Stop putting superstars series 1 cards in promo packs like backlash and promos and punches. If an event requires a certain card that said card should be in the card market

I played MyFaction in the last games and the costs this year is jacked up. The first pack available was like 2500 MFC the last 2 years, but this year, the first pack is almost 10000 MFC. And the token market cards got the same treatment. I believe the emerald rank token cards were like 5 each, but this year it is 25 each. And they are still doing the stupid Emerald vs Diamond events. MyFaction was fun to begin with each year, but it eventually ends up being a grind-fest with little reward. The Persona cards had me hyped up for MyFaction this year, but you cant get any of them without spending alot of real money. I'm fine with paying $5 or $10 for the persona cards or even grinding out an event to unlock it, but the event should not limit me to one particular card. A certain rank card, sure, but not "this one card" that you just released that sits in pack that costs 14000 MFC and there is no guarantee that you will even get a card from that pack series.

Jesse💪 I am right there with you it's impossible Persona Cards requirements. 2k expects us to pay 400 to 500 hundred dollars just to get 2 character attires. This is so FRUSTRATING 😤 Live Cards Requirements and MyFaction Points are ridiculously low!!! There's no way I can't continue MyFaction if they keep raising the stakes for the Persona Cards. This is crazy I am livid 😤😤😤 and I can't take it!!! The Hell with MyFaction!!!

I definitely agree, this year is the first year I’m actually getting into this myfaction game mode. I’ve enjoyed open packs without actually purchasing VC but as soon as I saw the persona cards and what it took to get them I knew for sure I’m definitely not spending money to get this. I’m knocking anyone who does but in my opinion I’m just not doing it especially when the new game comes out the servers shut down and everything gets wiped.

I had a similar experience with WWE 2K22. The reward for collecting all of the Summerslam cards was a cool-looking Bret Hart card that I wanted. After grinding for a few packs and not really getting far, I bought a ten pack of those cards for $50 and it still wasn't enough to get the card I wanted. After a couple months of additional grinding, I eventually got the card. Around a year later, the servers for WWE 2K22 were shut down so I cannot access anything anymore. The end, I guess.

My Faction is just a mode that isn't for me.

They are giving 750 MFP each for emeralds, sapphires, ruby and amethyst duplicates. But you get 2500 MFP for duplicate superstar series 1 gold

I'm not putting my hard earned money into personal cards. I've got nothing spent little money got nothing. I'm done with my faction and I've always got all content to pro wrestling games. I agree everything you said.

I feel like myfaction is turning into the " boy they saw you coming" mode

I understand there is a fan base for card games however they need to also understand that not everyone is into card games, they push so much into this mode and I honestly only ever see negative feed back on it so why even keep it around. At this point they should've just went the bad bunny route and had each attire for $5-$10

2K should gave us match types pack rewards more unlockables wrestlers weapons Pack Arena Pack just to keep ppl invested in the game if not we will spend our money on a different wrestling game trust !!!

Hi, really good video. The duplicate value is an issue for punches and promos, because even if you get a duplicate Ruby / Amethyst you only get 750MFP, where as for the beast / soul providers ruby duplicates were giving comfortably over 10,000 each.

I had that undertaker for a while you have to by the deluxe packs instead of basic packs I think

I’m never spending actual money on this type of stuff. I will only buy the dlc, and even with that, I’m very selective. I have more important things to spend my money on. I’m with you, it’s not worth it.

