They both want different things and are allowed to move on. People forget that Casey has seen more and more of what a strong woman Brett is throughout seasons 7 and 8. And Casey’s been there for her through her crisis’, the worst one being her biological mother dying. It’s understandable how they could fall for each other. I hate Gabby with Casey cuz she’s selfish as fuck
Another Dawsey shipper in denial, they don't know what true chemistry is. Even Jesse in some of his interviews wants his character Matt and sylvie to be together and he likes the slow burn of the relationship because it's more organic and real.
