@@its_aled8950 bro, the advice to give is always garage it (so paint stays fresh, and doesn't peel eventually, which it will if you park it outside perpetually). 2), ideally, you don't use it as a daily. Instead buy an old Camry or something for daily driving. And 3) just do the regular and proper car maintenance. Now I now for most people, especially young people, having 2 cars is not possible. But it's legit the best way to extend the life of a car (you can add like 10-30 years of extended life to it by doing this), and is important for sport cars. You never see people daily driving a Skyline, or a EVO, etc etc. If your car was an STI I would 100% advise this (due to the future collector value of the cars). But a WRX less so. Anyhow, I have 2 cars, with my daily being a Camry (and will prob buy a few more cars in the future lol). If you MUST daily it tho, then just be more strict on maintenance. More regular oil changes. And regularly check oil and other fluids yourself. And take it to a shop that knows the brand (a specialist shop - where you will pay more). Don't just take it to the generic mechanic shop that does all brands, they will 100% miss preventable problems. Once problems start compounding, that is when cars become a major headache. Also even when dailying, always garage it when not using it. And wash regularly. Do all that and you can still daily it no problem. It's actually 100% do-able and if done properly you won't have problems. Just know about Subaru's also, i.e. never ever rev hard on a cold engine, only rev remotely hard when it is fully to temp, always check the oil etc. Watch Mr Subaru also and learn about even doing some basic work or monitoring of parts yourself. Learn about common problems for your model that you should watch for (so you can catch them early), and so forth. Do all this it can last a very long time as a daily. Most young people don't do any of this, they skip services, they delay part replacements due to lack of funds, they don't garage the car at all, they drive like maniacs everywhere on cold engines, then they wonder why their USED 20+ year old car looks nothing like it did when they bought it only 5 years ago, with peeling paint, leaking oil, and sounding like a tractor lol. I basically did that with my 2nd hand 2004 Liberty (Legacy) when I was young. Don't do the same.
Yoo I bought an STI when I was nineteen as well. The turbo and head blew less than a month into ownership. When it was fixed it was a really fun car though.
Not really if you buy Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura and you know about which models are the most reliable, you can easily get 300-400k+ miles out of the right cars if you know what you're looking for. They also have cheap parts and are easy to modify. You could buy a 90's to 2000's Camry and replace all of the worn internals for cheaper than buying new and it would probably last you twice as long too. Same with an LS, Integra or a Civic. I could buy a new transmission and engine for my 2001 Camry for 4000 or less which I probably won't even have to do until it's past 300k miles if not 400k+.
spending time to get your car working great is very encouraging and fufilling a nice reliable car that never has problems is always awesome but so is finnaly getting your car to run after hours of troubleshooting is such a rush
I got WRX when i was 19, 11 months later, I traded it in to get the STI as a 20 yrs old. I'm now currently 23, with my STI paid off, and honestly I have no regrets except that I should've gotten an STI in the first place! Money will come back, but memories in your 20's with friends going to car shows are forever!
@@its_aled8950 I mean it’s personal preference, I like the VA STIs since they’re newer and easier to source parts for. It just comes down to if you’re more after the nostalgia of an older chassis, or want something with wider market support.
really refreshing to watch something this genuine on youtube. Its like a breath of fresh air compared to all the high value production, over edited videos and thumbnails who are desperate in trying to grab your attention.
Well I'm 30 but I didn't know anything about cars and got obsessed with rotary engines and bought a barely running 2004 Mazda RX8 and drove the hell out of it. Learned how to work on cars and learned how to drive a manual transmission. I'm currently pulling out the motor and I'm rebuilding it myself. Best decision I've ever made, I love every second of driving that car. Boxer engines are my second favorite engine design after rotaries, and they both have a somewhat undeserved reputation as "unreliable" engines, so I feel kinship with Subarus when I see them lol. Plus that rally legacy will always be a part of the WRX.
actually I used to hear many people say boxers can be pretty reliable as long as you don't go crazy and build it up pass 350hp but most people beat on them and the turbo probably causes them to not be as reliable as the na boxer engines
Lets go bro, rebuilding rotary engines isnt very easy neither. Youre good asf! Also i love rotary engines. I do not like, i love the rx7, rx8, mx5. Wrx´s are really cool too, even tho they have different engines, theyre really good
Holyshit, I haven't had fun watching such a relaxing and cool video, no bs background music while somebody talking (only birds chiming), and pure sound of this guy's understandable pain, you sir are an absolute favorite in terms of watching youtube right now. keep it up ♥
@@its_aled8950 Apart from being a bit low at some points, it was soft and nice, was honestly lovely to just listen to! Some mics make the audio really harsh, this wasn't that, and that's really good!
