‘Back when I joined the corp we didn’t have any fancy schmancy tanks. We had sticks! Two sticks, and a rock for a whole platoon! And we had to share the rock!’

Combo of instrument making and musical talent. Well done. Yes the sounds of his innovative instruments are great. The bungy chord is more percussive than melodic but still awesome.
Where I'm from, they're mostly Largemouth, or Smallmouth. You're correct....this kind, I've never seen. Now, quit playing with it, and get it back in the water before it dies.
That sounds like the infomercial music in the background while the voiceover is telling you all the extras they'll throw in for free. Just 4 easy payments of 49.95 But wait theres more!
There was actually an instrument like this made 20 years ago by a little band called MOTOGRATER. Ivan Moody from ffdp first major band. They named the band after the instrument they created called the MOTOGRATER. Instead of having a bass player that's what they had.
I had just started watching this short when my game started. I had no time to shut this off, so I played a 3min round of said game while this played, on repeat, over and over . . . and, I'll br damned if it wasn't a pleasant listening experience! I dunno what it is but I could listen to this shit for a solid 10minutes, probably! Subscribed af!
God damn every third comment on this is just saying that the person that invented the instrument sucks at making instruments. I'd love to see the lot of you try and make an instrument that sounds better and have the same level of talent he does. The best you all could do is use your phone's keyboard noises to play teinkle twinkle little star, after changing the tap noise to the entirety of twinkle twinkle little star and holding down 1 key.
Nicholas is freaking amazing!! If you haven't, check out some of his live performances and if you like any avant-gard stuff he's got you covered in spades! All of his wind instruments are amazing, that guy can get the tone of a saxophone out of just about any kind of tube contraption! And he totally does look like Jason Momoa lol!
