In preparation for the upcoming 1k sub special I needed a way to blow large amounts of air, so I made my own centrifugal blower, in the shape of a turbo charger. It's fully 3d printed, and still a prototype. I'll be improving it in the future. Hope you guys have a good one.✌

Sorry for the late upload, getting this one done took a lot of trial and error, and learning. I'm going to improve this thing in the future, but for now I better get started on our 1000 subscriber special!

Hey so I just started on a journey to design and print one of theese. I've been doing some research and from what I understand. The impeller should be at least 70% smaller than the housing. Maybe this might fix your issue? Since i see that the tolerance between your housing and your impeller is super tight. I did verify by looking at pics and yeah there is a lot of space in those housings. Thank you so much for this video though! defintely going to be a huge help. I'll try and give you an update on how my project goes! Liked and Subscribed ;)

Love to see your channel growth! Remembering you still as a small boy...but now you remember me your father, who was always like a bit of Mac Gyver 😆 no, you're much better! Was kidding...I wish, I could be so easy like you talking and beeing in front of the camera 😅😅😅

Muy bueno el video, te hago una consulta, sabes a cuanto llega en presion de trabajo en la salida?

It's riding on the edge of the case. probably needs a more solid shaft held in place

Yeah it needed a lot of improvement

Centrifugal pumps will cavitate with improper back pressure due to the fast water flow. What are you using the blower for? - Tysen short gym guy ^.^

I figured it was something like that! It's for a forced air aluminum foundry, I'm working on the next part rn. It's good to hear from you, hope you're doing well my brother!

Lol looks like the vanes on your second impeller are backwards with respect to the outlet on the housing, no wonder it didn’t blow anything

how do you determine the the impeller blade design? i'm looking to have a very efficient form factor that way i can use less power, have something more compact, and generate a lot of static pressure through the eye/inlet. any advice would be awesome

I believe for lots of pressure you need high speed. From my own testing, the speed of the motor was more important than the exact geometry of the impeller. I suspect adjusting the geometry helps increase efficiency, but I haven't gotten to a point yet where I've tested that. Sorry for taking so long, I hope my answer is still relevant. Thanks!
