Nice shooting. Is that an Athlon 10-40 x 56 scope. That's what I have on my CZ 457 MTR. Nice scopes for the money. Also what ammo are you shooting?

Thank you very much and yes it is a Athlon 10-40 x 56. It really is a great scope for the money. For this match I was shooting RWS R50

I'm 60 years old and have thought of getti g into sport shooting for many years. However, the sport is way out my budget limits.

Depending on what style of sport shooting you want to get into. Silhouettes is a great place to start for the price point and also depending on how far you want to go with the sport

Thalidomide. Drug given to expecting mothers in late 50's and early 60's to treat morning sickness. As you can see, this resulted in many birth defects.

I couldn't get into competing with 22LR cos I'm depending on manufacturers' (someone else's) ammo.... who's to say it wasn't "their" fault 😂😂😂. I prefer center-fire cartridges where I can reload my own ammo, and if something doesn't shoot consistant, I have no one to blame but myself

Yes that's exactly right It has one of the biggest difficulties of 22lr is ammunition Inconsistency and unfortunately doesn't really matter if you buy cheap or expensive you still experience events outside of your control
