Love this!! I'm a nurse and I remember years ago when I had to phone the On Call MD for a nursing home patient. He didn't know the lady at all. I told him what was up with her and he sounded kind of bored and ordered for me to just push fluids and monitor her. I said, "Doc, you didn't ask me how old she was'. He said, "Oh. Yeah, how old is she?" I said "111". She had been born in January of 1888, before Jack The Ripper struck in London. Man, Did he perk up then! He ordered all kinds of blood work for her. I mean, what's 'normal results' on someone that old? Old folks, old dogs and old cars. Love them all!

In March I bought a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica touring with 135000 miles for 500 at copart. It has a small dent under the right headlight. Didn't fix it, and it's my daily driver. Woodgrain interior sunroof 6DVD changer but no display screen.

My brother has my mom's old 1998 Toyota Avalon XLS she bought brand new and it now has 430,000 miles and still going strong.

I had a 2001 Dodge Grand caravan that I bought with 360k on it and I put another 100k on it and was running pretty good when I sold it. The guy I sold it to was taking it Mexico.

This Toyota sienna minivan is a great example of Toyota's reliability. *The best thing to do with this thing Randy, would be transforming it in a AAR L.L.C company van!* Just find 2 front seats take the rest of them out (huge cargo space), replace the busted window for some plexiglass. Wrap the side glas dark so it's a cargo van. In the back you can arrange things as you wanted. Toolbox, vice, 12v converter, strobe lights it's your chose. Imagine, you driving a hooptie brought from auction and this being the following car assisting them to AAR HQ or your home. With some company decals this would be great advertising for your business and the car is worth nothing at the moment and destroying it would be a shame for a car that survived over 500k miles. Please gif it some TLC.

I've had Toyota vans for years, I have early 90's Previas on my channel now but I used to have a very similar Sienna. The V6 in these aren't the greatest (they like to leak) but the Sienna itself is one of the best vans ever made

buy a ctek charger with recondition it saves old batterys and look them up. jay leno use thrm on all his cars. i use them. they work great.

If it was me I would strip the interior get reliable And have it as a shop Van for AAR HQ

I have a 02 sienna xle with the heated seats, its such a nice car honestly. got at 60k miles for 3k in a old dudes garage. put 50k on it so far no issues, just a suspension rebuild, belts, sparkplugs normal stuff. barely any rust, it actually has less rust than my 2019 Chevy equinox sittings next to it... they have been outside for the same amount of time.

That little Sienna deserves to be saved. Honestly, just for the content. Most of the parts it needs are either electric fixes, or stuff you can source at a junk yard for cheap. Turn it into the official AAR Van! Fix it up, make it look nice, and use it. Since you cant sell it really, and running it through copart again would be a bit pointless, Think about all the content you can make with it. Not all youtube channels have a 530k miles Toyota to show off and use.

I use to own a 2000 Toyota Camry XLE V6. It has the same 1MZ-FE V6 engine as that Sienna. I bought it from a lady in North Carolina back in 2010. I paid like $4500 for it with like 190-200k miles on it. I kept it until like 2019. I got rid of it because it had gotten to the point that I needed a new car and my little cousin needed a car for college. I detailed and sorted it out. However, while I had it, It gave me absolutely no issues at all. When I got rid of it, it had 470k miles on it and my little cousin to this day in 2023 still drives that car. Goes to show you that Toyotas are damn good!

I would love that Sienna! I would fix it up and rock that minivan! I even have a body guy that would fix the cosmetics on a budget.

that should be the 3.0L V6 1MZ-FE engine common issues knock sensors. Engine found in the toyota Avalon and V6 Camry...super good engines. I have it in the 2000 Avalon. Nice buy.

Crazy as I sounds, I wouldn’t mind receiving that as a give away car. I’m an old school toyota fan, and in my family we have two that have over 250000 miles, and run great.

Replace radiator, driver's seat and door glass. Replace hood if cheap enough and you have time. A bit of a clean up then either back in auction or give-a-way. Thank you Jessica (and Nick) for helping Randy.

If you do give it away, I have a friend here in Oklahoma who could use it. He currently drives a early dodge caravan that is a 5 speed! It was a former air force van. But it's at the end of it life and is extremely rusty. He also is a mechanic and could fix anything that goes wrong with it. He has a wife that stays at home and looks after his kid. He doesn't make much money but is one of those people who will give you the shirt off their back. Super good dude.

I just had to watch this Randy since I own a 1999 Sienna LE with just 143,000 miles. The tires and wheels are worth what you paid for it. In fact you could sell as parts and make your money back. If you're luck maybe just some fuses will fix the heater/ac. A rack for new rack and pinion is cheap through Rock Auto ($300 -$400). Too bad you're not in Maryland like me as an antique vehicle only has to be at least 20 years old with Oklahoma being 25. Sliding door glass on ebay is $104.50. You are correct about timing belt...at least it is a non-interference engine. I actually hope you fix it. I challenge you to fix it to see what all is involved. A new radiator on ebay is $63.38. OEM Denso at Rock Auto is $93.00. Forget the hood, it's just looks. Put money in mechancal items in such an old vehicle.

A half million mile car had to be purchased Randy!! Put in a new rad in it. Have a look at the steering if it's not too expensive (hopefully tie rods) fix that. Get a side window from the scrapyard and then? Sell it? Back to Copart? Donate? Give away? Big fan of this channel luv the content especially the walk arounds. Would luv to see a Copart pick up special that's right just pick ups. Any make any year just as long as it's a pick up.

My 99 has 300,000 miles no leaks no smoke no rust or dents from Japan originally. everyday driver in Ohio now 2000 cost 8ys ago and everything functions older couple owned 2nd owner greatest van I ever owned

These are cheap good buy even without crazy high miles. I bought 2002 sienna 3.0l with 140k original miles in denver 2023 for $1800. Just make sure do the timing belt and water pump every 100k miles and change oil every 3k miles. As these had oil sludge problems.

Good thing about that engine in the sienna is it’s the 1MZ-FE which isn’t a interference engine. We have a 1994 Camry V6LE which has the same engine and the water pump seized and snapped the timing belt and all that had to be done was a water pump and timing belt. No issue that’s the one thing the 1994 Camry is a nice car but it’s no Saturn (GM) but I like that the 3.0 L 1MZ-FE isn’t a interference engine
