I love that you throw yourself on another E36 after another. Legendary 😂 I hate it when teenagers get their hands on a car like this, the old lady looks like she took great care of it. I hope you can restore it. Rooting for this project!
Congrats on getting another e36 !, I saw Chrisfix's video on his BMW failure and it was caused by a spun bearing which happens I think by the low oil pressure. That engine is even highly driven, and he says something that it is a common thing on those BMWs. He even applied a fix on that, I think you should check those videos out because they will help you as you are an E36 owner. Anyway Nice content brother ❤
Pop it in the body shop to straighten out everything. You can purchase items to replace the grill and such or leave it to the shop. I bet if you link to the car part finder, you'd find a used grill but myself id buy a set. The best place to find non rusted parts is Texas. Seriously, they will send it cheaper then buying local.
super happy you found this one and get to use what you learned on the last car, and that you saved it from ending up wrapped around a pole or with a blown engine at the hands of those teenagers. super excited to see how the car comes along, seems like this is such a perfect car for you also please wear those heart shades at the next event and show us lmao "fucking awesome" indeed
Nice! I'm really happy I found an E46 325ci this year with 2 previous owners and 102 000 km (63 000miles) all original :D. Going to keep it original, but may change to m-tech 2 kit and OEM m sport wheels!
Young skater homies sold you an e36-- nice! Appreciate the way you effortlessly articulate your ideas. I've learned a bit casually watching and am excited for when I can get my first car-- used, of course-- to have a crack at it!
Wow! That's a nice looking e36 convertible! Even with the good deal you got it for you can't beat it for the price with a little bit of work you cant get a much better made car for the money, they make very solid cars. A buddy recently just got an e36 convertible with the stick shift too. It basically is like yours and it needs work,it's an old car so stuff become brittle but a very well built car. Like yours,it runs good,it needs a few things,it's a fix upper, but when you fix the issues they are worth a pretty penny. We went for a drive and they are a nice driving machine, definitely one of the top built cars of all time. If you are looking for a quick sports car, these are not it for they are 300 pounds more than the coupe or sedan but you can give them some extra ponies. Perfect for a summer time cruiser,it's really about the driving exprience, how they make you feel when you get in and drive them, they put a smile on your face. Also these cars were made in Germany, you gotta figure they also make Mercedes,Porsche, etc, some of the greatest driving machines in the world are made in the same place, although I love lots of classic and US made automobiles too. Even today the brand is still making some really fast and good looking cars. New one's are nice but they are very expensive,so why get stuck paying on a new one that you may never afford to pay off, when you can own an older one that you can have just as much fun driving.
Haha I went from a 1995 318 sedan that I could never get to idle to years later I bought my daily, a 96 328ci manual at 79k miles, this video is great!
u never addressed the reason u disconnected the vert motor, i also have a 97 328i vert and bruh im currently facing the problems of a convertible and you’ll definitely be faced with them, just manual swap the auto top or your life will become a living hell and also dont use a drill to open the top latch use the allen key that comes in the toolbox
Very good car virtually could run forever if gonna take care of them and it will take care of you..this car is very reliable fun to drive back in the day this car was built like german tanks..
that leather is AMAZING, i have the same car from 98 and it's a silver exterior white interior and it's so crusty inside and all of the plastic has cracked. most recently, tons of coolant issues but a fun learning car since there are so many cheap parts available.
I recently bought fresh E36 power steering hoses and that same hose clamp was in the middle of the hose on the new part. It came with a separate worm gear clamp for the end of the hose. Not sure why they do that...
Nice bmw 328i .When you change the oil put in 10w60. The cause of the trunk leak could be the rear light seal. if you put m50b25 intake (with trotter body and intake pipe) on m52b28 engine you get extra 15+20hp. And I put a separate comment under the same comment, where you can get free information about BMW, where things go togethe. because the last time I posted a link, the comment was deleted
