Nice finds guys, The elephant looks like it could be made from either quartz or marble. My niece has one made from marble that is smaller than the one you found, I bought it at a carboot sale for £5 about 12 years ago. To find out if something is real Ivory take a hot pin and push it in to the base, if it is real it will smell like burnt hair and old ivory looks yellowish in colour. Good luck with storage unit auctions.

Nice finds! Look more closely in that jewelry box... look UNDER the foam in what looks like an empty box. If it's something like diamond earrings, lots of people will store it under the foam so it doesn't fall out.

1st) That's a survival knife. Looks a lot like the ones you get at Harbor Freight for around 10 or 12 bucks. The stuff you found in the handle is pretty standard in all those knives. 2nd) The elephant looks like carved soapstone. The rest of that stuff looks a lot like African folk art souvenirs. My parents brought a whole bunch of that stuff home from a vacation when I was a kid. And 3rd) The cruelest thing to do to someone who leaves hateful comments is to ignore them. You gave them a 3 minute rant as a reward for their posts, so now they know they're getting to you and will do it even more. Don't give them the satisfaction. They're not worth it.

The knife is a tactical knife. In the storage compartment is usually: a compass, needle & thread, sometimes fishing line & hooks & water proof matches.

Whenever you have a ticking sound, make it work for the video by throwing up a countdown timer and explaining if the locker isn't cleared by the time the clock hits zero, KABOOM!!!! Locker blows up. Now its like the movie Speed in a storage locker.

The stuff in the knife hilt is standard survival fare. Matches in plastic came in a lot of older survival knives, not so much anymore.

That rectangular box with the outlets in t he back is a computer power center from Kensington you plug the different components into the back outlets then you can turn them off and on by pressing the button on the power center. Very confident when the windows is fails and you need to turn the cup off and on. You just press the button instead of finding the power cord to remove and reinsert the plug. It also provides surge protection and a few minutes to power down if the power goes out.

A lot of those cheap survival knives come with compass, small sewing kit, matches, and a compass. Geneva is cheap watches. Get them from flea market for about $30 a set.

So that elephant is ivory and that as well as the other 4 things you will want to take them to an antique shop for an appraisal but to give you an idea from my experience your looking at some money in them

Check and see if that painting glows under black light. If so it’s a kitschy 70s type thing and people do collect them. It’s basically an upscale version of a black light poster.

wood sculptures can be expensive (30-500+) but you need to go to an evaluator (pawn shops don't do it they undervalue it too little too nothing) it may cost you some money to get it evaluated... the wood they are made out of could tell you which or where the wood was grown and the carvers area location.

The Elephant is YELLOW JADE , It is hand carved..I've seen many green Jade.You may be thinking alabaster that you saw in the white color,ivory would not be heavy.It is the yellow Jade stone .I would have it checked the stones are checked by clarity ,color , graded like a diamond..Love you guys in PGH Pa...

a bit of steel wool will clean up the blade Of Your rusty knife ,then with a few drops of oil you to can get it back to moving properly and to protect the blade from further rust , with a cloth and one or two drops of oil just give the blade a wipe of oil leaving a thin coat of oil.
