I'm a simple man, just get rid of MyFaction and put all their effort into fixing universe mode.

Better selling would hook me back in. Wrestlers not getting right back up after a big move, I wanna see some limp body animation after being beat down and actually selling limb damage.

1. Get Rid of My Faction 2. Fix the Lighting Presentations and Pyros 3. ADD TOURNAMENTS TO UNIVERSE MODE 4. Overall fix to Universe 5. Fix the entrance creation suite

The animations in the old games like HCTP and SVR were so perfect. Every wrestler felt unique, with crisp, snappy gameplay. Why cant we just have a modern version of that?

1. Wrestling games mentioned in this video had the little things right. 2. They paid attention to detail. 3. It felt like you were using the actual wrestlers you chose. (In 2k, the rock still doesn't have his signature stomps) 4. Better game modes. Like road to wrestlemania and season mode. Along with create a ppv. 5. Universe mode offered surprises and branching storylines involving 3 superstars. 6. Controls were simple and effective 7. Impact of moves was satisfying 8. The devs felt like they were genuine wrestling fans themselves. Not just guys hired to make a wrestling game.

I hope they bring back the weapon physics from Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 2K games are lacking heavily in that department.

I might be an outlier here, but the thing that made Here Comes the Pain my favorite wrestling game of all time was how it could go from being a simple wrestling game to something completely outlandish. Dragging people while riding a motorcycle, hitting an elbow drop from a helicopter or tossing someone off the top of the SmackDown hotel.

Honestly the only thing that would honestly hook me to 2k25 if they just change universe all together new layout new cutscenes, better rival system and , make the the ppv on the calendar right. It’s always out of order.

Once they bring back TLC physics & fix Cell Matches, all joy will be restored

1. Focus on the in-ring gameplay (Mini games like we seen in SvR 2006, No combo system, and I always advocated for a “spot” system where you can do a certain criteria picked before the match and a cutscene/dramatic moment is played out to add dimension to the match. Think about some of the cool scenes in showcase mode but in an actual match you’re playing to tell stories in the ring) 2. Focus on Universe Mode. This can be massive and they have yet to put the effort in. 3. Remove MyFaction. 4. Audio overhaul. The crowd needs to sound better, hits sound better, and the commentary. 5. More match customization options. Still feels limited. 6. Selling damage

For WWE 2K25 I want them to revamp the crowd & make the crowd sound more lively gradually as the wrestler makes there way to the ring. Make Theme Songs louder too

I’m a content creator so universe mode is my bread and butter but I can’t make the universe mode I want with all these problems going on.

they should expand on the character creation options like removing wrestler logos from cool looking WWE items so that it can work with CAWS. also it'd be cool if referees were improved cause they mostly just stand there the whole match and dont care if you're doing illegal moves on the ropes/corner.

I still play WWE 2k19. Sometimes I let the CPU fight and they dodge moves by just moving out the way no mortal Kombat button games

Chain wrestling, one button reversal I’m so sick of the guessing which button hit the five count for the rope break and better selling animation like when you work over a body part like the arm or leg holding their arm or can’t run as fast or limping throughout the match better interaction with the environment like the ring post i use it to work over the arm or leg like it was in a older SmackDown game. I can’t remember which game and make it hard to reverse moves as the match goes on or if u take alot damage is harder for you to reverse

I just want those old weapons physics back where you can slam someone on to steps or a ladder. And better heel-ish behavior. Like I would really love playing as Triple H if there were more actions we could take as a heel.

24 will be my last game, until they go back to 14 controls. I'm making sure I download 100 caws to keep me busy for long time

Personally I think the days of WWE games being good are gone and not coming back. The people at 2K made up their minds with what they’re going to do with it because WWE is a big brand they’re gonna coast until their contract is up WWE will probably sign with them again and they’ll be back to coasting. They don’t care what you and I think they may pretend to hear you and add in very minuscule additions but the state the current game is in is enough for them they fool people into buying it every year monetizing their trash myfaction mode and off to the next game they could careless about what you want and its not just WWE there’s many established game series that don’t care it’s all about monetization the art and the heart behind video games is long gone and for the most part only lives in indie games these days. 2K19 was the last true wrestling game by WWE that played great didn’t try to gouge your wallet and hardly ever crashed and was loaded with features and unlockables it was taking steps forward only for VC to fall and take many steps back like honestly how can it be this bad and so many people, so many people swipe it under the rug? It’s all there is thats why and thats why 2K is gonna get away with taking your money and not be in any rush to put out anything of substance. This era will be an era people will never revisit trust me.

