I Bought a '22 Camaro ZL1 

I came from a 3rd gen GT bolt on and e85 and this definitely impresses me every time I drive it!

What type of work do you do?

@@drodriguez1724 I use to run heavy equipment, then did factory work and am now a CAD technician for a 3D construction modeling company, but made good money selling my first house the beginning of this year

@@talalalmehaid3349 basically “hacking” the car but not really. You can change A/F ratios, timing, make changes to accommodate mods etc..

Oh most definitely not these cars are phenomenal! And it’ll be getting tuned for e40 sometime in the near future, I might do a lower pulley but spinning these superchargers without additional cooling can actually make you lose power since they heat soak really fast

Money was the big factor for me here, scooped it up for under 70k + basic mods, otherwise I was looking at built GTRs. GT500s are amazing cars but they’re too expensive imho, same as any C8 corvette

Based on the CTS-V and 5th gen ZL1 values, I 100% think it will increase for low mileage examples and retain for pretty much anything under 100k miles

I’ll look into it! The car does have PPF but not on the rear bumper lower part so I hadn’t thought of that!

The 10L80 is actually the SS transmission. The ZL1’s have the 10L90.

I tried to go after a built ‘19 GT350 manual, it was an amazing deal but sadly sold before I could get to it, they’re amazing cars but the ZL1 is definitely a great competitor at the price point

As far as I know it is stock engine and tune just has the corsa intake and exhaust, but I agree it sounds awesome! I got 25.6 on a 500 mile trip one way, but in the city I get around 12-15 😁

Correct it has “magnaride” suspension. I’m not too educated on the full extent of it but to my understanding: the suspension can have variable stiffness (dependent on drive mode but can be specifically set to one setting in vehicle controls as well) to help improve performance or comfort. The suspension takes data polls at an extremely fast rate in order to adjust shock dampening. That is the most I understand the technology so I hope it helps 😁

I mean it being an issue is relative, GTRs technically have small/narrow side mirrors but no one complains lmao I have no issue seeing where cars around me hence it’s not an issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

It was a certified pre owned at my local Chevy dealer with 7700 miles or so with the corsa intake and exhaust, I paid 68k before down payment (covered TTL out of pocket)

Yes it is! I had the plate on my mustang so I had it transferred, the camaro will be running on a e40 mix and tune in the near future since I now have HPTuners available to me