Congrats on the purchase. I got an 04 sti when i was 19. Now 22 with it paid off. Best decision ive ever made. Such a fun cars, excited to see how your adventure will continue
You're doing good, man. And worry not. The stupid does not rub off with time. I'm 34 and bought an Audi TT 225 mk1 that's turning 25 years old this year, instead of something more recent and reliable, and here we are. Loving it. I hope this one gives you more satisfaction than headaches.
Hello mate, 20 years old and just bought a 1999 uk turbo prodrive. Funny watching this as I had similar feelings. Despite what you hear, these cars can be relatively bulletproof so long as you keep up with maintenance and don’t go sticking eBay bits on it. Enjoy it, they don’t make cars like this anymore and you’ll look back and adore the fact you owned one. Much love from Portsmouth 🙌.
Trust me, I’m keeping on top of the maintenance I genuinely want this car to last and I want to treat it good, thanks and good luck with your own subie :]
Glad your buying an older Subaru av got a SG5 Forester XT in Red manual Wrx ej205 engine aswell its been realible just needs welding like 75% of old Subaru’s stock bar Pedders suspension and a custom back box sounds like a sti gnome lol how bad was your insurance am 26 and was £850 but with a stock wrx still £1000
@@motosejid1876 thats pretty good mate a viewed a colin mcrae era GC8 uk 2000 green way gold wheels 140k £2950 ( been welded 4 times so a gave it a miss), a 2002 bugeye wrx £3500 and a blobeye for £6500 and the blobeye had a dodgy mot on it was absolutely rotten radiator was half missing subframe was a touch away from snapping in half 66k miles 1 owner so took me ages too get one this xt does need welding as i put my fingers through rear suspension turrets but it was £1750 way years mot lol project xt av spent £2500 on in august mot is out itll cost like another grand haha
Did the exact same thing. Over spring break of my college freshman year I ran off without anyone knowing and bought a GR wrx hatchback that was in shambles, I ended up buying another hatch later on cause of it. Your car sounds healthy, and you've thought things through more than i did. You're already doing great. Keep it up
I’m so glad I watched this video lmfao, brought me back to old RU-vid, no gimmicks or playing up, just pure conversation. You seem like such a chill and relatable dude, bought an 89’ Camaro last year and fucking love it!
@@danizimo Happy belated Birthday! And don’t feel too bad, I’m 26 and have been driving my dad’s car for 4 years, and will probably only buy my own first car this year.
Congrads on the car at 19 your living the dream haha, The WRX does suffer from head gasket issues more than the STI, however i recommend putting a Cosworth head gasket on it and it will go forever. Forester STI owner for 7 years love it.
Haha man. I’m almost 19 and I just purchased a 2007 wrx wagon a week ago. I still haven’t been able to drive it because of the issues I purchased it with. Almost half the price of the vehicle I have had to put into it just to be able to drive it. Hopefully in a week and with my wallet completely Drained. I should be left with a big smile on my face Driving my little wagon all over the gravel roads. Hopefully your Subaru treats you as good as you treat it! Best of luck to you man!
Your vids just been algorithmed to me, looks good mate. Get it running good before messing with it. Be careful with any mods insurance will shaft you and avoid the chinese stuff 👍. Subbed
@@its_aled8950 I'm just some internet mug so you've no reason to take my word for it, but I need to tell you, you've got more common sense than 90% of 19-year-olds.
Great stuff man, I‘m really liking the more quiet and personal style of your videos. Also, really exited for whatever sort of shenanigans this little shitbox might be up to.
As an enthusiastic subaru enjoyer here in the more wintery parts of the U.S, I'd like to say that you wont regret that car. Just do oil changes more often than you think, and stay ahead of the rust before it completely eats the metal off and you'll have a car that will last you a surprisingly long time. Also, love the way you've done this video. It is definitely reminiscent of old youtube. Well done!
