I’m a few years older than you and what I like is I find your channel relaxing and calming your voice is great and encouraging. You’re moving at the same pace I am and you’re doing a wonderful job ❤.
Hey Karen I think keeping your current RU-vid name is perfectly fine. One of the very first RU-vid person I follow, is named Crazy Lamp Lady, because she thrifted and loved finding, purchasing and reselling lamps on eBay. She has since, and fairly early on, thrifted many things other than lamps and she has not changed her name. I think a name is very nostalgic and we have just become accustomed to your name. You are and always will be a Mainer mom ❤

I figured out that you have to maintain your cleaning tools in order to make them last longer. I know when my vacuum isn't sucking properly that it's time to take it apart and clean it.
Don't go by your real name as it could possibly cause safety issues for you. I agree on this. The internet makes us all too easy to find. I feel like you are still This Mainer Mom as you are always a mom, I also love Mrs. Mainer as that can be fun. However, I know the cooking segments with Robin are also great and Yvon poppoing on here and there so I would say making something like Mrs. Mainer and Co or something like that you can find username genertaors online too to play with to give you ideas. If that helps. May come up with some kitchy ones like mainertogetherness or Kind DeMainer or Mainer Element or you could do something like This Mainer Wife I feel like wherever you go, Maine will always be a part of you and can be part of your branding. As you could be This Mainer Transplant if you move or something like that. Hope these help get your juices flowing.
Believe it or not we moved into a mobile home park in December and have the same surroundings as you do! Birds, chipmunks, bunnies, deer and even a bear! It’s like Heaven!
I would get a caddy for each person and let them know that nothing remains behind in the shower. It feels rude to me that the person who has 25 things left in the shower, when it's time to clean, makes more work than is necessary for the person cleaning. Or perhaps that person should be the one cleaning. They may begin to realize the effort it takes to remove everyones stuff. I like "This Mainer Mom". You are not old enough to be my mom, but you are quite intelligent enough. I also like learning things from other areas. This So Cal girl loves your channel.
I listen on either my laptop speakers or headphones and haven't noticed a difference in the sound quality. I like that you have Maine in your channel name. It got me watching as a former New Englander.

A nice motivational video today. With the sound volume I didn’t notice that much of a difference, but I preferred the sound in the laundry section. I watch you on my phone mostly without ear pods in. With regard to the pick up on your Dyson, the reason most don’t pick up as well is because people don’t wash the filters out once a month like they should or clean off the roller. Also I agree slower vacuuming does work better. As for the naming of your channel how about something along the lines of: “Creatively Karen” “The Seasonal Homemaker” “Homely Haven” “This Lively Life” “Slowing and Growing” These are all terms I think sum up what your channel stands for.

As to "rebranding" I like your thought of Mrs. Mainer, but I almost wonder if you need something that more closely reflects the current/future direction of your channel? Decluttering/"slow" cleaning/gardening/encouragement...hmm, how to wrap that all up in one title?!

Hi Karen in regards to rebranding of your channel I suggest something along the lines of simple slow living. I love your content it reminds me to slow down and take it easy, life doesn't need to be lived 100 miles an hour!! 🙂

I watch on my laptop using AirPods,the sound seemed richer but I’m happy whatever you decide. With the keto bread, I agree. It has way more fiber than regular bread, however, look at the ingredients and stay away from anywhere soy or soy flower is the primary ingredient as soy is a huge hormone disruptor and it can lead to estrogen dominance. Also, most companies do not use hi soy products. I haven't tried the Arnold, but Nature's own has one that is pretty good as well. I will look for Arnold. One of these may be available at Costco. I know Sam has nature's own and it saves you $2 a loaf and that is always great. also, it freezes super duper well. Also, you do you with nutrition. and eat what you want. Just providing knowledge I have learned from working with an RD along the way.

I worked in advertising, and I suggest you name your channel something related to your content. It would be easier for new subscribers that are like minded to find your channel when they're searching for a new video to watch.

If you're rebranding, stick with something about being located in Maine, but dont use your full name. I feel like that's a very NYC or European thing to do.
I know the food thing isnt easy. with me its be the affordability. i keep having buy not so diet food because i cant afford the better quaility. but i have maintained my 50lb loss. but still have a 100 to go. and just dealing with arthritis in all my joints. but for you, you have totally torn your knee tendon. if you keep letting weight creep you will be having knee replacement. and even with that, you still cant get on your knees. my cousin has had both done.its no fun. you are in my prayers. and if you 're craving sweets, you may be deficient in Chromium. it controls glucose & sugar.

Things change at a certain age as so does the way we live. Suddenly we look at ourselves and can't remember who we are or what we like because all our life has been put into the family perhaps. You're Karen, you're not only a mum, nor a wife, nor a Mainer, .. You're Karen, a whole person with loads of interests as an individual, in constant evolution and changes.. .. Look for that person in you that you identify with. Choose what makes you happy. xxx
