Maybe the reason it was only running in one cylinder is cause u were revving it cold and it fouled a plug🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Dont paint the pipe, do it correctly and have them blasted and ceramic coated. Please dont take shortcuts like usual lol.

When the banshee runs on one cylinder,usually it’s a clogged pilot jet is clogged or needs a good cleaning. Have on myself

Id check your coil, she doesnt seem to kick up to 2 cyls until ur up on the rpm. Id check your coil. And spark.

Its funny because that hellbound sticker is my uncles old shop, it shut down last summer when he passed away but I love to still see his stuff advertised even if its half way across the country.

It seems like it has an air leak somewhere causing the high idle after you give it gas. Spray some starting fluid around the intakes and reeds, if the idle changes than you know you have an air leak

Pull the choke if the other pipe starts smoking its a fuel issue probably need a good cleaning of the pilot jets !! With a metal brush

Open up the carburetor and clean it. Clean the pin inside. Might be plugged. It is small though so take a needle to clean it or use a air pressure to blow it clean.

Make a collection with all the 2 stroke atv’s and keep them. Be worth a lot of money in a few years. But nice purchase man.

Nice banshee being looking me one in north Carolina you can always fix it up the way you want and get you a plastic kits for them and if you decide if you want to rebuild the top end go with wisco piston kit two of them and hope the cylinder in good shape and you would not have too replated the cylinder they have a web site with all banshee parts anything your looking for new and used even carry cool heads anything for a banshee wish you the best of luck with the banshee hope too find me one too fix up around north Carolina the starting price is 5 thousand dollars best of luck to you with your new projects will be looking forward to more of your videos thanks again for all the great videos you do

You can defiantly make it the way you want it you can paint the pipes or take them off and get some steel wool or paint them with header heat paint nice banshee to fix it the way you want it too be maybe I'll get lucky and find me one too fix up best of luck great deal after you fix it up it will bring 5 thousand dollars or more great video

Why keep running it knowing it has carb issues? Like all the others i guess. No fuel, no cylinder lube....

Sent it on 1 cylinder, if it's not getting any premix, then it's not getting any oil down to the cylinder, be carefull ^_^, check for spark first tho ! Gl

Hey, I have a 2004 Yamaha blaster. Would you recommend blocking the oil pump and just the gas and oil myself?

2vintage I'm going to post an actual constructive comment to help you because I'm O.G like that and love my banshees. WD-40 the exhaust for now then buff it to a polish next winter. Buy a carburetor synchronizer on amazon for the banshee they're like 30 bucks. Run klotz benol at 40:1 b8es plugs.It looks like you have stock carbs so use a 30 pilot for easy starting. Read which main jet you have and do plug chops to determine if it's lean. You do have tors delete (those gold idle screws on the side of the carbs) Look up South Texas Banshee and Watch watch and watch !

I would wet sand those pipes from 800 and end with 2000 grit, polish them back up or high temp clear coat. My Toomey's had the same issue just not as bad. Doing the extra work will look much better than painting them black.

Don’t give up man, it’s your money and your bikes. Used Dirtbikes and older quads are a dime a dozen and cheep to build. Keep em coming.

Always wanted a banshee. But i have a cheap dirtbike instead. My twin carb also need checking as it making crazy noise and won't idel

Be careful with those reed spacers , it’s just another place for an air leak

If you put the choke on, the one other head should kick on and when you turn the choke off it should only run on one cylinder if that's the case it's usually the pilot jet 🤟

I feel like the steering stem is bend.. can tell it was rolled.. And a dead cylinder.. so 1500 bucks and needs a top end rebuild

If its running only in one cylinder why you are revving it and riding it? If it doesnt get gas it means it doesnt get lubrication too so when you open the engine there can be big destruction.

My honest opinion, i wouldnt have even paid $1500 for it. It needs work yes.. But really if i was buying it. I wouldnt have paid anymore than $700 for it. But i will say this. It does have potential to becoming. A great running 4 wheeler again. Love you videos joe, keep them coming.

Jordan high temp paint is not going to hurt it any. I had two banshees. I used high temp paint on my pipes. Didnt hurt it any at all.

if a cylinder does not work, and there is no gas, no lubrication, you may be ruining the cylinder that does not work if you run the engine, check the carb, spark plug and cilinder

Sos pad will clean the most of that rust off

Why don’t u get scotch pads from pryme mx to really shine up parts or getting rid of rust etc

That bike is not running on 1 cylinder because of gas bro . It has to be no spark , low compression , dirty carb jets or bad Reed's petals for the left cyclinder . change the spark plug and see if it starts to smoke out of the left exhaust muffler

It was a good deal for what it is, definitely get both cyclinders hitting properly on the fly by your running on 2 but at idle goes back to 1 use ur knowledge and fix it up I’m sure u can bro

Go watch South Texas banshee video's before trying to synch the carbs or adjust the idle there are simple tricks that you need to know to do it well!! If its a 25 pilot jet clean it with a brush you dont need bigger than that ! You play with air fuel screw instead

Jet it for what weather your ridding in. Came with ice tires, rusty AF! Prolly tuned for cold. DONT PAINT JUST CLEAN!. You will get more out of it

Should actually do a frame up restore. Aftermarket shocks, bored, radiator, led lights, powder coat frame etc
