@@Harv-E with iceborne if your solo running duel blades without bombs, your a fool unless you claw flinchshot them into the nearest wall, sure you wont get the wakeup hit boost, but you'll get a easy wallbang and in some monsters 1000+ damage on a already weak monster.
I love how gunlance has three specific set ups that take several moves to prepare for, and then the last one is mostly just "Hit 'em in de head real hard."
I love how the hunting horn has two attacks that kill through sound waves and amplified decibels and the last one is the equivalent of hitting someone on the head with a tuba.
Something about seeing these attacks land the finishing blow on the World's Most Unfortunate Reptile makes them feel hundreds of times more brutal. Well done(?)!
It commemorates the sacrifices of all those "Great Jagras" out there for the benefit of gaming research that used to understand the mechanisms behind, in depth.. rip
Mad props to be big enough to get a sponsor! Proud of you guys and totally understand and support your decision! After all... more money, more content!!!
Don't say that dude, people are going to say shit because they don't want to get 10 seconds of a video with a skipable sponsor that support what they like to watch without even having to think about it
@@gamingindominus1049 The timestamp originally linked to a section of the Raid Shadow Legends sponsorship ad in the video. The sponsorship is gone now for some reason so the timestamp doesn’t have any value.
It never was a support weapon. Calling it one was a meme until World, where healer players in team shooters stopped sucking off their boyfriend and decided to play a mainstream game to seem cool.
Just a quick question, as a Gunlance main: why didn't you use the explosive burst? Is it because detonating all the shells at once doesn't qualify as a single attack? Or is just not possible to do fatal damage with it after purposefully missing the slam in the combo? Sorry if you've answered this already, but I couldn't find anything in the comments.
I feel like the damage numbers either should've been slowed down in the video or written down on screen for more information of what kind of damage to expect, otherwise it was a massive project and a great idea!
I'd say that sword and shield combo might still count as a one shot. Basically just ripping the blade out after you stab it, putting enough force in it to jump.
There is an especial long sword atack that maybe you didnt use, when you are sliding try to use R2 and the Hunter will do a giratory atack that deals a lot of damage
Missed a few hammer attacks that would also one-shot, silly nitpick ones like level 1 and 2 of jumping charged attack and funny enough the normal jumping smash, the unsatisfying 3rd and 4th hits of big bang attack which could hit by starting the attack on a small monster next to the jagras and turning as you attack so either the 3rd or 4th hit, and the sorely missed final hit of the aerial spinning bludgeon! Great vid either way, can't wait for more!
What about the SnS falling bash? I mean, it would of course require the same setup as the long sword helmsplitter with another monster slept nearby to jump off, but I thought that one actually had the highest single motion value out of all the SnS moves.
For the stormslinger set up, would running true critical element set with felyne heroic active work? I don't know if that last shot of the stormbolt using safijiva set actually had felyne heroic active since the last shot is the shot that drains you enough for the felyne heroic to activate, right? Correct me if I'm wrong...
Awesome video! What if you planted mega barrel bombs for Bow’s Lunging Melee Attack? Would that kill in it in one shot...would that count in this category?
So question about the assassins creed mantle for wake up hits. So I know that the monster can't have seen you to get the effect it gives. But in actual combat standards to a near dead sleeping monster, is there any way to get it so they haven't seen you to get the effect or is it kinda pointless?
I want to do that pactt Echo Wave fnisher. I have the Rasping Ballad, and aside from Atk Up XL and a Might Seed that gives my current set a raw of 1302, what else would I need to output such heavy damage on a sleeping monster? What set and buffs are you running in this video?
18:30 this is false. Waking up with the golfswing has been a thing since forever and it still works. You just turn so your left side faces away from the head, then do the combo.
@@xenonzyphr4066 As a Hammer main, I can confirm XD Although Bazel's tail is a treat (and much safer), same with Viper Kadachi's tail (God bless breakable tails)
I hope you mean some of that being the layered armour, otherwise that's absolutely not what it is. You wouldn't get Velkhana's set bonus with 1 piece of armour.
