Leave the iPod charge for a longer period of time and the battery should still work it will drain slowly over time if you don’t use it but you didn’t leave a charge long enough for it to keep a charge. You should probably leave it charge for at least an hour about. Before you unplug it from any power source. Just thought I’d let you know that to hopefully help you out @ZONEofTECH I really hope that you see the message

FanStalinGibs - Me too, the Silver 4GB iPod Nano was my 1st apple product and it still woks with the connector to the car, no bluetooth then. I am still buying Apple porducts. I even have the original iMac Plus computer. It may not still work, since I have it in a box in the attic.

I had the green iPod Nano 2nd Gen when I was in 7th grade (2006). I remember thinking it was the best thing I ever owned lol. And I remember I was so surprised at how smooth the graphics looked when you would volume the iPod up or down. Before I got the iPod, I was trying to sneak my CD player into class lol. Fun times.

I have a similar story, but with the first gen iPod Nano, i was around 13-14 and never really heard of Apple at that time, everybody used pc in Lithuania, but my mother was working in other country, and she bought iPod nano for me as a x-mas present, and i still remember i was blown away on how beautiful and easy to use it was, plus it could fit so many songs, pretty and cool little device that i never seen before, i was living in a small village, there was some people who still used the players with the cd.. so from time to time i would bring iPod nano to school, and i still remember the faces on friends, like it was from the other planet, they were amazed lol

5:43 "these were so bad!" NO!!! They are still one of the BEST earphones you can buy! If the music you've listened on them was bad then yes, they sounded bad. If the music was well mixed and mastered it was a pleasure to listen on them. These were my reference choice to mix music for a LONG TIME! I Love these headphones!

LOL I still have the one before that, polished steel and black perspex. Still works 100% and sounds absolutely amazing. I remember throwing it to the floor hard wanting to see what's inside, and it wouldn't budge. Also survived fire heat after i changed my mind on burning it. I don't think the current devices are that strong. The iPod touch that replaced it shattered first time I threw it to a wall frustrated by some realtor.

i like the ipod nano with the fm radio tuner and helped to save space with listening to music on my i phone but it would be great if apple brought back a retro version of the nano with bluetooth and lightning but in your ca$e d! you got played with your purchase of buying them with apple can,t replace the battery after it eventually dies either way i hope that you,ll enjoy them and and thanks for a good flashback review.

Even my 1st generation iPod touch is able to hold a charge all day and its from 2007. It seems like some batteries can last for many years.

I still have a few iPods stored somewhere in the house and they’re still functional. Too bad, they don’t support Apple Music and the world has shifted to subscription model now. So it’s basically of no use anymore. Couldn’t even use for my car, unless I want to listen to the old track I have, most of which iTunes even replaced which make them unplayable on iPods.

The very first Apple product I ever used was a white or silver iPod nano of that generation I remember it was my mum's and i would sit on the sofa while my mum looked after my then baby brother I must have been 4 or 5 back then (nearly 11 years ago) we had to have it replaced because the device was recalled and so the iPod that we have today is one of the last iPod nanos the fully touch screen model about an inch square

I still own the original iPod Nano with monochrome screen and it still works not sure about the battery I play it from my MBP once in a while, no idea what game is on it it is white with chrome back can’t remember he storage

The Mark on the blue one suggests the battery has been replaced, I ended up with a similar mark replacing the battery on mine 👍🏻

My best friend had a pink nano and I had a gold iPod shuffle...until someone at school stole it. All they got on it was Hannah Montana soundtracks anyway.
