“Have you heard about that hunter? The one who has never said its name” “People call her Peak Performance, She never gets damaged” “How does she do it...?” *Snowballs intensifies*
you mean the one that gets damaged he just ingores it restarts the quest and tries again this is far from a no damage run lol when he takes damage he should be starting completely over or you cant call it a no damage run. imagine if i said i would do something but if i dont do it just ignore that and we wil just say that i did lolol
@@petejones6827 Dude just straight up hating for no reason. Go watch some no damage runs of games that don't require hours of grinding or that were made so that every attack could be avoided. It's "technically" possible but it would take years of runs to do. So, if you feel like shit talking, go ahead and grind a "legit no damage run of mhw"❤.
@@AnAverageGamer18 at the end of the day you know im right and it bothers you no one cares about a non consecutive run whre you ignore the bad fights and act like they never happened the whole challenge of no damage runs are the fact that the challenge comes from doing it consecutively no one gives a shit if its not clearly by the majority of comments stating basically the same ideology that would be like saying speedrunners shuldnt have to do it all in one run just add up the best section times of allll the runs you hve ever done and count that as a speed run even though its not consecutive no competition or leaderboard would ever accept those terms as with enough time ANYONE CAN DO IT
@MissSaira literally me rn, hardcore hammer main in old gen but tried out LS in new gen, played with it till mid high rank but I felt something was lacking, went back to hammer and what do ya know? When in doubt, just bonk away your problems
I might not be able to do something like this, but at the very least i did learn three things. 1 - Shara is hilariously easy to kill with poison in a normal setting. 2 - Mountains seem to land on a lot of things when they fall down. And 3 - Mountains hurt when they fall on you. Great life lessons from TeamDarkSide.
Btw guys, to avoid this happening here 4:32 simply aim with your slinger to aim where you throw the snowballs. Also makes snowball fights way easier to manage, or harder, depending how you look at it.
@@Trlll personally I prefer the aesthetic of Rise, but World is objectively the best game graphically. Just listen to computers going full jet engine and you can tell its pretty intense.
I've watched this video three times in the past two weeks. I just keep coming back to it for that AMAZING display of hammer-based skill. I've recently gotten back into hammer (my Gen main!), so it makes me happy to see some hammer representation.
Just wanted to say it was ABSOLUTELY the right call to simply restart the quest rather than starting all over each time like the previous video. Great work! Still love the MHW:I content from time to time.
Technically his patience was tested more on base game because getting hit meant he started all over from the beginning. Besides checkpoints in the story he’d put for himself
Im glad you change the reset rule. Have to start again from few quest back is sick and i feel sorry for you. Im glad you beat it. Thank you for the content
Rise is a Child’s game compared to others. The only monsters I FEEL like he would have trouble with is probably Rampage quests like Ibushi, and if he includes the updated story, AM Narwa.
Damn it took me twice as long just to get to regular nergigante my first time, crazy how good you are man (and what good prep can do) just found you and already in love with your channel
Super impressive feat. Big kudos to you. Just one thing, in my opinion you didn’t need to avoid damage while farming items for the armours. The challenge was to beat the story without taking damage. Farming items is out of the story. But you’ve decided to keep damageless even in the farming. Much respect, mate!
I have watched these 2 videos way too often and believe it is why I got into Monster Hunter Rise some time later. I cannot say that I'd be able to do the same but your challenge was great inspiration for me. Thank you
Congrats on beating this challenge! I'm glad you chose to just reset the quest instead of having checkpoints in the story. Being able to just start the quest over seems so less agonizing and makes the challenge a lot less grindy
Tbh. He just makes it way more easier for himself. No more no less. 🤷🏻♂️ For me actually "no damage" means also not getting hit. So that he also used the mantles so excessive feels in this challenge, kinda like cheating to me! 🤷🏻♂️
@@EastsideBoyi It's still damn impressive tho, i don't think a lot of people have that amount of patience to try doing it, patience is also part of the challenge.. Also vitality mantle doesn't do much in most cases because he would still getting one-shot if he got attacked especially in early run, he even stated the lucky hard attack he survived was Namielle's floor electric attack, so in the end his dodging skill still became pivotal part of the run, wearing vitality mantle was mostly just to feel safe most of the time, he still rarely getting direct hits from the monsters compared to getting attacked by other bs like small monsters or environment dmg..
@@EastsideBoyi then don’t shit on the dude for making it easier on himself when he spent over 200 resets on this, if you won’t even dare to try it anyways.
"i thought this would be harder than base game, but hoh boy did i underestimate its difficulty" he went in with expectations of an extremely extreme challenge but even then was still an understatement.
That was probably the single best way to finish the challenge! Hah! Absolutely crazy run. I saw probably 20 hours or so broken up on twitch, but it was great to see it all stitched together so perfectly here on YT! Thank you!
I was yelling at my monitor while watching you World run...Just make it per quest! lol. I am glad you went that rout this time. I appreciate your skills, persistence and dedication brother!
i thought seeing speed runners in odyssey trying to do three captures was the edge of patience.... I though seeing people beat Pokemon with shiny only was as far as it got... But this.... THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS!!!! My most honest congratulations and respect to Chris, I actually think that this os one of the most amazing feats in the whole gaming history.
If you want the peak of patience, go check out The Happy Hob. That dude's done a load of no hit runs, the most impressive being all 5 soulsborne games back to back (with no checkpoints).
i remembered me and the guys playing freedom unite on PSP doing naked runs or just base iron stuff (just weapons). i miss those adhoc days :) thanks for making me remember why this game franchise is so awesome