As a guy that's been there done that in terms of both WRX's and general life, fix it, maintain it, maybe toss an exhaust if you truly feel the need, then leave. it. alone. Just drive and enjoy. It's a good looking car, seems to be in fair shape. Get it running well and leave it alone until you find your next toy that you intend to keep even longer (you will, I promise). Dropping crazy mod money on it at this stage of your life is a waste and you'll never get the money back. Trying to resell mods when you return it to stock later nets you pennies on the dollar, just not worth the headache. An older subie motor does not need more stress in it's life and neither do you. Just my two cents. Take it as you will.
Genuinely thanks for the advice, I do want to keep it more or less stock and maybe an exhaust. I don’t want me to be the last owner of this car. But trust me I’ll try and listen to your advice.
If you don't have kids or any other major financial responsibilities, now is the perfect time to get a money pit. If not now, you may never have the chance. Take some risk, live life you're young. Within reason of course!
@@menace2society00 19 is not the perfect time to modify a money pit wrx. He has other more important things to worry about than dropping funds into that car. It's literally the worst roi you can make at any age. Seldom does anyone keep their first toy anyways.
when i was 16 i bought a 2003 bugeye wrx, 2 years in it blew a transmission and i dont regret a thing. 19 now and i bought a 2005 sti and i dont regret it at all, the most fun car i've ever owned
@@TKDPandaa how is a headache and wasting money turn into the "most fun car you've ever owned". I'm no genius but that just kind of sounds like living in denial of the fact that these cars are not worth it😂I mean to each their own but if I cant kick the shit out of my car without having to worry about my transmission breaking after some launches and aggressive driving what the hell is the point in it lmao.
@@ItzzShazey we're all car guys so you got to understand that cars can only last so long without something going bad lmao. there is not perfect car, what makes a car fun is based off of how you perceive it. mechanically the wrx sti has been engineered to be a very fun car and reliable if taken care off properly. cars cant last forever sometimes but i say if you get the most out of it then its worth having a few headaches lmao
One of the best car videos I've seen. Short and to the point. Video is 6 and a half minutes and not once did I want to skip through it. Nice job man :). Good luck for the future with your Subaru :)
I've been wanting to buy one fo these cars so I'm happy I found this vid. The British accent makes it more relatable too because England is way smaller than the US so it'll be a good change of scenary
Quality castrol oil in the trunk, always carrying a tool chest and some jacks for the off-chance of issues. You're a solid owner, I wish longevity upon your subaru!
Bought an RX-8 in my 20's when I was still sorting my life out and with a bunch of responsibilities. A money pit for sure but I've been making core memories with it thus far!
28, got my Blobeye WRX 8 months ago. Though parts are worn and some things are going out on it, the 2.0T has been nothing but reliable for me so far in 10k miles. She has 188k now, and I swapped the front clip with a JDM Bugeye STi one with an STi wing to complete its idiocy. I regret nothing about this car. After driving plenty of fast cars in a straight line(particularly Dodges and pickup trucks), this car has been my favorite. Still stock internals(minus a muffler delete), plan to keep it that way. It's just a joy to hear and drive on a twisty backroad. My only regret is not buying one of these sooner after being blinded by muscle car/V8 bias...
Good to hear you’re enjoying it. The power that it puts out is plenty for it. Especially considering there are no good roads for exploiting anything much more powerful around here
the first car you really want is a Honda or Toyota... it will not have any repair bill and even if it has some repairs it will be very cheap... back when i was 18 i bought a 16 year old Golf 2 Gti and that was also not the smartest, it worked decent for 2-3 years and then the Major problems started to shit on the car, Rust and the Motor started to break down..
Did the same thing when I was 19. Got a blob/gator eye WRX and immediately burnt out the clutch, lol. I learned a ton from each thing that broke or mod I did. It was a great experience. Now I'm in my 30s, and I've had a long list of different race cars, and this was the one that started it all... Good luck to everyone going through this!
Good job with the honest approach to a video, very refreshing to see someone who isn't trying too hard and is just being genuine, you deserve a sub brotha
Nice car dude! I’m currently 23 and just got myself a 2017 WRX, that being said it’s my first car AND never drove a manual car at all. It’s all part of making memories and getting over the hurdles.
Really wholesome vid mate. Did exactly the same thing but with an E46 M3. Had a massive blow in the exhaust and always ran lean. I regretted it but I also didn't.
