I bought a New Honda EU7000I Generator with Bluetooth. My Honda Generator Collection is complete! 

You made a wise investment. You can use 100% gas also. Some gas stations have it and that’s what I use too. But the 7000 is the best you can get. I would recommend you get a gen tent for when it’s raining or snowing so it won’t get all wet. You’re going to love it. The engineering that Honda puts into them is amazing. The app will advise you when it’s time maintain anything on it. If you don’t start in about 30 days the app will send you a reminder that it needs to be started, It also has the owner user guide too and many helpful bits of info. Also I would recommend to buy extra oil, filter, sparks plugs on hand. Enjoy it and keep the PM up to date and it will keep giving many years of dependable service…..oh, I forgot take picture of it and the serial # too and keep it just in case some steals it.

I have the non blue tooth model. I love mine. Always starts. I can back feed my entire house including my 2-1/2 ton central air. I bought mine brand new from a Honda dealer near me. Unfortunately when I bought it, they were back ordered indefinitely. He had to source it from another dealer out of state because I already paid in full for mine. It was delivered with some scratches & I took it because it had zero hours on the engine. The longest I needed it for was 2-1/2 days. It worked flawlessly. I have had it for 5 years & 70 hours on it. I fire it up about every 6-8 weeks. Or when I remember? I sometimes connected it to the house & other times not. I have a trickle charger for mine. As well as an after market auxiliary fuel tank made specifically for Honda inverter generators. I have the lift kit. The service manual & spare parts. I have the hard wired remote from Honda so I can start it in my house. It’s inside a stainless steel custom made enclosure outside on a concrete pad. It is always ready all the time. My wife can fire it up without me home & energize the house in a storm. It’s peace of mind! I’m interested in knowing if there is an extra wheel kit available? I just bought the Spitz Lift for my pick up truck. I’ll need that to safely load that in my pick up truck by myself.

Yeah, airplane fuel. You just voided your Honda warranty. It says so in the owners manual. I also have an EU7000is. I stopped buying Avgas because of that. I found a different non ethanol rec90 source. If you want to have some upgrades, but a second axle and two wheels. Open two of the screw hold a little, and you can ditch the non moving feet. You will need to remove the cotter pins and use removable pins instead. It will block opening the side panel. The added maneuverability was worth the trade off. Also, for those thinking you need an engine lift, it much easier to install the wheels by laying down some cardboard and flipping up the generator 90°. This would be before you add fuel or oil.

I'd love to get an EU7000is. Is the airplane gas lead free? The Gen has a low oil cut off so anyone that forgot to put oil in it, technically it shouldn't start if the unit is working right.

Have you put any hours on it? And are you happy with it? I finally found somebody on RU-vid who didn’t put synthetic oil in it right away! 😅😅 We just picked up the new 3200 I. It’ll get a lot of use as we go Boondocking quite often with our trailer. Enjoyed your video. 👍👍👍

Using Aviation 100LL fuel has Lead in the blend which will destroy the Catalytic Converter on the EU 7000is Generator.

Have you tried to parallel your eu7000is with any of your Honda generators? How did this work for you?

Leaded gas on fuel injected stuff is no good. Plugs up the sensors with lead deposits also. The AV gas has benzene or however you spell it. In it. And it will eat up a lot of rubber parts Personally I've been buying Sunoco standard 110 octane for $10 a gallon and I'll throw a gallon in the tank to store my generators. It's also leaded but won't eat up the rubber components but will still destroy oxygen sensors. My generator sat for over 2 years with Sunoco standard in the tank and started up on the second pull. !!!

Why are you using avgas? That stuff is leaded! Not good.

Guy who likes to waste his money. Honda designed that engine with a compression ratio that would run fine on gas that can be bought commonly. The extra octane is completely unnecessary without gain. The average person is not very aware of a avgas but buying doesn’t make you special just an ass.

Becareful of 100 octane. Engine may run hot. Use 93 Non-Ethanol fuel. But you are completely correct using Non-Ethanol fuel.
