A 1970 Carona is the first family car I can remember. So many details are evocative - the key, the speedo, the headlights, the seats. Now I really want a bagged one! Beautiful, charming car.
My family had a 1970 Corona, when we lived in Hawaii. White, 4 door, auto. I never heard it run lol. We came back to the states before getting it going. It was whiter white than this one. It was pretty clean, as it was barely 10yrs old.
Fascinating. This car was the most common car in south korea before hyundai was a car manufacturer. Thats because the third gen corona was produced in japan and South korea by Shinjin motors. Sold in Korea as the shinjin corona. Typical taxis of the 1960s were coronas there. That was because shinjin motors had a government mandated monopoly of passenger car production before 1971. I am uncertain if any shinjin corona made its way out of korea or they were included in the toyota line up. Seeing that the only one shinjin corona I've seen was at a museum, it's probably a rare find it this corona was korea made.
@@Joshwaa___ I swapped to 3/8 cuz I thought 1/4 was too small and caused the problem...I much prefer 3/8 for durability and volume of air/speed Great work man, now go get a haircut 😂
Congrats on the hard work. It's come up a treat. I nerdishly lol'ed at about 8 and a half minutes in at the driving montage. Cool shots, but I know what a pain it is to set up the camera the car for each shot. Lol. Anyways, awesome!
I think it might look a little odd, would tuck loads more than the front and i feel it would look arse end down, and for this i think we would almost definitely need to change the wheels!
@@Joshwaa___ fair enough, maybe it shouldn't be completely level, but a little more drop in the rear wouldn't hurt. But hey, it's not my car and it looks good either way.
Nechápu jaký to má smysl tento nesmysl. Možná, že je auto lépe uzemněno, když leží na předním nosníku mápravy a ma výfuku. To tak bude ležet na mokré vozovce nebo i v bahně. Případně to bude lákat kdekoho k přeskočení nebo k naskočení na kapotu a víko kufru. K dokonalosti už jen chybí odříznout střechu a je z toho kabriolet. No a je po další Toyotě, neboť už je historicky bezcená. No jo mladí vynálezci a kutilové jsou nebezpečný druh, neboť nic pro ně není nemožné. Chudák auto, které se jim dostane do rukou. Je mi z toho smutno. 😭👎