Ay, 25 from ger here, bought a subaru gd9 5 years ago(with the infamous secondary air valve issues here) and got into the mechanic field two years ago, even though pretty much everyone told me not to do it. Great learning platform, "subarus are special" will only improve your general skill with handling cars in a more straight to the point mechanical way in my opinion. After all it turned out to be more reliable then others cars who always flexed with em but only did standart maintenance cause thats all they could do... no shit things break all the time if you dont care or ignore whats about to happen if you dont. Keep it up man, boring cars arent worth the effort ♥
Same. Bought my 06 STi back in 2008. I'm now 35 and still have it. They stay perfectly reliable as long as you keep up with the scheduled maintenance and don't mod it without doing a proper dyno tune for anything that affects air or fuel. Just a turbo-back exhaust and a dyno tune really wakes these cars up and gives it the perfect power for the street and it'll stay perfectly reliable. Gauges are an extra step to preventing anything. Whatever you do, don't drive on a Cobb OTS tune for any longer than you need to.
made the mistake at 19 and financed a brand new 2018 wrx. Great car. seriously greatest car i’ve driven, but when i went to the gas station and it cost $95 to fill every week (live in canada) that kinda blew. Miss it everyday. but love the fuel efficiency in my GTI more
Currently 19 and own a GT-T Caldina. It's rough, and something big will self destruct eventually, but something tells me that I would never come to forgive myself if I sold it.
don't worry, it'll break down, and you will enjoy every minute of it even if you will hate it in the moment, my old 07 swift locked keys in the boot (even though it's not supposed to do that) and I had to break my own window, and now couple years later I miss that car so much
Hey fella, ive been at this a while so heres some rubbish info for you. you will find that the exhaust leak may be the root cause of your pops and bangs, as fresh oxygen being drawn in through venturi effect will offset the rear O2 voltage. You should consider getting a wideband sensor and a Tactrix programmer. it will save you a lot of energy and effort in the long run if you have the right gear. With a Tactrix you can flash out the references to the rear 02 sensor which will get rid of your check engine light caused by the lack of Cats. With a Tactrix, you can check all your key values like AFR, check for detonation, generate logs for getting help from others, etc etc. and, it will set you on the right path to understanding the ins and outs of tuning, and possibly open up an entire world of tuning to you in the future. I really do highly recommend you at least get yourself a wideband sensor, as it will definitely save your engine in the event something sensor related goes wrong (and it will, trust me). you seem like a bright person so theres probably no point in me telling you not to fit an aftermarket boost controller, for the cost of a decent one you could buy a Tactrix, and with that, you can adjust boost as you see fit and do it safely while generating logs showing AFR, injector cycle etc (which, given that these have 380cc injectors stock, is very important to keep an eye on!) It is great that you have not done any other mods, modifying the intake on these is a key reason why so many of them have bottom end issues. even doing turboback exhausts is not a good idea without a tune (again, easy with a Tactrix!). You are on the right track in the sense of repairing/restoring the chassis/cosmetics first. Lastly though, welcome to the family! old WRX's are not for everyone, but for the people they ARE for, they are unlike anything else. Best of luck to you :)
loved this video! i'm also 19 and from the UK and i own a 2006 toyota celica GT. recently found an oil leak and a shit ton of other engine issues so currently fixing it myself. good to see someone else my age working on their car themselves. keep the videos coming !!
Last year I traded in my 2018 Ford Escape for a 2019 WRX - since then I've had to replace the clutch and do a complete rebuild of the engine due to a cracked rod - but I STILL don't regret doing it. Nothing beats zooming through the back roads at 80mph in the middle of the night. Subie family for life my man.
Currently 23, owning 2005 since 19-20, never gave up on me and never had any issue, just changing my oil every 4k kilometres. Without this car my days would definitely be more miserable lol. EJ205 is definitely reliable
You’re right about the EJ205 being solid, most of the stuff online about Subaru reliability comes from badly modified EJ25s lifting head gaskets (also most of it comes from 12 year olds on instagram who don’t own a car). A stock 2 litre is really reliable as long as you keep up with maintenance.
