@@jonathandavies6862 thanks for your honest reply, glad you took it for a bit of banter,, personally I love the brand, and have followed the brand since it was re born with Mr John bloor..I did toy with getting a second hand 595,, I think it is ,, but was put off by reliability of the bike., but I must admit I love the trick bikes triumph put out now...the brand has come along way In that time.
The 1st thing I do with a new bike is setup the suspension for my weight. I won't go into detail on how you do it but it's a time consuming process well worth it if you want great handling. On my '01 I had Race Tech (Orange County, Ca.)remove the front forks (old school style) and install HD progressive springs and their Gold Valves that they designed to make these old forks act like the Newer Inverted Forks. They replaced the oil with their own HD Oil. Total cost $750 in 2017. Kept the stock rear shock and just adjusted it to balance out the reworked front forks. You would not believe the change in handling 😮
Thank you for the continuous information on superbikes. At least I know what I will do when I own one. For now ,I own a Loncin 200cc motorcycle which I really really love . #BetterDaysAhead.
My dad had a 2006 one of these! He didn't like it tho and sold it. He much prefers his benelli tornado triple. It looks 1000x better than the triumph and sounds much better imo, plus they're a lot rarer over here in the UK compared to the speed being British👍
Man I love the double headlights on the speedy. I'm selling my speedy after 3 years of owning and I know imma miss it. I love how they look tbh one of the best looking bikes around.
I ride a street triple, triumph made some really good triple engines and only keep making them better. Looking forward to seeing how you like triumph over gxsr’s 😂
Like it a lot. One of the fist things I did was cut off the "stuck turd" license holder. Brits call it a tail tidy. No. Just No. To the license holder and the name.
propbibly good because the previous owner never rode it. 10k miles is nothing, he could have not changed the oil at all and it would still be fine. but naked bikes are the best, welcome to the corect way to experience two wheels.
My wife keeps saying no more butt seggs unless I sell my bike and it’s apparently illegal to sell your wife and I’m afaic yes to butt seggs. What do I do dadobo? I feel boxed in.
Honestly man, there's a certain charm with ugly cars and bikes such as this. Street and speed triple grew on me even though i still find them ugly... Hell even the ugly ass mt10 is so desirable in my eyes😂
