I wholeheartedly relate with your HS experience, it was truly one of the worst experiences in my life, I had a lot of stuff going on at home and with myself. I also was extremely introverted and shy (I still am lol and it hasn’t changed) so I had no friends and would talk to absolutely no one. My experience was made even worse with my senior year being cut short by COVID in 2020. I do sometimes wish I could go back in time and do something different and right throughout high school.
Way back when my uncle taught us to mix cereals. I mixed cheerios, grape nuts, and rice crispies with sprinkle of sugar over the top. Sometimes Raisin Bran. My mom never bought sweet cereals 😂 love the nostalgia, Ben!
Yoooo these were my favorite in high-school as well. It's funny cause I never eat these anymore but a week ago I bought and ate a whole box just for kicks. Still love them!
that's what I love about cereal... it brings you back to some childhood memories. the one memory im reallyy fond of was... eating Cinnamon Toast Crunch with my brother watching Saturday morning cartoons. lol.
15-16, yes? I'm a lot older. I was sent to an all-boys grammar school when I was young, and it completely fcked me up. Life at your age is definitely NOT all about exam results/grades btw, despite what your parents or school might tell you. Obviously, if you wanna be a doctor, lawyer, vet or similar, then you're gonna need top grades to persue that path. But otherwise the most important thing IMO is developing your interpersonal skills, including with women (assuming you're a heterosexual male). IMHO, the happiness you're gonna get moving forward is gonna come from a longterm relationship with a partner you love, and also from your interactions with other people, especially your friends & family. If you learn to get good at interacting with people (incl women), I almost don't think it matters what grades you get at school, you'll still do well in life
@@garfield2193 Yes I am exactly what you described, 15 turning 16 in a month. Getting good grades has come easy to me but socializing not so much. I will push myself once school starts again to socialize more and get out of my shell, thanks to your advice.
@@BabaBooey084 Do you plan on going to university? If so, it's a great place to network, make tonnes more friends, socialize & develop your interpersonal skills. It's also a great place to meet women (assuming, like I said previously, you're a heterosexual male). Remember that "confidence" is just an act, a pretence. And note that people like talking about themselves, so just by asking a few questions & looking interested, they can do most of the legwork in conversation
@@garfield2193 Yes i’ll definitely be going to university and hopefully i’ll be better at talking to girls by then but i will certainly keep your advice in mind from now on
Here in my country they’re called Choco Krispies, and they had a brown Elephant as mascot in the box. It was and it still is the best cereal ever imo, I always love to prepare them with very cold milk, and the cold chocolate milk after eating the cereal is amazing.
@@ellaa These are rice krispies but chocolate flavoured. What am I thinking of? There's definitely chocolate flavoured cereal that's just round balls. That's what I remember Coco pops as but idk
I grew up in Aurora, which isn't too far from Lombard. Although my school system wasn't as bad as Lombard, still so cool hearing you talking about towns in Illinois that I know lol
Rice krispies is good. Not unhealthy either. It's literally not too sweet rice. But since it's dry, i could eat a whole box for breakfast lol, so i usually just eat them as a snack. They do get soggy hella quick tho.
Story time Ben is by far the best Ben. We watch these for the personalities not the food usually (I mean do I really need to see someone eat a bowl of cereal? No.) So the more you share your story the more engagement you will have imo
In the UK, I can confidently say that the "best" cereal for me is All-Bran (or cheaper supermarket-ownbrand All-Bran rip-offs). When I went to France I was eating soooomany baguettes. And, I can tell you for a fact, that baguettes make you VERY constipated. Maybe that's why the French are a bit uptight?? Anyway, I found a hypermarket that sold All-Bran, and it relieved a massive problem
Cereal and peanut butter easily make me gain weight. Good foods for someone who's underweight but for anyone who's dealt with over-weight issues, it might be best to avoid them.
