@@dompHD You literally started a crusade against the most powerful creature at the galaxy using swords and plate armor, this is pretty much a crusader thing for me
There is something uniquely warm and calming in seeing a starbound video on youtube... This small little game definitely hit a couple strings of my soul, and it's atmosphere - well, it really feels like home. Brings me back a while - it was a great experience! Thank you for reminding me of that. And, well, thank you for being here - keep it up!
I have a couple of tips for you: A. You don't technically have to use bows and melee, you can use any weapon and there is no penalty other than no damage bonuses. B. Agility is very good to spec in early game since you should be maxing out momentum for 50% damage boost. It also fixes the problem with you being unable to manuver well. C. Solus Katana drops from grand pagoda library and is an upgrade to Violium Broadsword.
I had classic mode enabled, which basically negates all damage from any weapon that isn’t considered melee or a bow. I should’ve put that in the video, I must’ve forgot
violium broadsword does have a pretty good roll/dash ability which is very useful for the Knight class plus, the solus katana's right click ability can only be aimed downwards and requires you to jump to use it effectively, which is more difficult to do with the knight
@@multilk6399 8 months late. And if you point blank using the solus katana, all shots should hit regardless. In the late game movement speed debuffs don't matter because of 50 agility, unsure if domp did this though. The roll ability is alright, but not my personal favorite.
I recommend usage of Tougher Mobs + Ruin Overhaul if the vanilla bosses are feeling too easy or repetitive! Or perhaps, you seek a challenge? Galaxy In Conflict might be something to look forward to if you need ideas and you have the time! Overall, great video again! Edit: By the way, did you ever get to use a class specialization?
I have used specialization before, not on this particular playthrough though. And I have used that mod before, I’ve been debating on adding it. I added something that overhauled the bosses to another playthrough and I think that suffices but I can’t remember if it’s tougher mobs, or another mod entirely. Either way, future vids will definitely increase the difficulty :) Edit: I guess I already added that mod for future playthroughs :)
I'm probably not going to watch this whole video and scratch that I'm definitely not going to but I like Starbound so I'll like in a video or something