@@its_aled8950 Just make sure to change the oil regularly and don't do anything to lean out the air fuel ratio: cold air intakes, blow off valves, aftermarket exhausts etc (you can do those things but it will require tuning by somebody who knows their way around Subarus)
@@willzibub I’m not planning on fitting a blow off valve or cold air intake however I do want to install a new exhaust and get some sports cats but I know a place that could tune it. Thanks a lot for the advice though
@@its_aled8950 Yeah putting a cat back in it is probably a good idea lol not only for AFR but also getting an MOT 🤣 Honestly if you don't do anything crazy with the exhaust you should be fine without a tune
I own a 07 forester sg5 2.0 litre turbo and I absolutely love the car. Only has 75,000kms and I’ve done a bunch of preventive fixes ie. heater bypass, changing the entire timing belt kit, water pump, replacing the thermostat, flushing and refilling all the fluids and the list goes on 😂. If you take care of it and keep it stock it will treat you well. Love Subaru and the Impreza thank you for keeping them going
I just turned 22 this year and own two WRXs. My first is an 02 that I purchased when I was sixteen and the second is an 04 that I purchased a couple years ago. They are lots of fun and you can learn a ton taking them apart every weekend🙄. In all seriousness, if they are well taken care of/maintained properly they can be super reliable.
The more time you spend with a car the better you get to know it and cars in general. Fixing stuff becomes easier and easier. Skills like that are invaluable. Older people usually dissuade young people from buying a car. The same old people that usually drive new cars that cost 10 times as much and lose half their value in a few years. Then they spend thousands on mechanic bills because they never learned how to do things themselves. Or maybe that's just my dad. Good luck, car looks and sounds beautiful.
In my country you need about 4 years as a low minimum wage worker before buying a car that is costlier than 8000 euros, most people here just get a dacia or renault 2nd hand and slap a turbo on them , when the car goes boom in 4-5 years they get the new-er model and do the exact same thing and even if they have the money and get some cool expensive car they almost NEVER ever drive it because of the costs of fuel. Problem with dream cars as a kid or if you don't have a top of the class job is that they break very fast and you need to shovel money out of your pocket to be able to repair them every single time, they also use a lot of fuel. Note: I'm all for getting your dream car, my dream car is an DC5 integra which is like 13k which on paper isn't that much , it just takes quite a bit of years (needing a degree and all that) before I am able to make such amounts that it will be easy to put some money away and even then it will be an uphill battle, very sad that these cars are not produced anymore, it would be awesome if the prices would go down.
Did the same thing at your age (V7 Prodrive) Never regretted it, created so many memories in it. Sure, it cost me some money and sleep, but a cool car makes life so much more colourful
Congratulations mate. The car looks actually very nice. Love the video as well. IMO do not invest much in a WRX, have fun ofcourse. if you can start modifying from STI base lateron, it will assure your investment. Additionally that exhaust pipe problem you will need to address it, due to the heat expansions putting them together later would be hectic. and these small things effect your turbo's performance and longevity. Keep it up, subscribed
falling in love with a car with issues is like falling in love with a woman with issues...my advice, don't let it drag you down, and know when the fun is exceeded by the headache and get out
I bought a 2002 Subaru WRX impreza back in 2019, I've put like 4000 miles on it since, it's been nothing but fix after fix. Practically a new car since. This was after a mechanic inspected it. I feel you, I am indeed a moron.
I have a subatu legacy of '04, it has been beaten up, it crushed once (now it wears some outback plastics) and it got watered down gas another time (had to change the becks) and on top of everything my family had to leave for 10 years untoutched because of economic issues. I picked it up, freshened it up a bit and it works perfectly. It shallows gasoline like its smarties in elementary school garden, but it gets me from point A to point B reliably. I am not huge in car racing or overall running with my car, i do abuse the 4x4 capabilities but that's it. Either way hope you enjoy yours, regardless if you regret it or not you still can have some good memories with it.
Incorrect. Tons of fun, very easy to work on, parts both OEM and aftermarket are plentiful, plenty of posts and guides about them online, will hold value well. Great car as long as you have a decent head on your shoulders!
I'm 23, did the exact same thing as you SEP last year with the exact same car and 3 days after I bought it the engine blew up due to a failing oil pump, Got it rebuilt and still have it today. Happy to connect and talk about these cars, it's been a blast and I don't regret it for a second.
I bought a twin turbo legacy at 17 blew it up now it has a full 2003 sti drivetrain swap with a fully built engine and 6 speed. They can be problematic cars but it always feels homely driving one I love the way they drive so much.
got my first car when i was 15, it was a 2002 wrx. I still haven't financially recovered from it. However it was the most fun car I have ever owned and I would do it all over again
Currently 21 and driving an old golf 5 that my grandma didn't wanna sell since "it's worth more than 1000$😡". Im going to drive the living hell out of it as long as it has life left and then im also buying myself a subby. It absolutely has to be blue tho

I mean lets be honest. Absolutely love the honesty and straighforwardness. I have my car stock as well through no choice of my own. I love hearing about your Subaru. Glad you're enjoying it. That's the most important.
