I arrive in San Lorenzo, Valle, to discover the southern region of Honduras. The 50,000 residents live off fishing, shrimp, curiles and other seafood that they take from the Pacific Sea. The city center has plenty of commerce, food stalls, nightlife, the largest seafood market in the country, and many characters, including a medicinal plant seller who is 105 years old. The heat of the south is dry and tremendous but we walk its streets to get to know every corner of the region together.
Thank you very much to Hotel Casa Vieja for hosting us.
