Awesome rehab project. I personally have rehabbed 3 camp trailers. Its not easy but i know you and Ms Sarah can accomplish anything you want to. My ptayers are with Ms Sarah and her family. I hope her father is not suffering. Always remember you and miss sarah and the kids that if her dad goes to see the good lord he will aleays be with his family looking down and heeping you guys safe. Love all your viids. My wife loves your videos when your singing. She says you sound as good as a professional country singer. Always the gretest. Brant and you and beach bum and now brad are such a cool team. I wish someday i could meet you guys.
Sarah's family is in my prayers. It's going to be fun watching the progress you'll make on the camper and seeing the final video when you're done... priceless!
Gut it. Fix the frame and axles. Make sure to replace the entire floor with marine grade plywood that's sealed. Install insulation. Keep mocking up the interior until you agree on the setup. Awesome project 👌🏻
Prayers for Sara and the family, I just lost my mom back in September. So I feel for her, it's a really ruff ride to take. Remember death is only a transition and another journey.
You're not the only one when it comes to reservations about buying off the FB marketplace. That's why I like to bring a friend with me most of the time just in case.
So sorry to hear of Sarah's father. She is such a joy and I hate to think of her sad. In my prayers, you guys hang in there! I think the trailer wants to be named THE GUPPY.
Eugene has a new room!!!! Keeping Sarah in my prayers, I lost my Dad year before last and still miss him and I know she will need lots of love and support! Praying for traveling mercies and for the whole family Ron...Bless you brother
The camper is gonna be really cool when its done, the restoration process is gonna be great to watch. Ayo is doing a house boat restoration and I can't get enough of it. But that seems irrelevant right now, its supposed to be the best time of the year so it sucks what Sarah is going through. Hopefully all is well and I know I'll be sending big 🙏🙏 your guys's way.
Prayers for Sara's Dad and all of the family. Always hoping for the best outcome. Good luck with the project. If you haven't looked at new campers yet, I recommend you do. Some of them have really nice stuff. The Luan is light and that is why they use it. If it is in excellent shape, primer it and paint it. If it is in bad shape, rip it out and put new Luan up, then primer and paint. Taking it out will give you a good chance to see the bottom side of the roof and see what condition that is in.
Keeping Sara and her family in my thoughts and prayers. The camper looks like a really cool project Ron and I can’t wait to see how the restoration goes. Keep up the great work and content. Peace and love from the UK.
My trailer project was $5500 in cash. I’m always armed so never worry So happy with my project 2005 and 33’ and with only one small roof leak and some minor repairs needed. Ready to camp in a week
Nice project. Inexpensive curtains can be made from bedsheets. They can be easily washed when needed. My mom made some bedsheet curtains for our houseboat we had years ago. You can get whatever theme you want to use. Prayers for Sarah's family.
I've done a few camp trailer rehabs, from maki g them into bunk houses for hunting camp to full restores , a RV salvage place is a great place to buy parts to facilitate restorations. And even get ideas at times.
This is going to be a great series. Our best wishes to Sara and the whole family. I saw your post on Facebook and since I'm in Kentucky let me know if yall need anything
Love thisssss ! Excited to watch the journey, wish y’all would redo the bathroom was curious to see a new bathroom.. prayers for Sarah and the family 🙏🙏
First of all prayers for Sarah and the family, I know how hard it is to loose a parent as in the past 2 years me and my wife have lost both of our parents, so now for the camper congratulations on your alls new purchase and I'm sure by the time you all are done with it,it will be awesome. Will be following for updates.
My family still has 4 grandparents and I am the oldest of the lot. The generation before me has all passed. I was born in the middle of the baby boomer generation. Half have already passed and my turn will come soon. No, I still have control of my bowels and I still walk ok. My kids and grandkids will move forward as will cousins and nephews. It's very sad for me knowing how sad they are going to be when I pass.
Sorry ta here abought Sarah's troubles with her father . Prayers are with them . As far as rehab , $ 600 is a great price . Looks like things will go good fer ya . Nicer than a tent , safer ya know . Should be fun . Again my best too y'all . Tom Daytona Beach , FL. 2 , December 2021 .
That can be a center peace for a wedding party or something like that for pictures 📷just cuz it has some vintage look you all have fun prayers for Sarah and family
Prayers for the family. Coincidentally, my wife and I did this same type or project back in April. Unfortunately, I did not test out the water heater which had to be replaced. Problem is Atwood water heaters are near impossible to get. I had to replace it with a Suburban which required some PECS plumbing (new skill learned) and carpentry work (Skill level upgraded). Good luck on the project.
Make sure you keep it locked so Eugene doesn’t try to move in. If it has a ceiling heat and ac unit I would try to get it working and get rid of the window unit. It will be a better unit. My thoughts and prayers are with Sara and y’all’s family.
Our Prayers are certainly with all yaw! Been there myself in the past too. My thoughts on a name for your camper should include your whole family, maybe something like; RSLC or CLRS from all the family first names, Ron, Sara, Landon and Chase.
Praying for Sara and the whole family during this difficult time. Love the project and you sharing your life with us. Can't wait to see the progress. Stay safe. I'm going to think on the name for the camper but excited to read what others are saying.
When you're done the name will be the "money pit". The very first thing is to make sure it doesn't leak. Anywhere!!! Anything new will be destroyed if it leaks. Even if it doesn't leak now, do something to make sure it won't any time soon. Appliances. Make sure they work properly. Fridge, stove and hot and cold water. That should be all of the major things to worry about. Good luck!!!
Sorry if this is a duplicate response. My prayers for Sarah & family. Love your camper. I just closed our party equipment rental company. I probably have some items for your interior. If you’re in Tampa during the rehab contact me or before. You can have whatever you need. Let me know what you may need. That’s the least I can do. All of your happy videos make my day. Appreciate you guys. Thanks
Awesome! Look forward to seeing the camper restoration. Do yourself a favor and take it IMMEDIATELY to the closest shop and have them service the axle and bearings. Hate to see you stuck on the side of the road.
You and Sarah do what you have to do videos can wait family comes first I will be praying for you, your boys, Sarah and all her family. Reverend Ron.🙏🙏🙏
Hey Ron & Sarah! What about calling it “Rut-Ro”. Lol! Definitely looks like y’all have your work cut out for ya’! I love DIY videos so I’m looking forward this series! Stay safe! ~Jim~
