I do like the idea of a mystery box but unless there is a colour mood board, I find myself too picky about the colours I like (and dislike) to buy one and I don’t like the disappointment that may come with it, even when it’s a great deal . Plus my stash is big enough already 😂

I think the brights in the Leizu DK would be perfect for mittens - they'd be hard to lose, and those colours are beautiful in small doses (although I wouldn't want a whole sweater in colours that bright). If I was picking one from their website, though, I'd try the Journey Worsted because I've really loved the Targhee sock yarns I've tried in the past.

I love everything by Julie Asselin and her team. I got inspired by one of Julie’s posts to use Boucle for the colorwork in a Dreyma sweater by Jennifer Steingass. It’s soooooooo soft and silky!

Wow, that is a great mystery box! I love all the colors, even the bright red and blue I would make a Plaid Beanie with them colors. Never tried that boucle it looks so soft !! I love a bold colour pallet. I would love to win those yarns!!! I'm seeing a baby sweater out of them. I have been obsessed with making the Puerperium Cardigan, as I have 5 coworkers who where due between October 2022 and March of 2023. Also as a Canadian I appreciate that you mention the Canadian Price. So many times once you factor in the US exchange rate, things become priced out of range.

Hi, this is a gorgeous collection of yarn in the mystery box. I love the colors! I love muted colors for myself as well, but I do work with some bright colors for gifts. I just found your channel so I’m not sure what else you have reviewed. I’ll have to watch some more videos. I think this is a great mystery box review, though. Indie dyed mystery box seems amazing! I would love to see more of hand dyed mystery yarns and would love to see how they work up (eventually).

I love all of that box I would put it together to make a scarf with the red white and blue for the Fourth of July. I would use it for that making some thing and that’s pretty exciting to get a really nice yarn for half price. I’d love that you can pick the weight of yarn and I would go with fingering and sport weight because I have so much worsted weight I am wanting the thinner weight now😊

I love watch any RU-vid channel that reviews yarn. I makes me want to try out new yarns that I have never seen before. I love the colors of the yarns you received l. Good video. I feel like the amount of yarn included wasn't worth the price, even with the book, if paying close to 400.00. Although the yarn was really pretty, it's not very much yarn. At half the price of 200.00, I feel that's closer to the value. Anyway, thanks for showing us!

I love those colors! We’re Catholic, and my husband has a devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus/Divine Mercy. That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the colors together! I think I’d use them to make something special for him!!!

I'd use the blue for a painting bricks hat (like immediately) & the red maybe for the painting bricks mitts, would be an eclectic set but I'd wear the heck out of 'em🙂

I love these types of videos because it opens up new possibilities and yarns to add to my projects. My LYS is very limited and I don’t find much at my Big Box stores either. Yes, I love ALL of the colors! If I won the DK yarn I would probably use it for socks and gift them to a friend. Thanks for sharing!

This was a fun podcast. I'm not brave enough to buy a mystery box, afraid I wouldn't like the colors. It's funny that the two skeins you didn't like were my two favorite colors. They would make beautiful hats and mittens. I'd like to see you compare budget yarn vs expensive yarn especially the softness, drapability, bounce and stitch definition of each.

I’m always tempted by mystery boxes. But would need a color or mood board to actually commit to getting one. What’s the logic behind the organization of the skeins on the shelves behind you? I’m trying to figure it out, but it’s stumping me… The red and blue are gorgeous. Would look great as a colorwork something or other: scarf/cowl or yoke on a sweater.😊

Boucle yarns are in right now. I would knit the sophie scarf/shawl out of the red yarn. Red and blue are my favourite colours. Love to see what you'll do with the mini skeins - gorgeous colours.

I love yarn reviews, and all types of knitting and yarn content. All those skeins are beautiful. The two skeins are colors I gravitate towards. Right now I'm into making shawls and hats. I make a lot of shawls because I live in South Florida and we don't get much use out of winter hats, maybe a week to ten days all winter if we get cold enough cold fronts come down. So far this year I wore my hat three days. A shawl I can wear on cold days and if I need something extra on my shoulders outside or inside if the AC is too cold.