#HookMe2K25 A Road To Wrestlemania mode rather than MyRise. Something like we had when we could roam the backstage area and run-in on a random match if you weren't on the card. Excellent work my friend! I salute you and give you a standing "O"! Masterpiece!

I got an idea. 1: we should have a vehicle creator for ring entrance. 2: Also all the stories ever done in wwe should be yours to edit for universe mode, or at least all the stories ever done in their games should be to choose from. 3: also we should be able to type in our wrestling promos in ai text to voice...there's apps already for changing voice to a celeb, so that can be done now. 4: also mocap mode for creating our own moves...an option to put moves together in move creator. 5: also option to have all the ways of getting out of pin submission available, so we can pick our best system...or create our own. 6: To choose our own music for entrance & to choose the jukebox songs as well for our entrance music. 7: Better stuff for stage creator. Maybe have a online community library of loads of stuff for shows etc. To remove modes that we don't like...like that trading blows nee mode is awful I can't cope. I know what they were trying...but man all the time it gets boring an repetitive an you just let them win cause it's so boring.8: old promos like in the 80s style to choose or whatever. 9: An a home mode..so you can maybe walk around the city gta style an drive to work, an do a side quest game of being on the road going from city to city town to town. Staying in motels an whatever. Drive the cars you create, doing adverts & commercials. 10: also have the option to wear a belt in the ring with you. Also no more not being able to pick an outfit cause it's only for entrance...what's that about? Rant over! 😂 oh! Ps! Story creator mode! So you can just watch cause I prefer watching. U can do it like a film...recording u at home ect.

A deeper creative suite, 200 CAW spots. Show intros, promos, and for move to work properly. Bring back buried Alive and inferno match, revamp the ladder match back to 8 points instead of 5, that’s all off the top, it’s much more.

For the game actually feel like a wwe broadcast

I’m a simple man myself I just want a season mode like ones we had in the past, where in don’t have to be a Caw I just want to play as my favorite superstar and go through a season of what I see on tv, cause universe mode ain’t cutting it, great video man!

I miss being able to start a match with one wrestler having some damage already. I feel like it would add more to universe as backstage attacks would actually matter or having someone have multiple matches in one night. Rivalries need to be more than just wrestling the same person every week. Universe mode still needs a lot of love.

Something that would hook me is actually something 2K themselves have been discussing back in 2K23's development: Custom Story Towers. You know those story towers they had back in 2K Central? Give us the option to make new story towers with our own storylines. Actually... a "Custom Showcase" mode would also be a PERFECT way to replace the overdone 2K Showcase mode - now THAT would be good.

A better reversal system option like the SVR 07 reversal system or 2k14 reversal system. Also making there own weapon physics system like SVR 11. Being able to lean ladders and tables anywhere and stack tables. Take away all that dodging and blocking, it's not Fight Night or Mortal Kombat. Fix the servers and actually improve Universe mode. Aleast change the reversal system, also blocking/dodging and im hooked.

It will take so much for me to buy 2k25 after dumping so much money into 2k22, 2k23, and now 2k24. I've grown tired of the things removed from the game and the things added are fun for awhile, but also get old fast. Thus game needs so much more realism and interaction. It needs announcer interaction, crowd interaction, a bunch of areas past the guardrails to do battle, the ability to setup custom arenas with weapons surrounding it, I want Texas tornado, Earthquake, road warriors, Demolition, Rick Martel, Greg Valentine, Warlord, The Mountie, Sid, Beefcake, Duggan .. SICK OF ALL SAME LEGENDS. We only need 2 Hogans, 2 Stone Colds, 2 Cenas, 2 Takers, STOP GIVING US 5-10 VERSIONS OF EVERY LEGEND. Also .. what would be really really cool... a way to setup custom rosters according to the shows in real time so we can pick matches according to rosters. ALSO MAKE THE ROSTER GUYS EDITABLE WITHOUT USING A SAVE SLOT!!!

universe mode has the most potential that is the hook for me.the fact that they barely upgrade it is soooo stupid

They should bring back season mode, make GM mode similar to how it was back in the day and maybe merge it with universe mode. Get rid of My faction, My rise and Showcase.

