Pirates in the Caribbean was actually a thing but they’ve put away with it for over 200 years and there’s a lot of history behind pirates in the Caribbean. It’s one of the reasons why there’s so many churches in Jamaica (history) also in port Antonio Jamaica is historical pirate site. True story not a fairy tale 🤗
@@Queen_Amenarina when pirates robbed and plundered those parts I suppose Jamaica was the hub, so as an atonement pirates built churches for what they looted. Not all the churches there today is from pirates but you get the idea as to the amount that was looted from Ja. Hence why historically Jamaica has the most churches in the world per square mile holding the Guinness book of records with 1600 churches.
That mini waterfall it’s known as dam to the locals so wherever you’re in the area just ask where is dam, it’s pretty easy to get to. The water was used to supply the old arrowroot factory with water for its big wheel that turned to grind the produce back in the 1800’s
