Congrats, Matt. Thanks for all the content, looking forward to the build. Really appreciate your no nonsense approach, candidness and transparency. For a dealership owner, you’re as unbiased as you can be.
Hey Matt, I was at the remodeling grand opening and could not help notice that you seemed very happy. Now I know why. Enjoy be safe and congratulations.
@@BeaverPelt66I don’t know about you but I’m enjoying the joy and happiness and getting rid of the grievances and divisiveness. Of course there’s always Turkey, Hungary and Russia for you!
that bike is just sik, so beautiful. especially love the front end Brembo brakes and that rotor, just nasty, i love it! well done sir, can't wait to see what you have coming!
I currently have 3 bikes. They are just too hard to part with! My favorite is my 2002 FLSTS, Heritage Softail Springer. Then I have a 2001 Road King Classic, but the one I ride the most is my 2015 CVO Street Glide, in the Ultraviolet Blue and Magma color. I love it! I bought it in 2020 from Chopper Gallery in Temecula, CA and had it shipped to me in New Mexico. Congratulations! I love your videos.
Hi matt . Congratulation to your new cvo bike . It looks absolutely outstanding . I love the paint job as well . Looking exiting forward for your review of the bike and all the trips you will do in the future . Always good and savely ride 🤙. Best regards .Tommy from Germany
Congrats Matt. Glad to hear you’re going with bars and a seat. Currently you resemble migilla gorilla on a tiny bike😮. I feel where you’re going with the mods. I too have zero interest in racing. So, I look forward to your mods. I’m also a long term SG guy. 10 years with the current one.
Nice man. Yea, haha my kids even commented that my bike is too small 🤣 I told them I just need to sit differently. I’ll always be a SG guy at heart. Thanks for the comment man.
Congrats on the new bike. You went the other direction with color huh? One thing I don’t like about it, honestly it’s ugly carbon fiber fenders. How cheap.
Sweet motor. I must admit I wasn't too sure about the carbon fibre but seeing yours in direct sun, it looks pretty good. The new fairing is so much better without the twin lamps, it looks really good. It's a whole lot of bike....enjoy!!!
Dead sexy Bruh, definitely my fav out of all your bikes!!!! ❤ Super slick and streamline 👌. Love the beginning of your clip, straight out of the box off the truck!🎉 Definite chronic congratulations is in order 🤟. You wheelie, I'm going to make a clip of you putting that bad ass biatch up?🤔😁🤨✊
Seriously 47 grand (in Europe) for a black motorcycle with ordinary stock mirrors. Oh I forgot, it does have a carbon fender….! Whatever happened to the CVO concept? Mr. Zeitz is going to far with his obvious money saving strategy.
Slow, heavy, can’t corner, can’t brake, not comfortable, can’t go off-road, bad on gas, terrible miles per tank range…. LOL😂🤣🤡 shoulda got a premium adventure bike or touring bike.
I can't wait to see what you do with this beautiful bike! Like you, I have always been an SG guy, but the re-design of the 24' RG meant I just had to make a change, so I traded in my 21' SG Special. I lost money on all the upgrades on my old bike, but I gained a tremendous amount on the new bike, including more power in the 117-inch motor, 12-inch TFT, redesigned fairing, and edgy lines! Got mine from Sacramento HD in the new Whiskey Fire!!
Congratulations on a beautiful bike looking forward to seeing what you do in the future with the mods and reviews. I just picked up the white one. I absolutely love it.
Hell yeah. Gonna be able to keep up with a Challenger soon. Just won’t have that top notch ride with a monoshock yet. Or an adjustable windshield. Just waiting for HD to upgrade those options so I can consider switching back to the brand I rode from my first bike till my first test ride of a base Challenger.
You mentioned about getting Kraus bars and risers why not some stuff from your buddies at thrashin supply seeing as how they are just around the corner from you and just seen a video that Adam sandoval has a new after market tuner for his roady, just some info for ya
Wicked scooter Matt. These 2024s are killer bikes, especially the Road Glides. I swapped over from the streetglide last year, and just got hooked on the 24s. Looking forward to what you do with the bike man. Enjoy the new scoot
Just curious, Matt, how long did it take you to talk the wife into this purchase and can you offer any advice to the poor souls that don’t have your sales abilities? Did she get a new Mercedes? 😂
🤣 you have to setup non-negotiables when you get married. Mine was, “ I’ll always ride, ride often, and buy bikes often”. If that’s a problem then this relationship isn’t going to work.
I bought a Klock werks and it was cool but too short. Couldn’t return it. Then I found Freedom Shields. You can try it and if you don’t remove the plastic wrap, you can exchange it or return it. Took two try’s but found the right size be for my 19 RG.
Can't wait to see how you build it out. I just put thrashing bars with high bend bars on mine and it feels great now. Love my 117", cant even imagine how awesome your motor feels
That's actually not right. On the cbr forum a guy shows when he breaks a motor in his way, and the factory way, races two bikes for a season then pulls the pistons, factory break in was all carboned up, and his way was spotless silver. They say first 20 miles 20 minutes is the most important to seat the rings etc, or it will cost you up to 30 % of your available power. Edit: that guy, at the time had built, and broken in over 300 race engines.
Killer bike, and great content as always. Love all your stuff. RU-vid did recommend Wild Hogs to me as the next video to watch after this one though, lol. Keep killing it.
Matt I bought the white one and change everything as well. Seat, floorboards, bars, king tour, relocation of the rear shocks, and windshield. I also kept the exhaust, but changed the baffles. Good luck
Congrats man! Looks great. Remember I recommended a year ago or so that you do a drawing so that one of your viewers takes a ride with the Laidlaw crew! Do it!
Congratulations and best of luck on the new Road Glide CVO ST. I'm stoked for you and the new content it will help you generate including the build series.
Definitely need taller bars and new seat moved back and chopped crash bars so you can put highway pegs to stretch your legs. I’m 6’9 and definitely feel you
Congratulations! Got mine over a month ago. Same color. Already swapped seat for 2 up and added sissy bar. Also ordered rinehart dbx 45 slipons PVD (same color and finish as headers of the ST). For now using Harley 12” windshield. Works great for me at 6’1”. I think I am done for now….for a week or two.
@@MattLaidlawI went with the Saddlemen Road Sofa (perforated leather with red stitching and logo. ) Looks great with red on the bike and really comfortable. They also make an extended seat version as well. I think you mentioned you are 6’6”… I first tried the new Harley switchback. I did not find it comfortable…just OK for short trips.
I do not have mine yet. I agree about the pipes look outstanding. You say it sounds great but others say it sounds like a 'vacuum cleaner'. Interesting if you can elaborate on the exhaust sound please.
Keep telling yourself that. The biggest problem is keeping the challenger running. The electrical issues have been a nightmare for owners on that bike. Cycleworld couldn’t even get a full first ride review in before it broke down on them. The values are just plummeting on those bikes. The fit and finish is just trash on the Indians.