Things that can make every 2K game better 1. Create a story and finisher 2. Ability to make your own custom show and Championship in my Gm as well as cutscenes for it 3. More interesting Gm cards such as a bankrupt feature that if you go below a certain number of fans or money your opposing brands can deliver a death blow card absorbing your brand much like the WWE WCW buyout and eliminating your from the competition 4. Different types of special referee matches 5. Inferno matches and or cinematic matches 6. Ability to create your own cutscenes and place in universe mode and multi man rivals and random wacky events like the match being changed last minute mystery partner mystery opponent random backstage attack and taking an opponents and Continuity in storylines for example Cody being saved by Randy from the Bloodline next week they shake hands 6. More wacky places to wrestle in a shower time square snow weather system would also help 7. Make a backstage area that can spill out into catering or on the beach a subway or even on a busy highway 8. A WCW or Ecw mode I’m so sick of showcase at this point just give us a look at different promotions, tie it back to WWE if you have to but just give the like five best stars from each promotion and while were added, add fully animated, cut scenes to the list as well no more of this copyright bull 8. The best tagline I could ever come up with is past present and future this is because I would like to see on Monday night wars similar to the attitude, Era mode from WWE 13, but from both sides as they go head to head, you don’t have to do all 83 weeks, but choose the best matches from the show and at the end or best episodes of both or if you want to you could take it in a different direction give us the decline of both promotions, which would be in 1995 before the war 9. I would like to see small details still such as if a wrestler gets busted open in the corner that turnbuckle pad will be stained or ringside area or blood being bred onto the commentators and crowd 10. Final one and this goes with selling give us a different cell animation we had the same one for years. For example, if a wrestler, Lance, directly on their arm, that arm will have scars and bruises or if the wrestler lands directly headfirst, they will be essentially knocked out blood you don’t have to go to Mick Foley level but ability to have weapons thrown down through the hole in the cell onto an opponents face and or ways to visually sell like scars bloody mouth black eyes or even bleed on the back or midsection to really self falling off the cell

Honestly, 2k should look back on the past games like 2k19, SVR 2011, and other great wrestling games and try to think, how could they make a wrestling game that does not need a combo system a blocking and dodging mechanic, a lock up then do a move, and that flashes every time someone does a move, including the red things when somebody hits a finisher or signature. To me, i say they should try to bring back the old controls from 2k19, try to reimplement the weapons physics, bring back certain OMG moments like actually breaking the barricade, chain wrestling, working holds, limb targeting, stamina system like in 2k15, fatigue, and how submissions looked back in 2k19. If 2k could try and implement any of that into 2k25, then maybe, just maybe, 2k25 can be the best game ever played.

The one thing I would do is bring back create a story mode. Then let people download the stories to use in their universe mode.

FIX Universe Mode!!! The crazy thing is, they tell you what is wrong, but it doesn't get fixed. I believe they need to start going in to a 3-5 year cycle for the game. Have yearly roster updates, they can still have their DLC's throughout the year, but have a major DLC each year, and actually take the time, or have the time to fix Universe Mode. Make a better GM mode. And the major DLC's can bring new match types ect. But this will give them the same platform for longer than 1 year and allow it to be fixed.

Add Pat Mcafee & Wade Barrett to commentary. It would feel it feel more real and immersive

5 star wrestling might be a parody wrestling game but they got the injury system down pretty damn good.

I think this is something that we’ve been saying since 2K15. Sometimes people in our group equated to getting older schedules getting busier, but I miss playing these games with my friends and just having fun. I hope that they can find the magic to keep people playing year round again.

Saturday Night SlamMasters , PowerMove Pro Wrestling & No Mercy are the Holy Trinity of FUN in my young and Teenage life. But in 2K 25 I at least want to use the ringside bell and bring back Inferno matches and leave the arena completely. And being able to climb the stage and grabbing things from the crowd.

