I've got one of these with a stage 1 remap and a ktec exhaust cup chassis with the recarco sears . It has 100k on it, i paid 6 grand for it and absolutely love it! B Road weapon!

They are really awesome cars, they handle really well. Just heavy on fuel when you step on it compared to like a Gti ect.. The RS held the Nurburgring record for hot hatches for long until the new Type R knocked it off, but I believe the new RS is back on top.

I had a clio sport and it was great fun on country lanes albeit a bit thirsty ....I’ve also had a few Cat cars and most of the time they were fine but when selling some people think back to the cut and shut days ...great video and good health to all car fans 👍🚗

Press the two square buttons on the multimedia stalk on the right of steering wheel at same time when the car is on.... opens up Renault Sport monitor. Scroll across with arrows on the back and change the pedal law. Turn traction off and changes the way it drives. Be interesting for you to drive a cup model with LSD and better suspension as standard, the cars come alive with a map and once taken on track I feel will change your opinion of the majority of hot hatches. I’ve had both the Astra H VXR and the Astra J VXR. The Renaultsport Megane is definitely streaks ahead of the Astra H, but I’m not sure it’s better than the Astra J. Both are very capable cars in the hot hatch segment, just comes down to personal preference. The Astra J is one of the best looking hot hatches of the last decade in my opinion though.....

I own a 265 and at least where I’m from (Australia) the value for money on these is ridiculous. They are little weapons with some mods (and stock for that matter) and are one of the funnest cars I’ve ever driven. Not to mention awesome styling inside and out. Love it and recommend it 👌

Would be interesting for you to test the latest astra vxr calvin. I so nearly bought the previous model to the latest vxr. The same as the blue one in this video. The one main thing that put me off was the throttle response it was way too aggressive and put me off buying it. Cheap switchgear as well with the indicator stuck on left all the time i was testing driving it lol. Blower knobs & other switches seemed very cheap & toyish not usual standard for vauxhall of old. it was totally standard and immaculate 2007 1 owner 64,000 with FSH. It also had a bad oil leak under the bonnet (not sure if coming from turbo) and 2 broken front springs strange. He wanted £3,500 then he said i through a curve ball in and i come down to £2500 but still did not end up buying it.

I call it same as you fella , saying you don't have all the knowledge which isn't always the most important thing because what information/ your opinion you do share shows honesty , and the fact your not being a car salesman your just giving your genuine opinion on the vehicles , it's all good and well saying the new golfR is fast that's standard , you give your opinion and what you experienced as a driver , golfR just example , I've only been watching the last couple months, think last was the high mileage range rover , black one , I've owned 3 categorised vehicles and as long as they've been repaired correctly and to good standard, when it's a 20k car and it's now 14k because it's had a little body damage. I see it as 6k saved plus it's just had fresh work done,

These are a track weapon not so good for everyday. All rounder you can't beat the focus st at similar price in my opinion for every day fun. Fn2 is one of the best buys at the moment though soild engine wicked handling and cheap for good examples

I have a Renault Clio 200 rs brilliant car.

These are way way better than a VXR which can't put it's power down, they're known to have a lot of understeer. The chassis in the Megane is on another level and has trick suspension with little to no torque steer. They've often been said to be the Porsche GT3 of hot hatches. To me VXR's are for boy racers and RS's are for enthusiast's hence why you see a lot of them on the Nurburgring.
