GW2, and it's been amazing so far!! But that in no way means it's for everyone. And that's perfectly fine. First response is 100% correct...fanboi-ing that hard, for anything, is cringe as can possibly be.
I have no evidence to back this up, but I believe the reason GW2 is doing so well financially despite not being as blatantly P2W, is because the game is good and people are spending money because they want to.
Hey, hey. Your Genshin Impact quota is both simultaneously underestimated and overestimated. Youre looking at 300$ to to 100% get the character. Now bear in mind this is not the full version of said character, this is only step 1 of 7. You need 6 more copies of them, so hey schmuck you better get to pulling the lever. So bad luck you’re looking at 2100$ to get a fully upgraded character. Now you want to FULLY max them? Well you’re gonna need the weapon now, start spinning buddy same price per 10. So you’re only looking at about 4000$ to finish a character assuming bad luck. And people wonder why I refuse to spend a dime on Hoyo games.
you see...at the moment when i would heard, that you can pay to progress faster, it would be a moment i'd stopped reacting/making video about that game. I would simply close tab, said "fuck you", im not gonna spend my time and channel to freely, indirectly promote you. You wont get any more coverage from me. Be the change you want to see.
Look. This game has p2w elements not gonna lie, it's true. BUT you don't have to pay any money and still be competitive in the game. There are Hard Caps that F2P players can reach without even playing more than a few hours everyday. Last thing the game has changed a lot and it's still changing NCsoft contrary to all beliefs have been easing down pay2win. But Force wouldn't know that since he hasn't played the game and uses outdated videos and sources. But don't trust me play it on release, it's free and you'll see it's pretty far away from bad.
