J'ai loué cette remorque pour transporter une Goldwin de Lyon à Paris. Une facilité incroyable, alors que je ne suis pas habitué a charger ,décharger, remorquer.
Great trailer and great video. Those front straps look like they will scratch your paintwork once you have been driving for a bit though. Also, with a front wheel grab, you want to pull the bike forward into the grab, rather than downwards as you have the straps set up. Maybe try attaching the straps to the top of the crash bars and pull forward. Thanks for the content though. I like your style.
Thx bud! Yeah been looking for the most idiot-proof trailer for weeks 😂. Gonna pick up more motorcycles from other brands and don't want to create a fail video haha
@@hulkhatepunybannerthe deployable trailer hitch is popular on euro models. I worked for BMW Plant 10 here in the states and so many of the Euro spec'd models had that trailer hitch. It is equivalent to a class 1 or 2 here in the US, but is not DOT approved, or wasn't when I left BMW back in 2017.
Trailer looks good but when you strap down you’re putting a lot of pressure on the forks and the back strapping down it looks good BUT if you have a road bike with saddle bags that strap won’t work but good idea if you don’t have bags
@@AdventureTravelandScuba you should spend most of your time in your analytics by the way 😊. Learn and understand your retention graph and start from there....it shows you when people watch longer and when they leave so you know what to do , and what not to do in your next video 😁
Search MotoLug, a lot smaller and tow two bikes at once if you choose the right model. I used to have one, they are good for what it is but all single axle are bouncy on the UK roads. I eventually replaced it with a horsebox trailer lol because I can sweep all bike parts in even when I crash into bits on track. I still miss my motolug though. Different course different horse.
Haha agree. This model also comes in a two bike option. I did see the motolug but it doesn't drop all the way into the ground and still has that scary small ramp you have to push your bike up 😅
@@LifeofSmokey thats right, I end up with quite a few trailer tyres, stock at 8 inch, upgraded 10 inch - they left a different gap to the ground also depends on tow ball height of the vehicle. Its really important to use the bigger size tyres as they are spinning considerably slower. I'm not convinced with the 8inch wheel at high speed haha. Now I am towing a Debon C500, 13 inch wheels, twin axle and come with suspension and a shelter. Just too big when not in use. I guess there's always a compromise and a balanced choice to be considered by individual.
@@XtremeCoke yep i also wanted the double because maybe in the future i would need it. Been working on mine and testing if i could fit the 21inch wheels from the car on it 😅. But that's like mission impossible haha. Doesn't touch the ground anymore with bigger wheels 🙈
Hi. I just bought a 'similar' trailer (the Lorries Motorradanhänger MT-1). I dithered a little until I saw your cool vid; you made my mind up, thanks! But I NEED those ties! Not the ones that go over the rear wheel. Any chance you could post a link?
Just Google "retractable straps" and google will show you the best option to buy them located close to you. I bought them at a local store in Belgium. The are AWESOME! :-)
Hello Smokey, I think I have understood the way (mechanism) in which the trailer goes down and up until it becomes a ramp, however it seems like a rigid system without any suspension, how does it respond on uneven or bumpy terrain?
Well they are brand less but I ordered some more couple weeks ago for give aways. I should try and find some more of mine and sell them on my future website or something 😅🙈
Nice trailer but I would love to buy one from a dealer here in the US. And what is the maximum weight capacity? My Harley Davidson Tour bike is around 950- 975lbs.
440kg is equal to 970 lbs. my Harley weighs 925 with fuel and oil. I am sure I have at least 50lbs of gear in the bags, and thats without me on it. Nice setup though.
Thanks.. useful and funny vids.. the perfect trailer.. I've got the same KTM SAR and coincidently (before I saw your other vids 😉) I'm looking at buying a Jimny. Question.. have you tried towing the SAR with the Jimny.. how was it?
Been making youtube videos for 10 years , fulltime only like last 2 years now as i quit my job as an injection moulding technician. On my instagram you will find a picture of me holding 5 youtube playbuttons. I got 5.5 million subscribers on a couple different channels. But nobody knows most of those channels as i like to keep most of the things i do private. Had to deal with a lot of jealousy last couple of years , friends acting weird and stuff.... But this channel is a first for me , i have never showed my face in a video so now i'm here , making these videos and learning how to vlog 😁
Hello there, I thoroughly enjoyed your video!! I need this trailer!! I have a 125cc Lance Cabo scooter and I plan to take it across the country (usa) and back, about 7000 mile journey....I need to be able to get the scooter on and off the trailer by myself!! This would be amazing! Is there any way to find an american representative?? I am sure shipping one of these guys would cost a small fortune on top of the price. Any ideas? Thank you so much for any info! Xo
Nope if you hit a heavy bump your front suspension will decompress and the straps will come lose. Been there done that , never doing that again 😅. But if you lock your front wheel it's also good ofcourse but the V shape where i ride my front wheel in does not have something to strap the wheel in place 😅
I really wanted to buy the Duo version of this trailer, however when added to cart, USA is NOT an option for shipping - so WTF? I've got a deposit on a '23 890R but damn tempted to grab an in stock '23 1290R instead -- I won't be pulling it with my AMG tho 🙂 ANY HELP ON ORDERING WOULD BE SWEET, THX!
Yeah they are a small French local business. They don't care about expanding 😅🙈. Also their marketing is sooo bad 😂. And 890 vs 1290 for me is pretty simple and depends on the amount of offroad use. If you plan on riding it offroad all the time or a lot I would go for the 890 because of the weight. If you plan on riding more onroad and some trails here and there I would prefer the 1290. It's as fast as a Superduke R until 3rd gear make no mistake 😅
@Life of Smokey test rode the 1290R today, indeed it was sweet... the adaptive cruise was def a nice hwy feature, 8k up charge OTD diff between the 890R and 1290R...I kept my deposit on the 890R for now, I need to see it and ride it before making any decision, it's killin me. Got an order on the Kendon dual ride up trailer... thx for the info though!
I loaded my Tuono v4 into a Renault Trafic (Van) multiples times. The first time was impressive, but you get used to it. The things after a while wasn't to get her inside or out, but adjusting all the straps while being in the van. So boring and time conssuming..
I tried riding my Super Adventure R inside my dad's VW Transporter.....when i was up the ramp i noticed the bike was to high and crashed into the roof of the van....:-)
@@LifeofSmokey Haha yes the transporter is just 10 cm lower than any other van. It's great for commercial parking spots to pass under the 2 meter door. But not good for motorcycles !