Im 19 and i plan on getting a 69 mustang or an AE86. Pretty much the only reason why i got a job. Gonna start college in the fall for automechanics and body. I want to work on a car, reliable or not, i want it to be what want, and have with it.
My mate had a prodrive sti with a book the size of a yellow pages full of all the mods (EVERYTHING), could get on the motorway and instantly doing 150 and hitting the governor. He also had a naturally aspirated impreza that was a total dinger but we both had WAY more fun in that car compared to the crazy modded one.
Apart from very interested content of this video, I really have to point out the overall feeling from this. I just had nostalgia trip back to 2011. Keep up the good work and I wish you long drives without any future issues.
The insurance must be hell, but it's with it! I didn't get my first WRX until around 30, but I've had nothing else since. Modified the hell out of my 2005 WRX wagon, traded it in for a brand-new 2017 STI (not nearly as good) before selling that and getting a 2005 Japanese import STI which currently needs a new engine..... Don't worry about head gaskets, that's generally only the 2.5 non-turbo models that chew through them, particularly in US spec hence RU-vid says all Subarus kill themselves. Love the car, look after it!
Got my 03 at 19. It was already dyno tuned on VF48 1050cc 255 walbro 93. My most reliable vehicle ever owned. Only normal issues here and there due to aging. I love my Bugeye and wont regret keeping it as a garage queen one day.
Spectacular car for that age. I have 28 years now, got an Impreza GC8 GT with ‘07 sti spec C engine swap last year, and I love it! My dad owns a GC8 too since 2016. I had ep3 before, civic vti, saxo vts 1.6, etc, and nothing compares with owning the Subaru. Especially when you love group A cars and you’re a big fan of Colin McRae 🙏🏻 Keep going!
I'm 21, and i want to buy one, I'm probably going to ignore a good chunk of what you're saying right now but shit, I'm gonna enjoy mine too Edit: I've listened to everything and you're a legend m8
Currently 20, Bought a 05 forester XT turbo (at 18), has the 2.5L EJ25 and as long as you stay on top of everything you will be 100% fine. Make sure to change the oil every 5000kms and don't abuse it. 90% of people that have issues with the cars are young kids that think they can rally and crash or rev them to the moon. Do your maintenance and it will treat you well. I currently just past 200000kms and although there is now a permanent check engine light it still runs as smooth as when I still got it I even have a manual swap planned for it in the coming weeks! On a side note the catalytic converter isn't on the exhaust on the underside of the car its on the downpipe just after the turbo. The Subaru rust also plagues just about any of them on the market I would say yours is pretty clean just make sure to wash in your fenders!
Good lad. Be careful though. The problem with these cars is that the driver’s limit is usually well below the car’s capabilities. Which means it’s very hard to drive these at the limit on public roads. As much as I enjoyed mine, it scared me lot whenever I tried to drive fast on b-roads.
@@its_aled8950 I remember taking one corner quicker and quicker each day. It was impressive going from what I thought was fast to actually going to what the car was capable of. One day I went too fast and lost grip. All four wheels broke away at the same time and I drifted around the corner. Felt like a rally driver that day, once I’d settled down after the big adrenaline dump! (Oh and after nipping home to change my undies).
Lol I did the same thing 2 years ago, I’m 21 now and bought my 2005 WRX during my sophomore year at college-don’t regret it one bit (although I should’ve gotten a manual). Since then I’ve gotten gold BBS rims, an aftermarket radio, exhaust, an air oil separator, boost/oil pressure gauge, and it’s enough for me. Assuming the previous owner took somewhat good care of the car, I think if you keep it safe and stick to reliability mods it shouldn’t give you any major issues, all I’ve had to replace is basic 20 y/o car stuff (AC condenser, radiator, headlight bulbs). Cheers m8, enjoy the car 🎉

Biggest pain in the ass ever but I do not regret a thing when it comes to the time I put into it, because even with all the busted knuckles and expensive fixes, it's all worth it as long as you're enjoying yourself. Car looks and sounds great, so keep it up.
I get this recommended as I bought a 300ZX Z31 just today, great recommendation RU-vid. Tho to be fair, mine is in a better shape than your WRX. Nice car man, enjoy it. (Im 25 btw)
