I wanted new upgraded parts for my ender 3 pro, so tried to make them myself! These DIY, homemade parts really didn't work out too well, but I definitely think I can do better, so I want to give this another shot some time. Hope you guys have a good one.✌

@@Jbearzy not yet, that's coming up in the spring. I wasn't sure on how I wanted to build it so I put it off until later

I’ve had success with holding the rod to be drilled in the drill press Chuck and then holding the drill in another Chuck bolted to the table, then using the quill to lower the rod onto the drill. It’s easier to align because you can use the drill bit in the top Chuck and then align the bottom Chuck to meet it, then put the bit in the bottom Chuck.

Great video. I like that you build parts from scrap and try to make that work. Not everybody can do that. I mean drilling a nail...huh...that's next level.

That was really awesome man, congrats on the build. Earned another sub. P.s the solder probably didn't take because of the oxide layer that forms within a minute. Can't wait to see what comes next
