when you're in a relationship and your feelings faded long ago but you can't break up because you know they'll be heartbroken and you feel sorry for them
Just leave, the more you waste sitting around the more theyll have a "connection" with you and be more hurt, but theyll get over it eventually. Even if they dont (which i doubt) you are not responsible for that persons feelings.
She bets on them, knowing they're going to fail. She wants the sadness, she wants the disappointment for herself, intimately. In her mind, it means more if she's there with them through it.
My baby, my baby You're my baby, say it to me Baby, my baby Tell your baby that I'm your baby I bet on losing dogs I know they're losing and I pay for my place By the ring Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down I'll be there on their side I'm losing by their side Will you let me, baby Lose on losing dogs? I know they're losing and I pay for my place By the ring Where I'll be looking in their eyes when they're down I wanna feel it I bet on losing dogs I always want you when I'm finally fine How you'd be over me looking in my eyes when I come Someone to watch me die Someone to watch me die I bet on losing dogs
i thinks it’s because she keeps betting on her failing relationship to get better but because it’s awful, it always loses, like losing dogs (that’s just my interpretation though)
i heard from somewhere that in Japanese there's a term called "makeinu" which is a term for the losing person/team. It literally translates to "losing dog". I personally interpret the title to show how despite knowing that the person/relationship with that person is failing aka losing, she keeps going back to them/it and hopes that it going to get better aka win
