I can’t believe it took me so long to stumble across this channel. My dedication to reading and study has only strengthened as the years go by and I always feel I am alone in my obsession as I have never met another soul so captured by learning. I travel to London every year to bask in museums to take notes and collect words. With books and museums and Landon’s splendid green spaces, I am home and need nothing else for months at a time. This man is so lucky to live there.

I think this was the video of yours that I have enjoyed the most. The forest, the trips to the bookshops, the quotes, the music…very well done! Please bring us more videos from the forest! I would definitely listen to your podcast, although video is my preferred format.

This video in the forest was really lovely! I feel encouraged to start reading M. Yourcenar right now. I love the idea of the new podcast. If you record them in advance, perhaps you can let us know from which books the paragraphs you are going to comment on in your next podcast are. Or you can let us pick some books from your reading list in ARTIDOTE? It could be fun! In any case, I like the idea to comment and discuss not the whole book but going deep into certain paragraphs. I am inspired to check out all of these books. Loved the change of scenery and the bird song in the background. A lovely video indeed. Regarding the podcast, I'm not a fan of podcasts in general but I'm 100% in on yours. Will definitely check it and a weekly dose seems perfect.

Can you make a video on how you are so well read. How you are able to retain so much information. It takes me a long time to absorb a book and I'm an avid reader. However I will often read a book multiple times... are there any tips?

For a second there, I thought I was getting a Daunt Book ad. Even better, it was your video. Nice to see you out in Nature. I haven't had any luck recording inside. Maybe being outside would let things flow better. I'm looking forward to reading Memoirs of Hadrian.
