I Bought a Small Comic Book Collection with Huge Keys! 

I stopped watching when you declared you wouldn't say the cost. Without that interest, it's just you showing me some comics.

Not going to keep me from watching, but I don’t see the harm in disclosing the price. Bry does it all the time and it makes me more interested in his videos. If you were really private you wouldn’t be on RU-vid 😂. Very nice collection. Grats on a great pickup.

Hey Jim. You know you're right up my alley w/ the Silver Age Marvels! Great Steranko art on those Strange Tales issues, and the Dr. Strange back-up features were on fire during that period. All those Tales of Suspense and Tales to Astonish are priceless. Great ASM issues as well. Whatever you paid for those was well worth it.

A few years ago, I was trying to raise money to buy a guitar and thought I'd sell my Strange Tales 110-168. I contacted a dealer I met on the CGC boards and he really didn't seem interested in doing the leg work to figure out a price. I've been very thankful for that since. I don't know what I was thinking .. those books will never leave my collection.

Hi Jim, those old Tales of Suspence and Tales to Astonish are really great. A lot of those books have fantastic Gene Colan artwork. I love Gene Colans work on Daredevil, Dracula, Iron Man and Submariner.

Some great books!

Love seeing the covers of the Tales books (Of Suspense, To Astonish and Strange). Annuals are often overlooked by fans but I always loved seeing them on the stands; here in Australia they appeared during our winter or early spring and marked school holiday time. ASM #182 and #183 show that even this title had its wacky villains: Rocket Racer and Big Wheel, sheesh!

When i started reading , many of these were translated and got me into superheroes comics. To see so many original issues is amazing! How many comics were this in total? 200? Maybe a small collection, but oooh so huge storywise.

Not sure how not disclosing the purchase price is beneficial to the seller, or the buyer for that matter. EVERYTHING is a nice book, depending on what you pay for it. Likewise saying "Nice price for everything", what does that mean? Nice, as in "a lot of $"? Nice, as in "not a lot of $" or what? Hard to say what I think of the collection if you just throw a lot of money at someone for them. Obviously there are some decent books, but if you pay even close to FMV for a lot that size, in this market, your getting hosed.

I’ve been trying whatnot and I can not figure it out for the life of me. I’m old to and I’ve been trying to finish my spawn collection. But I just can’t figure out how to look for books on whatnot.
