I'm so much younger than the generation that watched this show when it was new, and yet I watched it constantly as a kid and recognized most of these from the show. One of my favorite Jon quotes is: "THE ENTIRE HOUSE IS FILLED WITH YOGURT!" Iconic. Breathtaking, really.
I went to look at the VA's IMDb page and though he has voice acted a couple of other Garfield characters, he only ever worked in Garfield animations. wow.

Yup the reboots and re-imaginings don't even come close. For that one reboot, they had Garfield's mouth move most of the time he talked. As well as made Nermal just be a jerk, instead of sweet with a darkside.

I just realized, at 0:04 I remembered that raisins are toxic to cats and dogs, so John either was clueless of this fact, or was trying to kill Garfield and odie.
I would make Jon the voice claim for my OC because I can picture so many scenarios, BUT HIS VOICE IS TOO DEEP 😭 had to go with Sammy Lawrence instead 😔