I know some of ya’ll don’t like the mode but I feel like They should really put some effort into 2K showcases like they used to. Especially because A lot of people criticized this year’s showcase (me included).

they really have to go back to how the controls were for 2k19. they don't need all those moves in the game especially the combos, that's way too many. the game needs to be coded better, they should hold off on adding new features until they fix the issues the game is having. Like you said, bring back Chain wrestling etc, make wrestling games feel like wrestling games.

They need to bring back the old control scheme. If I want combos I'll play Fight Night or Mortal Kombat

2K25 needs to get rid of myFaction for sure. The developers and designers need to look back at past wrestling games and understand what made those games great, and then apply that into 2K25. Better lighting, more backstage areas (maybe even fight outside the arenas), make wrestling in the crowd space much better, improve mixed gender matches, etc. They need to get creative again. Also, I'm one who loves customization and attention to detail in video games. CAS is great, but there are some things that need improvement. Like in 2K24, some of the piercings for CAS look pretty bad and dull compared to the real and developer made superstars' piercings. I wish I could share a comparison picture on here. It's the small things like that have an impact. Create a finisher/signature should return, too. Overall, and this goes for all game developers/companies, stop rushing your products just to meet a deadline in order to "be ahead" of the competition. Really take your time and love what you're building because that goes a long way.

I personally think they should go back to the svr days with some road to wrestlemania storylines we have seen all showcase has to offer tbh and remove the combo stuff like its a fighting game erase my faction fix universe mode

All I want is a stable target system and servers that actually work. I have been in a online fed for over 10 years, and we can't even play online right now unless we use regular superstars. The freedom the creation suite gives me to make my own custom characters come to life is why I keep buying this game

Smackdown here comes the pain was definitely one of those ones.

There needs to be a marketplace instead of just auto burning dupe cards. Let the players choose whether if we want to burn cards or sell it on the marketplace. Marketplace can stay the same just give us the ability to sell or dupes similar to how MLB The Show has been doing it for years.

I just miss the awesome but simplicity of the Smackdown controls. Those games were just a fan’s dream.

Basically the moment THQ went bankrupt & 2K took over, wrestling games got ruined… Every single game that was made by THQ is better than any game that 2K has ever released…

One mode: Create A Story

One of the ps1 EA wcw games had an invisible wrestler option. You could also get the game to read out any name you entered for your entrance

As a fan who played from the nes days to snes, Sega, n64, ps1 and ps2... stopped playing after ps3 era games... all I ever wanted is here comes the pain move sets and animations and control set up as that was perfection... with modern graphics! A wwf roster and wcw roster from the late 90s to early 2000s... u would never need another wrestling game ever again!

Basically Out Of This List I Want 16 New Feutrues For Gameplay And 2 New Modes Than I'm Hooked

One thing they need to change is everytime they bring out a game, wrestlers seem to get new entrances, new outfits, and something seem to change about the belts, not only that, new feds kick off almost a week or 2 afterwards.

Oh great games you mentioned in the beginning. Have you ever played WCW versus the world. I think it was only on PS but damn it was pretty fun. There was like 40 or more wrestlers from all over the world . A handful from WCW/MWO, new Japan, all Japan, Mexico. It was a blast and I think it came out before WCW nitro. I don't recall but it might've also been a TQ game.

Great video bro!! I love wrestling and a non broken game would hook me. Adding promos, show intros, would be nice. And a patch that doesn't break the game.

Your buddy made great points actually having the game feel like a wrestling game with wrestling moves and wrestlers move like wrestlers and as much interaction as we can get would be awesome! And please make hell and a cell and cage matches and elimination chamber more interactive and up date then things those matches feel like they haven’t been updated in years! And why can’t we have a hell in a cell where we get out the ring and have all the controls as we do in the ring like can’t that be fixed?

It's the gameplay for me. I always go back to Def Jam FFNY, because it's challenging and really satisfying once you figure it out. 2K can add all the match types they want, but if a singles match isn't fun, who cares? Also, universe mode is lifeless which hurts replayability.

When they took out promos and chain wrestling, it felt like they went 10 steps back.. don’t know why they take things out of the game and expect us to pay… the rosters even get smaller.

I'd like a good my career mode with actual branching stories like Shut your mouth or Here comes the pain. Also while we are talking about stories, bring back road to wrestlemania and have voice lines and cut scenes for specific wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, LA knight, Dominik Mysterio and Fin Balor.

