I want to learn to fly 100% on my own with no help. Like a true man. This is gonna take some dedication but I’ll have it down soon. Just need more planes. #flightschool
not really. how many people can actually afford a plane considering the average plane costs 3X the average male salary assuming no taxes or bills lmfao. it's basically a rich kids toy.
@@mikeznel6048 not a junk plane at all. There’s literally thousands of 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s planes still out there flying. Gonna be hilarious when the aviation fan boys (rich old men!) see this! Whole new level of haters
An early air crash happened because planes had no better navigation aid but to follow the roads beneath them, two early airliners had a head-on crash that way
I really appreciate how vocal you are about the new stupid gas nozzles. I've had to move fuel for pyrotechnic displays between 20+ gas cans, and it is absolute hell, and dangerous (because of the horrible 'safe' design of the new nozzles).
As a certified MS flight simulator leisure pilot, I can confirm this man’s experience and qualifications without doubt. As professionals, he and I both know that nose tip could have happened to just about anyone.
You kinda trashed a vintage historic aircraft. This thing is dying for a loving hand to restore it to its' 1947 glory. She deserved better than going out like this
I chuckled as his comment (obv he's joking but still) saying what are they going to do? Take my non-existent license? No, but they will prob ban you from flying for a while, fines and possibly jail time 😂 look at Trevor Jacob.
Human error would quite possible happend when you have lack of knowledge about flying a plane,I would be happy if he buy a paraglider backpack and a chute.
That man's genuine concern for your well-being is making me cry laughing. His eyes are brimming with mixed despair and regret. He's almost certainly contemplating his moral obligations to your loved ones, as well as legal liabilities.
If you rip off all the skin, take out the seats windshield and everything else you can and get it to 254 pounds or less, then it qualifies as an ultralight and you don't need a pilots license or training. but please don't die
LOL, people have no idea how many uncertified aircraft and unlicensed pilots are out there. If you go out west to the farms almost all of them are like that.
@@embededfabrication4482 Agreed somewhat, but let's be honest, (someone) shared knowledge and flight training w/those flying farmers. If someone 100% taught themselves to fly, and are still alive to tell about it,, I bet they'd strongly suggest training by someone. Agreed? ✌brother
The new pos gas can nozzle thing truly is a serious problem. I have to pour all my gas cans just like this although I usually use a funnel. What were they thinking
We can be thankful that this plane never got airborne! As he and his friend went around, tearing things off the plane, I was reminded of a troupe of baboons I once saw on video, trashing a car that was left unguarded in the wrong place. I can't wait to see the video of when he opens his flight-training school.
I usually don't mind watching you destroy things but I'm watching you build up to imminent destruction of this beautiful antique taylorcraft and I just can't stop shaking my head while I witness this. You could have gotten cleetus mcfarland to help and discover the taylorcrafts awesome aerobatic capabilities.
It never ceases to amaze me that people are able to assemble a few friends to make a video like this (let's deliberately act stupider than we really are- which takes incredible acting ability) all to generate hits on RU-vid. The greasy stringy mullet was a nice touch.
That’s the point, you’re mad? Good It’s better the him making a clickbait video of him getting a multi million dollar jet and flying to Las Vegas on daddies money
As the owner of a taylorcraft I was very pleased to see how well It did with them walking on the wings lol. there have been many times in rough air where I’m like “man I hope these old bones don’t break”
actually the engine tearing out of the frame is one of the most likely scenarios, the force is distributed evenly along the wings and they aren't that heavy.
Good thing you have no intentions of actually flying this because now that you've had a prop strike, FAA requires the engine be torn down and inspected before it can be flown again.
regardless of the prop strike ... i doubt they ever would have let this off the ground. The whole plane needs a stress test and inspection. Looks like a death trap.
Forget the stress test, these planes don’t ever get or need one. Just make sure the bent parts are replaced, and the engine, and the wings, struts, landing gear... just get a new plane.
@@geoffreyking1 it was in terrible shape to begin with and wouldn't of passed safety inspections . unless its like the first one made or like perfect condition it's not something worth crying about just saying. :)
