Introducing the Salty Glide.. or something like that, but here it is and it's AWESOME! I've been looking at the new 2024 Harley Davidson Street and Road Glides and really like the new bikes so we bought one!
Great bike! Just bought one myself, same color but black trim. If you’re interested in getting Apple Car Play to work without a headset, there is a workaround for that. Bluetooth adapter and USB-A to USB-C converter and you’re golden. Like $30, both on Amazon. Have fun!
I wasn’t too worried tried to get on the road before it was dark. Plus this way no one else has ridden the bike. 😁 Unless some of them maybe have fuel tanks at the store!? Not sure but they took good care of us!
Congrats.. I also have a 24 White Onyx Pearl Road Glide with chrome trim. That screen is what sold me. Getting up near 1000 miles. Still loving it. Great video.
That’s awesome! 🤘Agree the white is incredible in the sun and I actually like the way it looks with chrome more than black and it saved money! I’m challenging myself to try to get to 1000 asap had it three days so far and at 300 currently! Thanks for watching
I also got the white and chrome, except I got the Street Glide. There are a lot fewer than the white and black which is a good thing. Think you put more miles on your ride home than I have yet but I’m loving every chance I get to ride. Enjoy!
Congrats! Picked up a 24 White Street Glide with Black trim. Absolutely love my bike. Had trouble with the radio not working and now they didn’t even know the home link has to be flashed!
Thanks, congrats to you too. These bikes are awesome! I haven’t had any radio issues yet luckily but won’t be surprised if I run into something with it.
That’s crazy I just bought a 24 street glide and my dealer told me to stay under 3500 rpm and away from the cruise control for the first 500-1000 miles. They said to vary the speed and rpm don’t stay at a steady rpm for a long period during the break in period. Anyone ever heard of this before?
I was told the same thing. I didn’t use cruise coming back and made sure to vary throttle the entire way. Tried my best to stay under 3500 rpm but staying safe in and out of traffic was a bit more important at times but for the most part I did my best to do everything you mentioned while riding it back. Have 300 miles on it now and did the same thing on the other rides.
@@BuildTuneRace ok, just making sure they aren’t blowing smoke up my a$$. Because I didn’t have as long of a ride home as you, but would have made it much faster to take the freeway instead of the back roads.
