I received a BS for Mother’s Day in 2022. I was beginning my weight loss journey. I use it weekly for meal prepping and love it! One year later, I attribute most of my success to my BS. I’m 70 lbs down and have exceeded my goal. It’s easy and fun to cook on!!!
I just got my Blackstone and love it so far. Learned how to clean it watching this video. I could see you as someone I would want to cook and have a beer with.
I just put the raw beef in a strainer and place it in the toilet bowl for 2 to 3 flushes. The swirling does such a good job that no detergent is needed.
Great video! Lighting, sound, etc! I have a black stone, and i love it. Makes cooking quick meals even quicker. They sell cups to put into that slot in the back to make cleaning easier. You just toss when full.
Got recommended this video randomly Really chill and relatable. PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON YOUR CURRENT GYM MEALS. I'm also trying to put on some weight in the gym
I thought i was the only one how the hell do you wash ground beef ? Without it retaining all that water? And please dont say cheese cloth because ima lose it
For ground meat I put flavored vinegar or pickle juice in during the seasoning process. If you have an Asian market near you they have a nice flavored vinegar called pinakurat.
Great video. I been using mine for 5+ years now. I recommend a few things for you: Blackstone silicone spatula mat (to rest ur tools on during use). Cuisinart food mover or Blackstones brand to get big portions of veggies and meat off the grill. and the Blackstone XL griddle press...has enough weight to push down all the meat and give everything an even sear.
I know this is 7 months late to say, but there is a way to ensure that your ground beef is "clean." You would have to ground your own beef cuts. An added quality step would be to buy large rough cuts and trim off all outer surfaces before grinding.
I work weeknights between noon-10p, home by 10:30. I’m eating dinner between 11-midnight. I totally understand making noise around the house during late hours but my neighbors are used to it.
This grill was one of the gift choices available to me for a service anniversary. I just chose it this morning. Even though it was “free” for me, it wound up costing me $150 for the top, silicon cover, seasoning mix, and a grill accessories set. I am so stoked, should be delivered, assembled and good to go in 7 to 10 days. Going to see if you have any recipes now.
I remember when I was living at home and doing night shift hours... I'd cook my dinner at like 2 am and my parents are like "you make us hungry while we're sleeping". 🤷♂
Have had my Blackstone for going on 3 weeks. I wish I had bought one long before now. I told my wife after using it for the first time.....What's a grill? 😂 Love my Blackstone! 😁
I got a pro series about 8 years ago. Open the box, add the wheels, if I remember correctly, Some how I loaded it in the truck the right way and slide it down to the floor. Then it was the griddle top and the top cover. All of 15 mins. It came with drawers and enclosed tank doors. Still rocking this thing. Need a new cover. It stays outside.
Hey sweety!! You don’t need to add more oil to cook the chicken more!! You have to flatten them with a hammer so that they cook evenly. Then you place them on the griddle. Muahh
Dude.. Great video, nice edits. Just picked up my Girlfriend a Blackstone griddle.. Watching videos to see how everyone is using theirs. That food looked so good... I'm on the same weird schedule as you.. I'd be outside washing my car, doing work around the house around 1am till 6am sometimes.. I really try to be sleeping by time the son comes up..
I was interested in the video because I’m thinking of getting a blackstone… But I hit like & subscribe because of you! your editing, humor and just overall vibe is excellent. Nice job on the video 😊
hey! I hope you make a video about your meal preps. Thinking of getting the griddle but just want to justify it by using it to cook a number of things.
Looks pretty good. I would have done about 5 rounds to season it though. Then, first thing you cook on it is one or two huge onions sliced up. The sulfur in the onions will help set the seasoning. Sounds crazy, but it works. A good idea with chicken breast is to slice them in half horizontally. One, it doubles what you get with thick breasts. Two, it takes half the time to cook them.
To season the griddle, apply a thin layer of oil and then wipe it off. THEN, heat the griddle UNTIL all the smoke is gone! Only then you kill the heat. Don't breath in the smoke. It could ruin your lungs in the long term.
Wash your ground beef? I've never heard of washing ground beef. Why did you clean the griddle between the ground beef/ turkey sausage? You mentioned needing more oil for the chicken, but you got rid of the oil you had when you cleaned the griddle before cooking the chicken. Scrap the solids from the ground beef away, and then utilize the oil from the beef to cook the chicken instead of re-seasoning the griddle.
What are you spraying on your gloves to prevent cross contamination? Half the reason I avoid cooking is washing my hands 20 times trying not to touch seasonings after raw meat
Do all the meat handling before you start touching the spices, if you need to flip a steak or something mid spicing then only use one hand to touch the meat. You can also just avoid touching the meat by mixing in the spices with some tongs and also using tongs to transfer them to the pan or whatever.
I have studied Thermodynamics and Bro has mo clue about heat flow. Its coming out more at the front because he went ahead and blocked the sides to ‘protect it from the winds’
Just bought a grill for the new house….. No you convinced me to by another! This time a Blackstone Griddle, to put next to the other regular grill…🤙🏻 Damn you…🤣🤣🤣
Love your cooking videos! What are your thoughts on the blackstone after owning it for 6 months? I’d imagine the cleanup kinda sucks and rust might be an issue.
I use my Blackstone like crazy I have a 28in it's been a lifesaver for me ever since my wife got pregnant because the smell of meat cooking makes her sick, so I've been making dinner on it every night, I even put pots on it to boil water.
Don't have 1 but want 1 now. I am starting back up on carnivore diet, so making lots of ground beef, eggs, bacon will be a breeze. Maybe I will add some chicken breasts, chicken thighs, and chicken wings plus fish.
When you said you do regular shit at weird times I died laughing because my wife says the same shit about me I be doing all my shit in the middle of the night
I had an ex that made me wash the ground beef one time...I was literally washing little bits of chunks of meat in a bowl with water and salt and lemon.... Now a days I just cook the meat to temperature. No need to wash
shouldnt that lid be mounted to the griddle so you just flip it up? like a regular gas grill? edit: nevermind found out that it sells with the lid you have and a mounted cover, different pricing
You don't need to wash your meat, unless you're getting it in a less developed country. Just cooking meat up to 155F will do it. Just make sure the chicken is allowed to sit at that temp for 1 min (don't cool it down immediately), and it will be fine.
You did not season that grill it’s suppose to be black like cast iron. You need a lot more coats. Please watch seasoning blackstone videos and try agian
