Definitely think you need a trailer and tow car. And film going out and picking cars up. Having deal etc. And then scenarios like giving that guy his BMW back. You could of put the car in/on a trailer and taken it there. I know you drive back in the astra. But having a trailer means you can grab non runners etc. I think filming that part of the trade would be good.
If anyone’s uncertain about NAMA grading system by auctions. It’s a lottery. Can get a grade 1 ‘3’ and a 1 like a ‘4’. Then try and argue. Buy upto a 4 and they’re ok. I’ve had perfect grade 5s though. Never buy a U. Unclassified. Dog.
Recently sold my RSQ3 in the same colour! Lovely car and hope the new owner is happy with it, he sends me update pics as he modifies it. Happy someone who will look after it bought it. I talked to a performance car dealer who said the red colour was a harder sell as unpopular on Audi VW - I had to disagree as it's the RS colour and they are rarer! They offered me 7k under what I sold it for as a part ex... needless to say i wasn't impressed. Mine had the black pack and satin black rotors. it deffo wasn't popping like that tho aha
Going off those pops and bangs and the fact the OBD detector said it had a catalyst issue I’d say it’s defo got a decat/sports cat and then probably is tuned
I got the same fault on my pfl rs3. Believe it’s the cat, due to the crackles from stock. The EML will come back on after a while. It’s definitely had the secondary cats gutted out by the sounds of it.
Keep it silver and red. That popping and banging would do my head in by the way. Obviously been modded. Put it back to stock if you can. Otherwise it might be harder to move it on.
My wife had the same debadged but without the illegal tints and silly pops and bangs. She got rid because she was stick of people trying to race her and it attracted too much attention. I loved it though. She’s now happy in her Abarth 595c

It’s had a pop and bang map put on with the cat still in place and burnt through it or it’s decat but they haven’t turned it off in the map first is more likely though

Calv, I don’t know if you know this or if anyone here has made a comment on the Audi auto box, but when you want dynamic (sport) just pull the gear stick back instead of looking at the MMI screen. None of the other choices (comfort and eco) make much of a difference. Well not on my wife’s Audi it don’t, maybe it’s broken 🤷🤣 PS when the box is in sport mode, pull back the stick again and you’re back to drive (comfort)
If you need secondary cats and a stock silencer let me know 35k on them before I changed to a full supersprint unfortunately My rsq3 decided to go pop. 😂

The fact that a BCA grade 4 is considered not too bad makes me very concerned about buying any cars of Calvin. What standards are your showroom cars mate if a Grade 4 isn’t too bad? Come on. Sort it son. I like this channel haha

So the RS3 at 2mins 30.... Carvertical was showing it as a RS7....?? - so does the report for the "RSQ3"... were the reports shown for a couple of RS7 rather than the others?
It was 10800 but the auction fees took the final price to 11200. If the max bid was reached (11200) then the final price would have been 11600. Then add 200 delivery fees as well so he paid 11400 in total. Given that he was prepared to pay 11200, he has effectively got the auction fees for free and just paid only for delivery (if that makes sense) 👍🏼
Ergh get rid of the chavvy pops and bangs calv! It's not good for turbos either and other components..and the spacers too, audi make the best 4wd systems in the world, pretty sure some cheapo spacers won't improve it 😂
Stock exhaust but it's got decat or the cat is damaged by the sounds of the cold start. It's got a wank "stage 1" generic pops and bangs map, that's why the EML is on due to the catalyst fault code. If it's decated it really should be mapped to suit which switches off the cat monitoring.
