the pink yoshi in that riverside park match (15:45) was completely insane. waited until halfway through the last lap, popped a star for 2 shortcuts and then bulleted from ~5th to 2nd, nearly 1st.

Shout outs to Mario Kart Double Dash and Super Circuit, the only games in the series with a random button 😂

Fun fact: the Comet and Yoshi Bike have identical stats to the Teddy buggy, cat cruiser, etc. Due to the potential for tighter lines with inside drift, the only thing stopping people from doing well with it is needing to learn the new control style. Snakeing is a bit more difficult then with outside drift, but if you pull it off then it's actually faster due to the more forward angle of the boost. So essentially you are trading ease of use for a higher potential speed, which is especially usefull when front running. And noteable they also lead to the Off-Road tires being very good on 150cc. Grip has a HUGE effect on your turning radius when using inside drift. The difference is night and day with even just a single (1/5 aka 4/20) stat point difference. On some terrains it's the difference between needing to break drift and essentially drifting on a dime.

Do a challenge with the highest possible combo for every stat (speed, mini turbo, weight, etc.) to see what the most important stat is!

Whoever threw that bob-omb on the last lap at Super Bell Subway pretty much guaranteed the W for the player in first place. Smh.

Idea: play with the combos who get last place in the previous race. 2nd idea: you have to use shells aggressively.

I’ve got a funky build I’d like input on. Before funky was released i always chose big mii, city tripper(sugar scoot) button tires, and paper glider. And i swapped over to funky luckily he has the same stats as big mii. I do pretty good against 15k bro players but I’m not sure how it would hold up much higher.

Vehicle randomizer feature would be so good for casual players like me Before following closely to the meta, I had no clue what vehicle parts to choose and it was SO overwhelming, and I'm 100% sure I'm not alone

My friends and I did this by rolling dice for the row and column to pick the character and stopping at random points for the kart parts. Not only was that my first experience with an inside drift bike, one of my friends rolled 3 inside drift bikes in a row

That Cat Cruiser Monster Wheels Combo really looks satisfying and pretty viable. Sounded bad and looked bad until I saw it being used. I actually want to try that next. These Mario Kart Tubers always teaching me what to use when I want to play for fun! Yoshi is my favorite Mario character but still sometimes it's fun to switch it up :D

I think having a randomizer in Mario Kart 8 deluxe is very fun because you get to have lots of expierence with different cars. maybe you will even find your favorite car or just good cars to use too

Wave 6 is coming out December 12 just before Christmas obviously! They're going to announce GCN and Wii Rainbow Road followed by DS Airship Fortress and a brand new track! All that hype around Christmas will definitely entice everyone who's been on the fence about getting the booster course pass!!

Early November will be the release timeframe. Master Cycle is the worst inside drift vehicle alongside being the worst vehicle in the game. Jet Bike is 2nd worst.
