Excellent finds today Thomas. Alot of the costume jewelry 💍 is worth good money. I have both real, and costume jewelry. I have one necklace that is 925,and it cost over $400.00. I could tell that some of the costume jewelry is older and probably worth a ton of $$. After you sort out the real gold and silver. Take the bslance to a reputable dealer and get the pieces estimated. What a great unit!!😅

I’m glad you are taking your time to go through the units. It’s very easy to miss something when processing that many items, Double and triple check. We do estate clear outs and if I said I’ve never missed anything, I would only be trying to fool myself. There has definitely been a few items that I wish i would’ve taken more time to look into! Baking soda is supposed to help with odors & moisture. When we had a camper, we put baking soda boxes in fridge during winterizing to prevent moisture that would create mold

You should do a video on the reality of storage units. Units like the one in this video are 1/100. A lot of people try to buy storage units now based on RU-vid videos and lose a lot of money in the process. If you don't know what you are doing you will get in big trouble financially. I'm guessing by the looks of the painting that he had it professionally restored At least the frame it depends on if the Staples are older new When if somebody had it restored recently they spent 500 or $600 to have it restore or more

Sometimes when it comes to old picture frames sometimes the paintings worth more than the frame and sometimes a frame is worth more than the picture it depends on if it's done by a famous framemaker

It's depressing, imagine all the collecting this family did, what could have happened to them to loose such history? To collect like that shows well educated and good jobs of some sort, looks like a professional person and family...... and family heirlooms being mauled over by people who only look for gold. This video made me wonder. What are you? A RU-vidr or a treasure hunter? Because you claim treasure hunter. Then constantly display RU-vidr.. here's an example 21:35 "I got gold". Then immediately puts a bag back in the jewelry box and off to put the next thing on video. That's not very treasure hunter-ish of you. And that happens way more than just that one time. Edit just got to the end of the video. You still didn't open the bag. Minus 10 points
