For those confused about how to fake checkpoints look at 9:33. you can see the checkpoints triggering before finishing. Therefore the small checkpoints are fake but there must be a really big checkpoint around the fake skybox to give the effect of a checkpoint and it's lined up so you get it before the finish line

I love how KAN already expects a cheese in all of Dapper tracks, yet he still finds a way to get him in shock out of confusion and amazement.

I did suspect something was up when there were about three minutes remaining when I fell off the road and heard a cp click whilst falling nowhere near the gates, but until it was explained during the post-match, I didn't understand how you had done it - I thought it was just a finish so you could skip everything after cp3. I should have brought it up during the race, but didn't think very much about it until dapper set the 10 second time, at which point it was to late to realize. But now I know exactly how it was done. Especially seeing the skybox flickering on Dapper's end, which is similar to the giant tunnel that failed to load for him when he stretched it out to a giant distance. I'm pretty sure the fake skybox was to hide the real CPs.

thanks to the video title i figured out what the trick was much earlier. I'm assuming the real checkpoint 2 and 3 are actually much bigger and outside the map but aligned to the fake ones, so you still cross them while getting to the finish.

Heckin' Bamboozle

You could make one with giant checkpoints that aren't hidden at all… have a slightly complex track with many paths, and you can see a grid of overlapping checkpoints in the distance, but because you're in the middle you can't see both sides of a checkpoint at the same time… so the puzzle is guessing where the checkpoints intersect the track, so you can try to find the shortest path that passes through them all. For added cheesiness, adverse camber abuse. Have a piece of track whose surface is almost parallel to one of the checkpoints, but it's slightly concave so that you only hit the cp if you're exactly in the middle of the track.

Dapper, you would have hated me on this one. As soon as I saw where the finish was in relation to the rest, I was like, I want to see what happens of you just turn and go straight for the finish. I would have exposed your cheese inside two minutes if I made it into your lobby. And now I really wish I had, because I would have really enjoyed the conversation between you and Kan if that had happened.

Someone do an evolution of the cheese video. Dapper keeps getting more and more elaborate and elegant as he refines his art.

When doing turns like that try to be in the middle and cut super short and stay straight as long as you can, do as little actual turning as possible, in those 180 turns go wide on the first corner and you can just cut through the second turn atleast if it's like every other car game racing physics should still apply
