Again huge thanks to Timm's Harley Davidson in Augusta, Ga for getting me on my first brand new Harley Davidson. Enjoy the final ride on my 19 Road King and the first ride of my new 24 Road Glide! #harleydavidson #motovlog #2024roadglide
I support your choice to buy it. 5k less almost, than the outgoing model. Liquid cooled heads. New fairing and body work. Led lights all around. Reworked suspension with more travel in the rear. Hell. Yes.
Thanks man, the headlight on the new bike is amazing! I ended up adjusting it up some after I bought it and it was even better visibility than this video shows!
Heard the nerves pulling out of the dealership! That was so familiar to me haha. I also pulled the trigger on bought the Road Glide, traded off a heritage. This is my 4th Harley, had a street glide before the heritage, heritage was awesome but missed the touring frame and all the ameneties of the faring. Waiting on it to be delivered next week so I can start bolting on parts while I wait for it to warm up here in Wisconsin. Congrats man, sharing your excitement!
Is that all you can say: oooh, wow, gaga, babble-babble . . . . ME TOO! I just got mine last week. I like it even more with a 10 in. recurve windshield now.. Congratulations!
Good for you. Rode my 19 Fat Bob for several years, my bride and i now both ride Road Glide 3's. Because as you said it, you only live once. Cheers Bud!!!
Thank you! Road Kings are great and I had a lot of amazing memories with my old one but you’re right Road Glide is a dream bike and thankful I got mine. Hopefully you’ll get yours someday soon!
Awesome dude, so happy for you. I almost pulled the trigger on a new 2023 ultra last year. Have a 2019 in wicked red / twisted cherry, for the last 2 years and finished customized it to my liking. So I couldn't' bring myself to trade it in yet. Maybe for a 125th anniversary version down the road - LOL
Thank you! Yeah its alittle hard to part with one that you've gotten all setup for yourself. Just don't test ride a new one and you'll be good haha. Ride safe!
Congratulations 👍 just came across your channel youtube said I might like to see it. You said new harley dealership? I'm on the other side of I 20 . Me and MrMcStache another youtuber. Going to Daytona. The Badgers from support bikers might be doing meetup. I Need to get over to Tim's HD it's last dealership I need for state of Georgia
Thanks for watching! Timms is moving to a new building anytime now, they’re just waiting on the it to be finished. I’m getting my Dayton plans figured out now.
Congrats on the new ride. I wish I could trade my 22 Road Glide Special in, but with the lower prices, I just can't justify taking the hit with the softer used market. Look forward to seeing what you do to it.
@@gropplife looking forward to your review and feedback with new bike! I am a passionate Road King lover / owner and interested to watch your experience and grow connection/ feeling with your new bike! Ride safe, have fun and wish you abundant blessings for everything wonderful!!
so how are you liking the bike? i have a 21 ultra stage 2 and debating on making the trade or not its mainly numbers. and seems like they can get me almost what im paying now on my bike
I'm really enjoying the bike I've got almost 400 miles on it so far. I'm very impressed by the quality of the ride with the new suspension and the I'm 6'3" but the new fairing still directs the air right over and around me. Very smooth power delivery even though I still haven't gone over 3500rpm. If you can the numbers work I think you'll really enjoy the bike as well.
@@gropplife yes I heard the speakers have like a 200watt amp connected to them now. I just upgraded speakers on my ultra becuase from factory they don’t have amp. But I also have legend rear suspension on mine as well and stage 2. If they would let me keep my suspension and exhaust I would prolly make the deal to be honest
@@CodyMcDonald89 I don’t know much about the speaker system in it yet I mainly use my Cardo. I guess you just gotta weight it all out and see what your dealership will do for you. Good luck!
Thank you! They did! I just wasn’t playing much attention because I was excited to go ride and I learn better messing around with it myself. The dealership was great!
There are some more shots of it other than pov in a couple of my newer videos. Plus I’m working on one now that has a lot footage of the bike itself. Thanks for watching!
I heard you can’t go over 100 mph on them. lol also you won’t be able to add a cam or anything like that on these new models. I would never buy one of them new models I’ll stick with my 21 street glide
I will agree that is a classic looking bike and if I could have afford to keep it and have both I would have but the road glide makes more sense for the type of riding I like to do.
I always wonder why is there a 500 mile break in rule on the Harley. When spending 30K on a bike I want to be able to enjoy 0 to 60 in 5 seconds right away - LOL