I've played this mode for the last few years and they really just can't stop shooting themselves in the foot with this garbage. This is the way I explain it to most people and this is just using the Punches and Promos pack for this example as it's up on the screen. To get a deluxe pack at 19800 MFP, if you get an average of 250 MFP per match, it's going to take you almost 80 matches for a single deluxe pack and you had crap odds to begin with in past years and now this year, they are including all the bronze and silver cards in these packs instead of keeping them with the first packs released, which aren't even available to buy this year. So you have even a smaller chance to get this 1 card you're looking for in an even larger stack of garbage than you have in years past and the prices for the packs have stayed roughly the same and you still get crap payouts from matches. I've also heard on Reddit that they decreased the payouts for duplicates this year in one of the recent patches. Then you also have the incredibly overpriced Card Market and Token Market. Last year was 3 tokens for an emerald, this year is 25 I believe. I know Ruby is 100, which again, if you're doing the daily challenges you get rewarded with 3 tokens, so you're looking at 2 weeks to a month to unlock a single ruby card, if you also get the token payouts from events or towers. 1 card in 2 weeks to a month and you have to unlock 8(?) to move onto the next tier, whenever that's released. First year of MyFaction, they put the card market and the original Faction Wars out there at release or shortly after, and now they have this slow drip method with no rhyme or reason when new content/cards as far as Faction Wars or Token market will drop. MyFaction is unfortunately the only mode I play in these games as Universe Mode has been broken for years and MyGM just doesn't interest me with it limitations. I'll spend maybe an hour or two at most during the week with this game cause the mode isn't all that engaging outside of the weekly towers reset on Monday and then you got some Live Events. I don't know why they keep putting this crap out the way they do. I'm a free to play MUT player and that kept me around for quite some time. They could copy that or FIFA/FC Ultimate Team or even use their own NBA 2k series and piggyback off that, but no. We get this crap instead and I find it hilarious when people say that the mode is killing the game and it's all that 2k is interested in. Trust me, MyFaction really doesn't get that much attention and/or care from 2k.

My faction rank and quick play is impossible to play. It keeps kicking you out and saying something about returning sideplates. Been playing since lunch and haven’t been able to play one game online And the funny thing is it says I have two wins 13 losses and 15 total matches

The biggest issue is they'll see people spending this much trying to get these cards (experiment or not) and they'll think they got a hit. Despite the community saying the exact opposite online. 2K is tone deaf just like EA and they'll continue to rip his off. Everyone has to stop playing these modes if we want our games to get any better but unfortunately that'll never happen. I've seen the dude that spent $400 to get the cards and Smacktalks tried and at the rate he was going he said it would have taken more than that for him. Someone on twitch spent $1000... It's ridiculous because they could just sell these cards to us for $5 but instead decided to bankrupt people just for a character model that you can't even edit. Major L on 2K.

I just spent a whole damn night grinding just to get the Ruby Trish Stratus FW Boss card and I'm already burned out. The thought of how much effort it'll take just to get the persona cards is depressing me... I think I'll stick to community creations and not bother with them. I refuse to pay real money. I already have some awesome 2024 Rock edits anyway... That said, I still find some fun in the mode. Just wish it wasn't such a grind and that using real money wasn't such a waste. You're right, though. I can totally see this silly digital card collecting game causing very real gambling problems. No different to the slot machines and other freemium games; there's a video here on RU-vid about a Japanese guy who spent $70,000 on Fate Grand Order. 2K is hella scummy for pushing such things and risking more people ending up like that, especially with how they heavily market to kids.

I can't get into my faction. My brain says it's a rip-off. I also have time restraints and want to play when I want to play. Not when is dictated to me. I went all out (no pun intended) and got the mania edition. If I'm buying the top edition, give me everything. It saddens me for some people. As I know 100÷ bucks is a lot to shell out on a game, and then they have to pay more to get locked characters.

My Friend has been playing for quite some time and this year because he was obsessed over Roman reigns and the rock persona cards. He spent $1000 and when I found out. And we went somewhere to eat a pretended like he lost his wallet I told him to immediately cancel his credit card Hoping that when he gets back in a couple weeks, this will be over and by then his wife will be able to talk him out of doing this stuff And he hates me for oh well

Yeah when i saw the price of the higher teir cards i was out .... i think i put around 10 hours in and all i earned was 25k .... most of the higher teir cards are 50 to 70k .... so looking at 40 bucks to buy a persona card in real world money or i grind for 30 hours for 1 card ... ill pass

There's nothing redeemable about this mode. It would make more sense and probably be more fun if it wasn't actual turn base card game like magic the gathering. I'm not too sure why people are excited about unlocking a card of a wrestler they can play in any other mode of the game. Is it just me is it because I'm older and I lived through a time where all the smackDown and SVR games were great until 2K got a hold of the franchise?

Every card required to get umaga has been available before the time for the event has ran out. the game is easily grindable you just have to put the time in persona rock will be free to get. it just takes time the only persona card that is currently locked behind a countdown is manbun Roman, yes the newest set has been a disaster just based of the mfp dupe giving 750 instead of 7.5k- 22k please educate yourself on ultimate team structures before complaining. thanks