Love how you skipped over nearly the entire Smackdown VS Raw series. 06, 07, and 08 had a lot of fantastic additions to the series that started there.

I need a proper working universe mode to buy the next one. I’m tired of putting in lots of effort to ignore glitches that shouldn’t be there.

Since the main thing I play is universe, I won't buy 25 if Universe remains unchanged without major improvements. Not going to spend 70-100$ on a game if MyFaction is the main focus. MyFaction is just another super predatory model aiming to entice players to buy card packs. I don't think hardly anyone even plays that mode. But there are always some idiots out there who will sink money into modes like this. If I really need my wrestling fix I'll just keep playing 23. If they screw up again then for me it's an easy pass.

Actual fatigue shown and limb damage that matters would be nice. If they are going to have different types of referees, at least give them characteristics like one is too slow or too fast when counting. Squash matches were fun too.

Remove universe mode and all that my career stuff…bring back the simple gameplay mechanics, the ink level mode during ladder matches, have a standard road to wrestlemania mode where you become either a babyface or heel along the way. unlock entrances, title and wrestlers…get rid of dlc content. Overall make the action fast paced like 2k14

I want a universe mode with actual storylines with choices that go somewhere and lead to different scenarios. I'd like to see them incorporate a.i. voice technology into the games that will give us REAL promo capabilities.

I've bought every single WWE 2K game on PC, but I've had enough. I'm holding off on buying future installments until they bring back actual wrestling mechanics. They removed chain wrestling and rest holds, which are the two important mechanics that let you control the pace of a match. Without those two, every single match is just fast paced and leaves very little for in-ring storytelling.

They need to give each game an identity again, they easily could’ve made dlc introducing new wrestlemania matches we can play to unlock more characters and really make this game feel like the wrestlemania 40 edition game. 2k16 and 2k14 are considered the best 2k wwe games and they clearly stick to the their respective themes of 30 years of mania and attitude era respectively.

It’s just one thing I would like them to remove (besides MYFACTION) just get rid of or fix the grappling system so we don’t have to lock up every time we want to hit a move

I actually love the combat system in the new 2k games actually. Throwing combos and hitting a superstar with a wrestling move makes the gameplay so explosive but a few tweaks would be nice

Not just WWE but sports games in general should work like normal games. One big game with various updates and dlcs until the fans ask for a new game where you keep the stuff from the old game but then change the layout entirely and add major things that wasn’t possible in the past game (like how WarGames was)

Online mode… that’s all I need. Not only does it have less features than ever, it’s unplayable.

100% creative control i want to be able to edit areans entirely i want to edit everything about a CAW like you use to be able to in the older games. I want the the chain wrestling grapples like 2k14 had back in the game directional grapples flaming tables and weapons.superstar threads. Custom soundtrack. Tournament mode. Geez I could go on. Its nice to go above and beyond the TV product like they use to. It made the games a lot more interesting. CC in 2k24 is missing so much as well. Back in thr day you could type in any wrestlers name and almost get a 1 for 1 creation of somebody. Now I type in Hulk Hogan and I have to sift through 100 pages of CAWs that don't even match the #'s.

Just give us an updated roster on no mercy on the switch online service. That’s the answer.

Updated Universe mode with improved rivalry actions and the addition of promos would be great. Or at the very least, just fix current issues with universe mode. That's all most people are asking for.

For me after 2k19 and 20 the camera presentation altered . From 2k22 onward in spectator mode you can see the cameras showing wrestlers through the ropes instead of cameras regularly lifting above the ropes or zooming through them. I had this conversation with matt from assemble and he agreed. I talked to 2k support and they just ignored me. Out of the last three games wwe2k23 has the best lighting ,model construction and roster but there simply isnt enough to do in these games even without the presentation issues. The big problem is alot of younger players havnt seen the older games and 2k have had everything older than wwe2k23 removed from all digital stores. Servers stay on less than two years and 2k are slaves to roster cuts and are just seeing the next game as another cash cow. The wwe2k24 roster was badly cut down compared to wwe2k23 and there will be little change in wwe2k25 and little change from $80 and over 😢
