After months without updates, I decided to break the news that I sold the RS3 a few months ago. The plan was to hold off on buying anything for a while, but here we are buying a Mazdaspeed MX-5 less than 2 weeks after selling the Audi.

I have this car with the GT package (leather interior with red stitching and canvas top). It currently has a built engine and a gt2867r turbo on a megasquirt ms3pro ecu 700cc injectors, flyin miata coilovers with the track pack, 15x9 advanti storms, and I have been putting it on a diet for the last week or so. Engine coming back out today to change the exhaust setup and get the garrett intercooler from my totalled focus ST fabbed in and plumb it in. If you ever get rid of that top please get ahold of me.

I have a Velocity Red one and women often compliment it... I suspect the gold flakes catches their eye! I also have a turbo 2.5 NC beast and they're both wonderful in their own ways. Great find!

Great choice on the color, the best of what, 3 or 4 options🤔 I'm thinking you'll forget about that Cayman after you hit the Dragon in THAT! It's a rare car, southern car and one of those cars you just have to know about to really appreciate it😎

Yea I'm pretty sure it only came in 4 colors total. Hahaha. I think you are right, this thing really should be at home on some twisty mountain roads.

Velocity red, Lava Orange (sort of bronze color) then 300 or so Black Mica models before the factory burned. Overseas some metallic white ones popped up that Mazda never officially announced, but they're real production models.

I love seeing the MSM gain popularity on RU-vid again. I never got around to making a channel for mine, like i wanted. So seeing everyone post their builds is awesome. But thats the thing, modding is a must. The factory tune and ECU are god awful.

@ZachLarraz megasquirt ms3pro and get a decent tune and you should be happy for a while as it sits. After you drive it a bit and decide you want more dont go in stages, just do forged rotsting assembly and studded bottom end and go with big injectors and turbo and youll want to upgrade the clutch as well. Then dont tune for more than like 300-350rwhp or the rear end or trans will decide to go into early retirement

I sold my fully built 2019 Golf R (10.3@135mph) and got a 2004 MSM and honestly couldn't be more happy about my decision. The MSM is an amazing car, but i do want my power back...lol. Now to build the MSM
