What you said at the end there is so true. At my biggest ever weight for a few years I remember all day everyday was just eating eating and more eating just to get the macros in each day, even worse was that I was being overly conservative with my macros as didn't know the numbers for everything back then so ended up eating way more than I needed. I was eating around 600-800g of carbs and 300g of protein a day, and this was whilst serving time in prison so all from very bland food lol
