Thanks for sharing. I cant help but think this was a flood car that escaped being totaled out by Insurance. I am probably wrong, but the things you point out have me thinking this was a Flood Car at some point. If the price was right for you, then you got a winner! Everything seems to be fixable (Though expensive), Congrats!
Make sure your ac lines are holding pressure. The ac lines and condenser have many rubber seals that can fail and even the condenser can develop leaks. If there’s no pressure or refrigerant in the ac lines, the ac compressor will not come on.
My F10 M5s AC broke twice within two years of owning it. I also experienced several other issues, which resulted in $12000 of repairs. It was a BMW CPO, so at least I had that. Other than that, it was an enjoyable car to drive
Who gives a dam Man U still have two cars and not just any two monsters with over 300 horses a lot of men can’t do that but good for u this M5 is still a beast!!
My F10 M5 has curb-rash, AC works i did have to fill up the AC Gas, the compressor does not have issues, i think there is something weird with the blower since it starts making a weird sound if running over 2-3 hours. The Coolant low warning I had it too, a top up helped. My sunshade works however the gears are broken i need to replace it too! My front seats are not in great shape the rear ones look brand new. My car had a upper gasket leak in the oil pan i used that to lower the price for the car. Love to drive this car daily, Soo much fun amazing sound system with the B&O just crossed 115K miles on it. (Got it at 82.5K miles)
How has the m5 treated you now that you’ve had more time to put miles on it? I’m curious about getting an m5 with the same mileage, just worried about reliability
@@bobow1917 So before I got it, I did a PPI (pre purchase inspection) and the guys at the race shop told me the car has been treated as a car, so services done one time it was never treated like a baby so small scratches etc. mechanically it was fit hence I went for it as my budget at the time was less.
im gonna buy an F10 also however im very cautious there is a BMW exlusive dealer 15 minutes away , ill drive it there to let em check , the price is very weird and also the milage
did you sell your gorgeous 540i G30 and take an older M5 f10? Why did you make the switch? Which of the two do you recommend? Well I have the same question lol
No I did not sell the g30 , the f10 is a much more comfortable car in my opinion. Rides better and more compliant, hydraulic steering, and a big V8. I wanted something with more displacement and low end grunt.
I think I was looking into this car. I'm currently in the market to buy an F10 m5 as well. Was this from Car Lux dealership? How much did you buy it for?
You must have a LCI E92. Looking for an E92 M3 currently and I am only considering the LCI models with the CIC, since I have that in my F10 528i and I think that iDrive system stood the test of time well thus far.
